Thanksgiving and praises are important instrument to move close to God. Our presence is needed before God to praise and thank Him. Our prayer should not be O Lord, give me this, give me that. Appreciate what the Lord did in your life in the past; what he is presently doing, and what he will do tomorrow. Our career is under danger. Enemy surrounds us. We want to achieve great things of life. We want our foundation healed. We have debts to pay. We have arrears to collect in business and in office. We have bills to settle. Our home needs attention. You need prayer to fulfill all these. But God knows all these. Open your mouth in prayer and thanksgiving. This is what God needs. He knows the beginning to the ending. This is why he is called, the Alpha and Omega.

The Lord wants you to come to him always, to thank him and praise him. In good and bad time, he needs your praise and thanksgiving. God wants to meet us in our pain and disappointments. Through prayers of thanks and gratitude, we are able to experience the true meaning of thanksgiving. The pillars of thanksgiving and praises cover much ground. We thank God for food on our table and remember the sick. Many are on the sick bed today praying to rise up in good health, but you are hale and healthy, thank God. We thank God for friends who stand by us at the point of need and challenges, also we remember unfriendly friends planning to pull us down. Thank God, they failed and are put to shame. We thank God for protecting us from witchcraft powers and remember the enslaved.

This book has 55 pillars of thanksgiving we need to know and pray with. Enemy prowl about looking for who to devour. Enemy is desperate to devour your destiny and calling. Enemy wants to destroy your home and handwork. Enemy wants your downfall at all cost. This book opens our eyes to how to thank God and be fulfilled.

It is time we thank God for his amazing power and work in our lives. This book will teach you how to thank God for his goodness and blessing over us. We thank him for his great love and care. We thank him of his sacrifice on the cross that gives us freedom and life. We thank him for forgiving us when we don’t thank him enough. Let’s raise our voice to the Almighty to help us set our eyes and heart on him afresh. Let’s thank God who renew our spirit, fill us with his peace and Joy. Show love to God in thanksgiving as we need him, this day and every day. To this I say, O Lord, I give you praise and thanks, for you alone is worthy.

Let’s look at thanksgiving prayers from the scripture

Psalm 95:1-3 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.

Psalm 100:1-5 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 118:29 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Psalm 103:1-5 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

Psalm 136:1-5 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever. Who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever.

The gains in thanksgiving is much and great. We need it. We should pray, praise and thank God always. Let’s pray.
