About this ebook

This series of books entitled "Nostradamus" is a publication of William Dudley Pelley’s original "Soulcraft Fellowship, Letters from Home, The Nine O’clock Sessions, Survey of Probabilities, Purposes of the Infinite, Letters from the Heavenly Home and Halls of Light Illumination" representing over 1500 legal-sized, single-spaced typewritten pages originally written in 1955 but never published in its entirety before now.
This material, thought to be unique in Pelley’s writings, was channelled by him and mailed weekly to his subscribers in five-page sets. One unknown individual in Washington State assembled these sets (minus issue #1) and bound them into the manuscripts. We at TNT Publishing obtained the manuscripts, digitized them and are publishing them herein, beginning with Letter Number 2.
While the majority of this material was received psychically from Nostradamus, other Steller historical personalities also "tuned in" to provide (absolutely awesome!) knowledge and valuable communication while Pelley was in contact with Nostradamus, Democritus, Henry Ford, Benjamin
Franklin, Thomas Edison and others...

Dr. Michel Intersperses a Contribution Upon the Import of Celestial Television

    MY DEAR WILLIAM AND ASSOCIATES:

The situation in earthly times being what it is, my colleagues on this higher side of life feel that it might be an expedient thing for me to interpose a paper of my own at this point in the instruction we are endeavoring to convey to you, touching on many things of practical application . . If there is one thing we are seeking to achieve, it is converting so-called Higher Wisdom into channels that render your terrestrial sojourn not only understandable but profitably utilizable to you. If the lore becomes too academically abstract, certain types of minds will not be impressed by it. Indeed, the suggestion has even been advanced that papers alternating strictly Cosmic Physics with denouement of earthly or worldly procedures might not come amiss as instructional technique. Before going ahead with last week's theme on how Personality and Temperament are developed in the earth scene, suppose we devote this evening to matters of practical interest in the stage of society through which you are passing. Chief among these is the nature of your own current problems and complications in what I might call the mechanical nature of your work and mission. One to five thousand students must not be allowed to remain in ignorance of what is transpiring or what is upon the cards to transpire. Thus to the business . .

You and some of your engineers had an epochal experience, as they considered it, on Thursday evening past, in hearing the literal and audible accents of Dr. Benjamin Franklin coming close and addressing you. Much that Benjamin imparted, I admit, was technical in the extreme -- which was his reason, of course, for joining our counsel-group at the moment at all. You must try, in your eagerness to give value to your mortal communicants, not to be voluble to your own disservice. While you now know the principle which makes this innovation practical and presumably workable, there is a long siege of patent registration to be negotiated, as well as opposition of an element that by no means looks with favor on such higher information reaching the public at all. A wholly altered psychology of society can only come from it, such altered psychology by no means enhancing in temporal power the mortal overlords now dominating mankind's thinking to their own vain enhancements, while we on this Upper Side do want mass humanity to know what is afoot, by no means should mass humanity be apprised as yet of all the delicacies of achievement by which these new avenues to wisdom are opened to general public traffic. The whole is my theme which I solicit permission to enlarge upon tonight -- that, and consideration of mass reaction as the loftier planes of Consciousness become of accredited existence by sensory contact. Persons like Dr. Benjamin Franklin and myself look upon it that suddenly rendering visible and audible the physically demised, thus assuring the most illiterate of continuity of personality, must henceforth be reckoned as one of the world's major inventions and innovations. Not since Atlantean days has anything of such consequence been of note. Mankind enmasse assuredly comes into a new promotion in Consciousness. All worldly life alters significance in a twelvemonth. However, I have still more personal axes, perchance, to grind in visualizing what easily springs up overnight in the wake of financial and material-production realities. You have your cup of personal supervisions filled to the brim, my dear William, traversing courses you have never run before. You and those associated with you must be brought to comprehend them. And here I would function as your most intimate mentor. What you are envisioning is not especially for your County, your State, or even your North American nation; IT IS FOR THE WORLD! Mayhap within half a decade, fifty countries of the earth may be calling upon you for educational succor in the stupendous disclosures which you shall have unleashed. Shall they regard you in friendliness or hostility? Shall they rise to the stupendous advances in enlightenment or shall they childishly conclude, How much better it might have been with us had we been allowed to persist in our ignorance? How well are we on some of these higher planes aware that no rancors can be raised mightier than those accruing from the sudden demand that humankind exercise additional grey matter and THINK! Thinking is forever Spiritual Growth reactively motivated. Opening the mind generally to wholesale concepts of higher worlds surmounting higher worlds and Consciousness expanding from contemplation of all of them, requires energy-expenditure that souls individually resent.

I suppose it resolves to the fact that humanity wants to adhere to a program of instruction that is stable. It wants standards of enlightenment that are constant and dependable. There must be a finality of a sort to cosmic fundamentals so that one's philosophy of self-awareness does not shift with every new 'ism'. Humanity is seeking that upon which it can confidently rely. The integrated worlds should not terminate philosophically in endlessness. Humanity wishes them to have beginnings and endings, in order to regard them as abstract completions. Perturbingly for weal or woe, they appear to do nothing of the sort. Wrapping the universe up in a neat philosophic package therefore proceeds to illusions. Actually human souls develop or evolve to incomprehensible endlessness; as your Golden Scripts have said to you. 'There is no determinable summit to which your inherent godhood arises.' And this disturbs and upsets man. He foresees no cessation from his labors at self-improvement. And he wants to foresee it, else the future is a task forever uncompleted. The thought is intolerable,

You are standing with humanity at this current period in eternity on a threshold of disclosure that there is no end to the heights to which we elevate. Entertaining the delusion that human beings begin when new physical enhousements are conjugated and delivered from maternal equipments, man as a rational entity has been content with accepting that termination of the experience of 'living' came with the destruction of the vehicle's integrity. Suddenly you purport to demonstrate that both his concepts may be fallacy. The fact that it becomes provable that each individual continues performance of his personality to non measurable sequences of Consciousness, that Death in fact is of the outer instrument only, confronts him with the challenge in reason that he might be wrong as well in his notions about prenatal existence. Acceptance of both possibilities, of prenatal as well as postmortem careers without number, depicts him as a mere transient in the terrestrial state, with no restful pillow on which to lay his distracted head. You are saying to him, 'Life is activity that performs regardless of the locality in which it discovers itself. You must accept it as a perpetual sequence, never as a relaxation at a destination.' Mankind resents this because it makes him out a traveler never quite positive about his destination. Nothing of enduring consequence holds out the beacon of Arrival to him. He lacks the acumen to grasp that he ever arrives as he climbs Upward but that each Arrival is not a place but a condition .. a condition of expanded faculties. Immediately that one has achieved the Expansion, one makes a fresh sortie to an Expansion still greater. Strictly speaking, Home isn't the gaining of a haven; Home is realization of having caught up in such expansion with one's kin and kind, Sanctuary is residence amid a condition of fellow understanding and fellow sympathy. Varied materialistic environments maintain at all intervals each with enhanced privileges and practices. Living in the world therefore truly becomes registering greater and greater accomplishments in Consciousness. It is a hard concept to acquire but all Progress is truly the essence of it.

You and the New Five Thousand which you are more or less unwittingly feeding, William, are delegated - so we might call it -- to jolt moribund intellects into a closer and more pertinent grasp, not of their predicament in Cosmos so much as their privilege in Cosmos . . of suddenly and dramatically expanding spiritual comprehensions so that these primary grades of realization are become overnight permanent graduations onto octaves of Higher Realizations and juvenile acceptances become forever outmoded.

Having said the foregoing I consider motivations for this whole philosophic departure are fairly well covered. Immediate resources and methods fall in quite another category.

You have a task to consummate and have been aware of it subconsciously ever since the biologic delivery of your current organism. Into current life with you, volunteering to accompany and assist you, came a host of colleagues and associates similarly inspired. All were graduate souls competently endowed, not all as cleverly cognizant of the Time element for achievement as yourself. Some were to act as fellow instructors with you. Some were to pace you as vanguards and prepare the minds of the juvenile multitude to listen to you. A still more significant quota were to occupy themselves at acquiring extraordinary quantities of the material world's goods, that the revenues deriving out of them might lubricate the machineries that made revelations facile and brought the assistance of helpers in tasks beyond personal capabilities of attention, Unhappily it has been this third segment that has defected on you most lamentably, William, the vibrations of goods-possessions exerting the stronger enticements in the earthly circumstance. Also enters in the element of Vanity.

Countless are the numbers of those resenting your demonstrations of initiatives, making you determined to provide your own resources as others are tardy about fulfilling their pacts. Gaining into life on the vibration of riches, the practical economist ignores the Greater Errand in the unusual agreeableness of Power which riches furnish. Why should he share with you the effectiveness of his affluence? You cannot answer him that his path of great gains marked him for his limitations as teacher, whereas your path of teacher by no means marked you as unable to make great gains. But such differences of temperament CAN slow up the program of colleague-accomplishment. While petty idiosyncracies of character are manifesting, Time may be running out. Again, while you may sense it and your affluent associate may not, so is each of you marked as properly placed in his role. You frequently comment, not without pardonable bitterness, that millions of thalers seem to be available for mischiefs, subversions, erroneous instructings, general retardation of man's cosmic destinies. Why should this be while your Great Program suffers? I say to you, it isn't that such millions are thus diverted, . . it's that equal other millions are restrained from reaching you through vanities. It probably won't make you feel much happier to hear me tell you that had certain colleagues in the past delivered into your hands what they had contracted to deliver into your hands, the Program of Light would be ten years further advanced than you behold it at this moment. So you depart your role periodically to recoup for that Program the losses caused by others. Utter no vindictive word against such defaulters, however; their sufferings of chagrin and self-reproach shall be their own burden, excluding them from participations in similar Programs up great stretches of ages. Out of five men entering life with you to make certain of the resources, four have defected on you and you know whom they were and the misfortunes that overtook then. Three more such colleagues are yet to be heard from, but the decision rests with them; you are nowise concerned in it. Such resources being come up with, however, the major work goes forward . . Likewise you do have the aid of what I may call colloquially Pinch-Hitters. Ten men -- or women -- who subscribe a hundred thousand thalers each, can be equally as effective as the one who supplies a million. Meanwhile what shall be said of the hundred thousand Workers for the Kingdom who send the hard-bitten ten thalers with Love's blessing?

Meantime, William, you do the task that comes to hand and let nightfall find you where it will. Sufficient unto the day is the production thereof. When the defections of the Resource-Brethren promised the hiatus which they did, the Life Plan of your sunset years was altered radically. Instead of advancing into councils of State, you by your own election undertook the task instead of providing the resource which the vain ones denied you. You will acquire by worldly methods what the shortages have been and go forward affluently, nothing suffering but the Program, delayed by small fault of yours. Mankind has all eternity in which to profit, so what truly matters it? Two great companies of stalwarts you are already shepherding up the pasturelands of Time. Happily each ties in with the problem of super-plane vision . .

All of it, if the truth could only be known, is quite as it should be. Creating as you instruct, you instruct as you create. When men come to regard your Enlightenment Career in its run of better than sixty years, it shall appear an inspiration of itself. Of course there is a reason now why the famous ones visit you . . they know of the merit in the task of correcting the defections of those whose acumen is not up to the circumstance. Meanwhile, motivation inspired by us enters into the hearts of ten thousand unknown to you, bringing you succor when you expect it not. Remember that we hold consultations with souls when out of their bodies in the deepest slumber of the night, in far more instances than you suspect. We call attention to the defections of many who forthwith correct them. Never is any plight of yours so desperate as you imagine.

And that leads me to discuss a final point with you in all the instruction that has an etherically originated basis, . . a tendency that can scarcely be avoided to turn the focus of Wisdom off this plane and onto the several higher planes, to the subconscious discomfiture of the pupil who would live in the Here and Now. I'm aware you've had it expressed in many letters, that the tendency of our instruction is to place spiritual concentration on conditions after physical demise and not enough on the problems and prospects pertaining to the terrestrial alone. What purpose is served by emphasizing the details of life on planes three, four, or five, while seeming to view plane one with impatience and contempt?

The answer as we see it, is to remove and abolish further fear of Death and thus obtain a clearer and sweeter concept of what transient earthlife essentially is. When you put undue emphasis on the fallacious axiom, Make the most of this one life, because you're going to be a long time dead! you subject this hectic earthlife to a strain it in no wise deserves. You develop a nervous complex that results in unnatural and unwholesome tension over matters of worldly importance. When your judgment around the clock is warped by the terror of imminent demise, you can't live or think normally. People go literally into panic and commit the most absurd aberrations when their knowledge about continued existence is denied them. They can't live this life naturally and thus get the most from it. Grief from bereavement is a synthetic and allied aspect of the same fright. A sort of what's-the-use?-feeling takes possession of the intellect as the sunset years are entered. A sensation of not having achieved the ambitions of youth, of confronting Failure in repayment for life's stresses and strains, of having shot one's bolt and missed, can't help but brand spiritual stresses on the character. Instead of taking the bumps and complications of life in stride, graciously accepting that no experience has been purposeless, getting a sane and balanced viewpoint over excessive acquisition of property, the opposite in every case is true. When undue emphasis is placed upon the terrestrial career alone, a despair is engendered that almost nothing is worthwhile since death ends everything. Suddenly come into overwhelming certainty that Death ends nothing, that you go straight along being the person you've always made yourself, that every adventure and sensation you've ever known has left its permanent impress upon you, and a pressure comes off the strictly mundane ordeal that you hadn't supposed could happen. The apparently senseless accidental death of a beloved child or relative doesn't poison your relations among survivors with bitterness. You come to regard men and women as strictly the results of what they likewise have experienced. Charity based on intelligent understanding deepens and refines ordinary daily life for you. Nothing of such sort accrues when you turn bandaged eyes to the import of the Hereafter, and declare it doesn't count.

To say that nothing really counts but the current life and how you live it is equivalent to saying that nothing really counts but the first grade of grammar school, and how you live with your juvenile classmates dictates and determines how you will live and deport yourself throughout all the upper grammar-grades, and high school and college. Could anything be more absurd? Great wits in loftier dimensions have long since determined that it is as childish as it is primitive to try to present the mammoth educational system that is Cosmos by one Beginner's Term on earth and the entire curriculum should be grasped for what it is.

Think for instance what it is going to mean for televised projections of those who have lived physically and diedto be rendered afresh in their living Light-Bodies, for the bereaved mother to behold her lost babe grown---even to converse with it -- to behold lost celebrities of history as one might tune into TV pictures of current celebrities in Washington, to have a favorite brother or uncle available for his old-time business advice, to listen to description after description of experiences from those who have earlier made the Passing. Reports must become available of the higher or more advanced viewpoints on earth's fallacies and blunders, the secret trysts of great earthly malefactors openly related, barbarisms of earthlife shown up against the accomplishments and tranquilities of existence with flesh left behind. Earthlife would suddenly become apparent merely for the primitive Beginning that it is, its significance duly coded, its vital lessons made clearer, its functions established almost as the basement in the Father's house of many mansions. Instead of dolor, death, and oblivion, the careers on ahead must only be inspirations, something to prepare for, to acquire qualifications for residing on gracefully. Transfer must thereupon lose all aspect of shock. Lastly, what of the overwhelming moral effect on Terrestria to behold upon occasion the Son of Man Himself, physically rendered in present appearance as He moves among those most loving Him for Lord and Master?

Who would dare to say that repercussions from such, made visual to earth, wouldn't alter every aspect of terrestrial living? What could Earth lose by it? How foolish and ephemeral would be the plaints of those who cried, We're not interested in any 'future states', we want to know solely how to get through this earth-world with minimum distress and maximum affluence!

Such visual and audible communication must alter every creed and racial religion on earth, William. No longer could the ribald evangelist foam and pound to herd sinners into Goodness by threats of a region of brimstone that our nearest and dearest must assure us does not exist. Even salvation by grace and death-bed repentance must join concepts archaic. The alleged power to forgive sins vicariously must be shown as a fallacy. Adulation of any racials for being a particularly Chosen People
