MY ENEMIES SHALL BOW I DON’T CARE WHO THEY ARE

Let’s read Colossians 4:2-6 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

In these verses, if you study what happens, you will not fear any power or anybody, nor entertain fear, because we shall know what to do as said in the verses. First thing is, to be prayerful and watchful; give thanks to God, intercede for others and give grace to the Lord Almighty, so that grace upon our life can be seasoned with salt. Salt is a heavenly ingredient to power life. Salt is what proclaims the Word, salt is what makes God happy in heaven in thanksgiving. Salt is like a bonus that oil’s the wheel of prayer.

Let’s read the book of Psalm 85:4 Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure towards us.

When God restores you enemy can’t do anything. The Lord is powerful than every creature. This is the reason the Psalmist says, "O God restore us back again and put away your displeasure towards us". When God put his displeasure away from you, nobody can count any mistake or sin against you or counter you of past sins, mistakes or omission. When Moses corpse was wrestled by Satan with the angel he failed. But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, The Lord rebuke you!" Jude 1:9. Here the angel rebuked Satan, Leave the corpse of Moses alone, it is not for you. The rebuke was like fire and thunder. Satan turned back and left, because the displeasure he thought God will count against Moses was not there. Moses has been forgiven. No stain was found in the book of remembrance of Moses. He is whole and clean. What Satan intends doing is to take Moses to hell fire, but Angel Michael said, No leave this corpse alone, this corpse will not follow you to hell fire; and that was it. Moses must have smiled and say; I don’t care who my enemy is

The book of Psalm 85:7 says, Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation. If God show you unfailing love and grant you salvation there is nothing anyone can do. These are reasons that will make you bold and say; I don’t care who my enemy is I don’t care what anybody may say I don’t care what enemy may do. Psalm 85:12-13 further says, The LORD will indeed give what is good and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps. What is good is what God gives. God will give what is good to reap good harvest. When you are sure God will do it, you won’t care of anyone because God is on your side. Hence, you will say, I don’t care who my enemy is

Don’t forget that the title of this book is, I don’t care who my enemy is. The question is, who is your enemy? Who is my enemy? Who are our enemies? Who is the enemy of a nation? Who is the enemy of the world? Let’s answer it from the last question. Who is the enemy of the world? The enemy of the world is Satan. The enemy of a nation is nation against nation and individual against individual. We have intercontinental problem and challenges. People turn themselves to enemies. There was accusation and counter accusation against nations during Covid-19 pandemic. In a nation, it is enemy of tribe against tribe, we have enemy of religion, enemy of race, enemy of wealthy people against the poor. Poor people hate the rich. Political leaders don’t show love to masses. There is cold war among them. Once elected, they turn their back at people that elect them to power. This is cold war.

The question again is, what do we mean by enemy? An enemy is the person or power that blocks you to prosper. Any power that blocks your way to prosperity is your enemy. If someone knows the path you will take to prosperity and blocks it, he is your enemy. There is a case of someone who can best be described as enemy of progress. We shall later call him Mr. Zed. There is another man who bought a large landed property, we shall call Mr. Lander. Mr. Lander fenced his land and had a big gate at the entrance while Mr. Zed his neighbor bought one plot of land. He built a makeshift and packed in. The area being a bush, Mr. Zed was the only one that lived there. Mr. Lander was his only neighbor but did not pack in or build but use it for farming until later year to build. Both knew each other very well. Something happened. One of the telecommunication networks wanted a lease of Mr. Lander’s land but couldn’t be traced. Mr. Zed was contacted being the only one around then, but he denied ever knowing Mr. Lander or has his phone number. Meanwhile, he knew Mr. Lander very well because they live in the same street before they came to this new site. It was the wife of Mr. Zed that informed Mr. Lander’s wife to buy the land. The offence of Mr. Lander was, he initially bought one plot of land and later bought more and fenced it. Buying more than one plot of land was his offence. Mr. Zed was not happy at all but hated and jealous Mr. Lander.

At the end of the day, Mr. Lander missed the opportunity for the mast to be erected in his land. Meanwhile anytime Mr. Zed sees Mr. Lander, he will greet him as if nothing happens. Mr. Lander eventually knew, not after three years. If the mast was erected it would have fetched Mr. Lander millions of naira contract. Now what can you call Mr. Zed? Is he a friend or a foe of Mr. Lander? The fact is anytime Mr. Lander visited his site, Mr. Zed will greet him, talk with him, laugh with him and discuss with him as friend, but deep inside him was jealous and hatred to Mr. Lander without reason. But God blessed and elevated Mr. Lander. From this analysis, you will know that Mr. Zed branded himself as enemy of Mr. Lander. There is no argument about this; Mr. Zed is an enemy of progress.

Power of witches and wizards that disturb
