Rocky loves sweet treats.... but the problem is he doesn't cook.. is BBQ'in cooking? But not to be deterred he reached back into his Mum's recipe book and with the help of Wilma they've produced this typically Flintstonian offering. You'll enjoy the names of the recipes as he links them to his Belinda Blinked series. His favourite and the first one in the recipe book is Rocky's Crunch.... simple, moorish, you'll be 'droolin' by the time you get to eat it... jus promisin....

Introduction;

During his childhood whilst growing up on a farm in Ireland Rocky can remember many sweet treats. Whilst he had the usual gorgeous homemade biscuits and cakes there were other delicacies, known today as tray bakes. These are a gooey mixture put into a tray, left to set and then cut into generous pieces. Bella just loves them especially because they don’t need much cookin’... and Belinda agrees so much with Bella that they’ve installed a microwave in Belinda’s office. Well, Belinda had the budget and Bella knew how to plug it in...

Snacks were a part of daily living on a farm and as children Rocky and his brothers were always hungry. Everyone had to work physically hard outside on the farm which sharpened the appetite. They would of course have the traditional three meals a day; Breakfast was at 8am; Dinner (lunch) at 1pm, this being the main meal of the day, and Tea (dinner) at 6pm. However, to fortify these meals they would also have snacks at set times. Belinda and the Glee team just so love this concept and they coerced Rocky and Wilma into writing all the best recipes down in this book! It meant they only had to go to the Pentra after work.
