About this ebook

This series of books entitled "Nostradamus" is a publication of William Dudley Pelley’s original "Soulcraft Fellowship, Letters from Home, The Nine O’clock Sessions, Survey of Probabilities, Purposes of the Infinite, Letters from the Heavenly Home and Halls of Light Illumination" representing over 1500 legal-sized, single-spaced typewritten pages originally written in 1955 but never published in its entirety before now.
This material, thought to be unique in Pelley’s writings, was channelled by him and mailed weekly to his subscribers in five-page sets. One unknown individual in Washington State assembled these sets (minus issue #1) and bound them into the manuscripts. We at TNT Publishing obtained the manuscripts, digitized them and are publishing them herein, beginning with Letter Number 2.
While the majority of this material was received psychically from Nostradamus, other Steller historical personalities also "tuned in" to provide (absolutely awesome!) knowledge and valuable communication while Pelley was in contact with Nostradamus, Democritus, Henry Ford, Benjamin
Franklin, Thomas Edison and others...

The Christian Layman Must Be Reeducated in the Realization that He is a Divinity in School

Verbatim Transcript from Electronic Tape Recordings of Audible Converse

    Dear William and Soulcrafters:

Continuing our explorations into that which should be told the novice-layman about the beginnings of Cosmos and himself on earth, the procreation of the First Man and First Woman is not the essential thing. What sort of a universe is he, himself, living in, how did it come about, and what purpose is it serving -- these are the truly important matters with which he should concern himself. To speak to you frankly, the actual age of any sentient human being alive on your planet at this moment, isn’t known! Anyone telling you to the contrary is deceiving you. One thing we can tell you without deceiving you, however, is this:

Human souls, no matter in what station or aspect you find them, did not originate here upon this solar orb.

This isn't saying they came from the moon, or Mars, or Venus, or any other orb in your particular solar system. Man came from a dozen to a score of different stellar systems, locating here on Earth to go through a hell of Experiences that out of them he might compile a philosophy based on his resultant judgment of Right and Wrong. That which benefited him was Right, that which damaged him was wrong. Something like 5 billion souls were exiled to this particular solar satellite, to go in and out of respective earthly bodies times beyond count and imbibe the increments in wisdom deriving from each. I tell you, unless you accredit the details of the Great Migration, you remain unaware of the true origin of Man upon this planet!

As a matter of fact, my dear people, you have the unchallengeable account of the whole of it in the 91st chapter of your Golden Scripts. The Master told you in this passage --

"Know that men have often said that I am Son of God -- meaning a literal Father, dwelling in a literal heaven, surrounded by His messengers and judging all men according to their deeds! . . the Father, who rendereth unto you a picture of divine paternity, is vaster than men think, in that out of the Infinite cometh Reason by a process that hath in it Creation as ye know it. This Reason is the Voice of Creation telling men, born and unborn, of vast mysteries. These mysteries, beloved, are choice of selection, by which I mean they encompass circumstances that cannot be interpreted excepting as man compareth them with knowledge which he hath within his own experiencing. But this Voice of Reason is more than argument; it hath in it potencies that take form in Thought . . all of us are Thoughts manifesting in so-called Matter, which in itself is Thought -- not a projection of the intellect but a conceiving of Things As They Might be therefore they Are. By this I mean, Thought is of eternity, before matter, being all that there is in the Cosmos!

The Cosmos in turn is Thought. It began to manifest in Matter trillions of millenia ago in earthly time for a reason: It was impossible to conceive, even emotionally, without formal matter of some kind to give Thought character and measurement. When I tell you that the earth-plane and mortal life are but types of Thought-measurement, I explain life closer to truth than any other way or by any other measurement. Life is projection of thought indeed, but it is Thought projecting in terms of quantities for measurement of itself for evaluation of its own attributes! . . Life hath in it the essence of Thought while at the same time it is Thought . .

"When I speak then of the 'Father' I speak verily of One who ruleth the host of all Thought-Streams, a Spirit so aged that no man knoweth its antiquity! This Spirit in power is beyond even My conceiving, even as temporarily I was beyond your mortal conceiving whilst in mortal flesh. This Spirit existeth and endureth, older I say than any known to the host of which I have knowledge. He is not God as man conceiveth God, Nevertheless He is so wise in His conceivings that His power transcendeth that of any spirit projected onto any plane of which we have wisdom.

    "Of such is omnipotence!

"When I say that I am Son of God, and refer to The Father, I refer to this Spirit, because with Him I am in touch and know no greater beyond Him. I tell you, beloved, I believe others to be beyond Him but of them I have no knowledge and probably never will have knowledge, they ever receding as we approach them! When I say, therefore, that the Father existeth and yet say there is no God but Thought, I do not fabricate; we have spirits with us on these loftier echelons of life so powerful of knowledge, concept, and constructive emotionalism, that they even transcend Myself who was given your earth-planet as My temporary ruling-place. These spirits are known intimately unto me and yet even unto you when ye are out of your flesh. Infinite as they are, greater in power than anything known to men of mortality, they have control of the universe as men know it. They are omnipotent and omnipresent in the world and the universe, ruling it by Thought Projection and enabling it to function!

"I have come among men for my ruling-purpose time and time again, not to manifest omnipotence, for omnipotence is ever relative and even the Ruler of the Host hath it not, but am come among men to teach them something higher than that which they perceive in their earthly travail. I have come as Instructor, not as ruler, although by Mine instruction do I rule; I have come into flesh times beyond count, manifesting unto men what they may attain even through blinded and handicapped concepts of their present. I have shown them the way, the Truth, and the Light -- particularly the Light. Now we are come into this situation:

Men have said, There is no God! I say unto you, God in truth is Thought Incarnate, but in men's sayings they have meant there is no ruler to whom we are accountable. I say now, there are twenty million rulers unto whom they are accountable, for each species and kind hath its rulers, whether on planes of earth or afar in decimal space. Know that humankind is not the only manifestation of mortality. Planets beyond your ken have their species, and races, and cohorts, and potentates, dwelling in all sorts and conditions of livinghood and making practice of their talents according to their development of intellect. Verily animals are some of these, although far far down on the scale of intelligence, so far down that whole groups are required to express one psyche. But make no error in this: There is One God, in respect that there is a Ruler of the planetary systems -- an old, old Spirit, older than any of us have a knowledge. His comings and goings are marked by vast cataclysms so that stars do fuse and reassemble in His presence. Verily is He incarnate in the universe as ye do know the universe, yet doth He dwell in presence upon a far far planet, greater in extent than your minds can encompass. Behold I do go to Him for instruction at intervals -- a Living Entity who hath so great a power that for Him to speak is for Creation to consummate. Gods hath He in turn beyond Him, of similar structure, vastness and incomprehensibility, for the universe hath no end in majesty!

The foregoing, William, is one of the greatest expositions to be found anywhere in any earthly books. It clears up so much that was enigmatic in humanity's earliest scriptures. But it's not an attempt to imprint any pantheon of divinities on human thought. It's to express for mortal consumption the prospect to which all human growth is possible. Man starts out as a spermatozoon of consciousness -- or self-awareness -- goes into series of bodies and comes out again and again, grows wiser and more ingenious in individual growth and self-expression, attains to stronger and stronger command over the forces of the material world, finally graduates out and away from organic forms of expression and functions strictly in the spiritual, enlarging his Thought Powers to encompass more and more until ultimately he incarnates in whole universes, in manifestations of Power that the occupants of those universes will in turn consider divine. This is what is being implied in our sacred text when we hear it stated that man is really a child of divinity in school!

The question of Who began it all, and then, is something for study and discovery On Ahead. What we are looking at in these early papers of Cosmic Enlightenment is the thing that contrasts so sharply with the erroneous instructings of mankind hereinbefore. The stupendous damage that has been wrought in human thought has been the report that a majestic God first created the earth and the heavens, set the sun, the moon, and the stars to revolve about this Edenic planet, and at the end of a mere week of labor proceeded to the molding of humankind, the parents of all living, out of the dust of the ground. Having thus provided biologic man with an organic instrument, this God breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life, and Man became a living soul.

All of it was a pagan rationalism based on intellectual limitation, seeking to account for man's presence on the earth-level by some sort of tale that sounded reasonable. It was accredited because it was almost the first and only explanation confided to literature that affected to explain man's presence in the earth-scene. Men came to accept it because nothing else competed with it. No other religion effective in the world reduced down to such detail. And yet, withal, it reduced man to little more than a divine caprice of creative effort. Why God bethought to fashion such a creature and establish him in the Edenic Garden was never asked, in fact, it wasn't raised. God didn't have to do it. Yet here was a creation inexplicably lifted over the beasts of the ground or the fowls of the air, acclaimed as having dominion over them. Wasn't it strange that such thought was offered unless it contained some symbolism that was deeper than the words? -- not that such symbolism came of human origin! Then we have that additional intelligence that Man became a living soul by virtue of God's Breath animating the body with which he had been presented.

A peculiar racial tribe of Hebrews in the Levant inherited this hypothesis of humankind's creation and gradually came to impress it on the world, where it has been accepted as Cosmic Fact up the generations since. But again, and somewhat unpleasantly, we have it to ask: Why these Hebrews? Why should they come into such superlative information and all the remaining millions in the earthscene seemingly be denied it? Of their additional folklore and subsequent history we are not especially concerned. We simply express the significant wonder as to who and what they were that they should have merited such academic distinction?

At any rate, such rationalizing of mankind's first appearance on this earth-planet, directly created at the caprice of a non-understandable God but always with that derogation upon him of having been formed of the dust of the ground, has endured as the explanation religiously for the uniqueness of genus homo up the past 8,000 to 10,000 years. And six hundred to eight hundred millions of otherwise logical human beings still appear to subscribe to it. From the first and original contact between God and Man, the insinuation has maintained that Man is nothing, nothing! At least not much! That the breath of divinity filled his nostrils and resulted in life was relegated to a mere interesting but not overly vital incident. That business of dominion over the beasts of the field or fowls of the air gave him no special significance either as the centuries mounted upward. That dust of the ground insignificance was the thing that was emphasized. Whenever God was reported as coming back into contact with Man after the Edenic transgression, it was always in a deprecatory, belittling, almost disdainful attitude on the part of God. Man and his mate had sinned by eating of the fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and he and his progeny must pay the price for it up the remainder of eternal time. He must pay the price of suffering, so this primitive liturgy had it, for coming to know the difference between Right and Wrong. Just why acquisition of such knowledge should have been frowned upon by this non-understandable God, was never made clear. But a feint at it seemed to be contained in a side remark of Jehovah's when He said something about Man's physical dying if he gained to too much knowledge. Then a handful of verses further along we are treated to Satan's snide remark, If ye eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil ye shall not surely die, for God doth know that in the day that ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing Good and Evil, This is a fairly plain indication that the qualification of a god was ability to distinguish between good and evil, else why was it given such prominence in holy writ? The penalty for knowing too much about the ethical values was physical demolishment and extermination. We cannot call this symbolism and dismiss it.

The real thing that all humankind up here in the twentieth century has engaging it is the Holy Book opening with an utter degradation and derogation of Man as a created entity in the planetary scheme, and having impressed on the racial consciousness of his progeny that it has come into its ethical discriminations through divine transgressions. It is a sordid, negative, depreciating narrative of man's cosmic beginnings, slapping him down theologically before he has been given much time to view the created world and know it for its benefits as well as its detriments. It conveys that though Man may have been pure godstuff, his capacity for moral discernments accrued in result of transgressions . . which inferentially have never been forgiven him even up to the current moment.

We on the Higher Levels of Light have arrived at that degree of intelligent attainment where we deplore the whole sordid transcription from its first word to its last. Scarcely one statement in the whole Hebraic narrative accords with cosmic fact as we have come to comprehend it. The creature known as Man did not come by his organic mechanism by having any divinity fashion it out of the dust of any ground. There was no literal tree with fruit of knowledge of good and evil tempting Man to transgress any commandments of his Creator . . There was actually no first man or first woman. The whole of it has been an allegorical tale invented for a primitive people to absorb, leading to later glorification of their ethical mentors and authoritative priestly control over their civic and historical fortunes. When you gain to our heights of sentiency and see the whole drama against true cosmic background, you learn of an entirely natural and rational denouement of Effect from Cause and the attempted rehabilitation of a most peculiar strain or sect of cosmic spirits that concentrated on this planet back in Miocene times and have been working out their tribal salvations ever since.

Give today's Man in the Street the true and correct data of what happened on this planet back in Miocene times, or 394 celestial years ago -- the celestial year consisting of 25,857 solar years -- and he takes an utterly altered view or estimate of himself. By no means were his forefathers fashioned from dust of the ground, with God breathing into their nostrils the Breath of Life and arranging thereby for them to become human souls. Something of that sort might have accounted symbolically for Hebrews on some distant planet out in the solar systems but it by no means applies to the great rank-and-file of the human race overrunning your planet in the present. Etheric students who attempt to push back behind the range of recorded history, are convinced that where today's humankind has gone wrong in its thinkings and acceptings, has been in assuming that what applied to this ancient racial strain was universal for all human beings. One of the great reasons why there is almost no racial animosity -- commonly called race prejudice -- on the loftier echelons of Consciousness is because each race's traditions and culture are readily conceded as applying only to a peculiar portion of earth's human beings but by no means applying to all. Another racial strain may have had a totally altered cosmic history, or background, preserved in a different set of symbolisms. Because segments of each might have settled on your particular solar planet, by no means implies that all have originated in a common stock.

The thing that we lament, William, is the limitation of knowledge that denies the common man a factual knowledge of these origins. The Hebrew cannot help being loyal to his ancestral legends and counsel, and should be respected as such and permitted to work out his earthly destiny. But by the same token, so should the various strains of Gentiles. We propose to go to no small lengths with you in preparing data that changes the psychologies of the earth toward peculiar or distinctive peoples, making clear to all who read something of the destiny which each is working out. We, your Mentors, have no animus against the Hebrew -- just as we hold no animus against any race -- because we discern the background-origin of his raciality. But emphatically do we wish the Man in the street to become aware that what accounts for the Hebrew beginnings has small application to the human stock as an organic species, sustaining itself in the earth-scene by common expedients. It is the spirit individualism that counts. Confusing a hundred-and-one racials is the manner in which the Hebrew symboliam or allegory has been made the symbolism or allegorical story of Hebrew and Gentile alike. Acquaint the layman with the attainments of the other races, make him familiar with the civilizations, religions, and cultures that have distinguished peoples who have progressed even higher than humankind thinks of its species in the present, and the Garden of Eden episode becomes merely the folklore of one people. We have those with us here who can rebuild the Atlantean civilization for you, and even the Etruscan and Ardite cultures before that.

When the master-intelligences on our very highest octaves say that some major civilization arises and dominates the world completely every Celestial Year -- and sometimes two and three -- it means there have been over 394 civilizations dominating your planet, each one far surpassing anything known to your earth-world of the present. Actually the number is well over 1,000. Something like twice every celestial year your planet has a shift of polar axis -- the last one accounting for the submergence of Atlantis. Ocean contours are altered, continents are repatterned, mountain ranges rise and old ones disappear. Much has happened on your planet since the close of the Age of Reptiles. If the Man in the Street knew only a tenth of it, the whole significance of man's appearance and disappearance on earth, and reappearance, would cause him to be living by a more artful brand of Wisdom. A different system of philosophy would result from such enlightenment. We who are more familiar with
