CHAPTER ONE

HOUSEHOLD WICKEDNESS

⁵ Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

⁶ For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

⁷ Therefore I will look unto the

Lord

; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Micah 7: 5-7

These verses reveal you must not trust neighbors and family members in the circumstances of life. It is not everyone that laugh with you, loves you. In fact, most times they show likeness on their faces but hardened in mind. You are hardly loved. Neighbor includes people in your office, business partners and people that live around you. Care and help are at times far in them. Instead of raising and lifting you, they dig grave to bury you. They form gangster to pull you down and assassinate your character. They are loaded with mockery. They turn you to nothing in the spirit and manifest it in the physical.

A man’s enemies are his lineage. They knew you in the beginning. They knew you at birth and as you grow. They monitor you in order to destroy you. They amputate destiny and are Goliath that destroy. Being a born again Christian will enable you to recognize them in the family and know how to pray about it. This is the value you gain in the church. You must be on fire and understand the scripture.

Cain and Abel were brothers being the first nucleus family to settle on earth. No relatives, no other brothers or sisters around! Just two of them! Imagine you are a man and have only one brother in a city or a country. Imagine the vast land around. Two of you can’t cultivate the land and finish it. Yet, because you or your brother lost a contest you prefer to kill him! This is how it looks.

This is the account; Genesis 4: 1-5.

¹ And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

² And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

³ And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

⁴ And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

⁵ But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Here, doing the right thing that leads to success and favor of God create room for household wickedness. While your parents tarry in prayer and fasting, attend church service and seek the face of God, others are busy doing evil to truncate you. They don’t add value to life. They are Satanic. They worship and boast of evil they do. When it is time to reap the godly good harvest, they have nothing to show. They are bitter and discouraged. At the turn of situation they felt unhappy and they attack.

Imagine the way Cain answered God when he was asked of his brother, Abel. He was proud and arrogant. This is the spirit of household wickedness. The audacity, the arrogance, the pride and ego he responded to God was abnormal after doing evil. Hear him. Then the LORD said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? He said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper? Genesis 4:9. He talks as if God was his mate. This led to his fall and doom. Unfortunately, this is the first born child on earth. He forgot we are flower that fade in a twinkling of an eye. Abel was not killed from outside but was killed within.

Most people are under the attack of parents, siblings, uncle, aunts and generational bloodline. The spirit of Cain still exists today. They don’t kill physically but kill in the spirit, through witchcraft and other evil medium. Some don’t go far to visit herbalist but are character assassins. They quench the light of progress and deny you generational wealth.

The powers of your father’s house are smart at stopping you from progressing. They mock you and never like you to succeed. Household enemies are now slave masters ensuring no one grow in the family. They are satanic supervisors and demonic monitors. They gang up to destroy. In the family, you are betrayed. You are not loved. It is not a matter of your skin, age or height. Strangers will come and live in your house or town and make it, while family members are pegged to poverty. They will not empower you, rather they will look for how to drag you on the floor or bring you down. They frown at your success. They contribute to raise a generation without hope, without direction and confidence. There is no how good things can be done in the family to expand. It is always stories of woes.

Household enemies don’t believe ordinary men in the family can rise and be somebody. The question is when shall they change the culture of wickedness and support good things of life? The time is going; there must be game changers in the society. We must build investors, financial giants and people that have liberal mind to succeed. This is not only generational issues but the nation at large. In Africa, the moment you set up business, it is ruined! What a pity. It is ruined as a result of witchcraft, jealousy, insincerity of workers and pulls it down-syndrome.

Let’s look at Joseph and his brothers. He was hated to a point of death. What was his offence? He dreamt and told his household. He had two dreams that show he will one day be a leader. The first dream: And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. Genesis 37:6-7. His brothers challenged him. They held it against him. He had another dream. And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. Genesis 37:9. His father challenged him. Joseph was in between his father and his brothers. His brothers waited for an opportunity to destroy him. He eventually walked into their hands.

Immediately, they saw Joseph far away, they said: And they said one to another, behold, this dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. Genesis 37:19-20. These are Joseph’s bone of his bone, and flesh of his flesh. Your enemies are out for your dream. They want to truncate it and make you helpless. This is Joseph of the same blood with his brothers treated this way. His brothers are out for his dream. As it was with Joseph, so it is with you. Your dream matters. This is why you don’t tell people your dream or plan. They will be out to scatter it. Your dream makes you an enemy in your own house. Joseph was the youngest to his brothers, except Benjamin. He wasn’t hated by outsider. He was hated from within. The conspiracy was within. He was sold to strangers. Household enemy can sell you in the spirit to unknown hands. You may be surrounded by many brothers and sisters; you are alone unless you are in Christ. Your dream can make you a target. Your dream can set you
