Introduction
If you don't know what it's like to forgive, you're missing out on a lot in your life. Learning to forgive can help you become psychologically stronger, and it's easier than you think. As you read through this book, it is suggested that you take the initiative by practicing the exercises mentioned in each chapter. People frequently struggle to move past painful memories in their lives. Even though this isn't a new concept, and we've all known since elementary school that we should learn to forgive and forget! Unfortunately, many people have a tendency to dwell on the past, which only leads to a downward spiral of pain and disappointment.
The book explains this in simple terms so that you can begin by letting go of small things and work your way up to the bigger picture. Finally, what we truly desire in life is a sense of fulfillment and happiness. Holding grudges to your grave is something you would not wish for yourself or others. We only have one life, so don't leave any disappointments or regrets behind. I felt compelled to write down everything I know about forgiveness so that others would not have to go through what I did.
Despite the common misconception that forgiveness entails sacrificing
oneself for the sake of others, it is much more. Indeed, forgiveness is a gift
that you give to yourself and those you care about. You may not see it this way right now, but after studying what I'm about to share, you should be able to put negativity behind you and begin to enjoy life to the fullest. Negativity of any kind will hold you back. Every day provides you with a life preserver in the form of forgiveness. It's up to you whether you take it, but once you do, you'll realize how much it changes everything in your life and frees you from all of the pain and bitterness that comes with it.

True forgiveness does not come back to bite you in the backside. It's similar to giving a gift when you learn about forgiveness. You give without conditions. People who claim to forgive but constantly bring up the past demonstrate that they haven't truly forgiven. They may have stated that they had forgiven, but with no intention of doing so. So, what exactly is true forgiveness?
