About this ebook

This series of books entitled "Nostradamus" is a publication of William Dudley Pelley’s original "Soulcraft Fellowship, Letters from Home, The Nine O’clock Sessions, Survey of Probabilities, Purposes of the Infinite, Letters from the Heavenly Home and Halls of Light Illumination" representing over 1500 legal-sized, single-spaced typewritten pages originally written in 1955 but never published in its entirety before now.

This material, thought to be unique in Pelley’s writings, was channelled by him and mailed weekly to his subscribers in five-page sets. One unknown individual in Washington State assembled these sets (minus issue #1) and bound them into the manuscripts. We at TNT Publishing obtained the manuscripts, digitized them and are publishing them herein, beginning with Letter Number 2.

While the majority of this material was received psychically from Nostradamus, other Steller historical personalities also "tuned in" to provide (absolutely awesome!) knowledge and valuable communication while Pelley was in contact with Nostradamus, Democritus, Henry Ford, Benjamin
Franklin, Thomas Edison and others...

    The Process Bringing Master-Souls into Life, to Head Great Revaluations in Society

    DEAR EARTHLY COLLEAGUES:

    "WORLD Morals, I would say, is the biggest theme that can be dwelt upon in any series of public prints in the weeks, months, and even years that lie immediately ahead. Not morals as finicky dictates of prudish customs of any sort, for Morals, from the old Latin mores, mean only customs or usages of standards of performance. The world needs a thorough reclassification of international morals as morals, convincingly put forth, described in stuccato . . I was going to say brevity but mean really distinction, with a clear picture painted of what a truly renovated moral code could mean in the joustings of the tournament of the races. But do not let yourself get drawn again into racial performance -- or animosities or ambiguities. Races, my dear colleague, are not important excepting as supporters of rules of behavior based on geneologies!

    "Races have their purposes in bringing forth epitomizations of mass character standing for definite specifications of fair or foul play, righteous or unrighteous treatment of the individual. Conscientiousness toward the individual would be the best description of why races are what they are, from the Black man shouting in his jungle demanding primitive satisfactions or voicing his own aboriginal hungers or desires or yearnings, up to the most sophisticate cosmopolite whose culture is already an aloe or cider in his taste.

    "Try to depict these various races as standing for mass achievements to date, as I have referred to before and as you have competently written in many of your Scripts, keeping your eye again, I say, strictly on China as the question-mark of the coming Seven Years but by no means the great question-mark of the coming 43 years. It is a Master-Mind's job to envision what could happen if all races got what they were meant essentially to represent in the earthly scene -- not conquest of one's neighbor, grabbing his cashbox, his daughter, and his hearthrug but speaking of achievements scientific, cultural, and to a degree religious. I mean an examination of the races, making clear what they are and how they stack up in the overall ensemble. This is a great need right now in the world's philosophic contemplation. No one has done it at all concisely, clearly and adequately. It ought to be done in such a manner that even a child knows what a race stands for and evaluates it accordingly. But when I say what a race stands for, I mean what a race represents in its achieved moral culture to the moment along with the standards you have already publicized: the earth-plane as effected or presenting in materialism.

    "There is so much to be done in clarifying issues before a gigantically muddled middle class that one is appalled to contemplate it. But the public really grasps what is being aimed at, and sees clearly its own relationship to the whole -- a job of gargantuan analysis, we might call it -- that the outcome cannot be anything else but beneficial to world thinking. It doesn't take great encyclopedias or rehashes of history to realize or bring to actuality; it takes a sufficient amount of cleverly recited documents in which analyses are recorded with the appropriate and adequate tenderness -- meaning delicacy or super sensitivity. Let us contemplate the entire forthcoming year of effort along these lines. Let us strive to make this series of Weekly Letters so attractive that the whole world notices what is being said and identifies the sound reasoning and constructive possibilities in what is being advocated. We don't want to be iconoclasts. We want to be builders, constructors, architects of men's highest destinies on the plane on which they find themselves. Yet I'm trying sincerely not to be too idealistic. I have some constructive criticisms to make as well ..

    "You do not seem entirely aware as yet that a goodly group of persons came into life at about the same time you did, to succor and sustain you in this current gesture you are making as preface to Armageddon. I mean succor and sustain you as leader and spokesman. Not that they were to do your work or necessarily to spell your personality, but they had responsibilities which they were supposed to shoulder. They were given moneys to pay over to you that you might do what was exacted at the time the commission was bestowed on you. I would include in this week's letter to our kin abroad in the earth, therefore, some remarks of value on the Process Bringing Master-Souls into Earthlife to Head Great Revaluations in society . .

    "The Real Millenium is a Niagara of new concepts,

    Man is to grasp suddenly his location in God's completeness;

    The Dark Ages end on that afternoon of Christ's Appearance,

    Millions now alive will perceive this wonder . .

    "Now these volunteer helpers have been in anticipation of a great event showing up in human affairs, for a great many years. It really has been the Coming of the Great Crisis that ꞌboils off' in the next Seven Years. But as these people have come in contact with the world and the problems of life and destiny, they have forgotten their obligations and left you in an embarrassing situation. We think of them as your Official Family, members of your psychical group who should be mightiest at your shoulder at this time, not picking and skull-breaking as so many appear to be doing. You had the makings of a group here a year ago that was supposed to step forth at this time and really command circumstance for you. But its members, many of them, shirked and defected and defaulted and demerited, not only in a shameful way but in a more or less disastrous way to themselves in the months and years ahead, and to the no small detriment of the work which the group was expected to accomplish. Understand that no penalties are exacted by higher authorities for this sort of shirking or incompetence. It isn't that kind of a compact. But great will be the remorse of those who have shamefully reacted to worldly pressures, and gone on their own capricious bypaths . . if that gives you any gratification. I say we are sorely tried by expecting to have people on the earthside executing the wishes of the Higher Commander but behaving instead as though they were petulant children or vindictive lads with -- to use a tournament term -- ꞌa button to break' with circumstance. Reducing this whole massive work to a commercial status and glorying in their ꞌpracticality' can only make them appear as sorry creatures when it ultimately comes home to them what damage was wrought by letting their earthly desires, pleasures, and conveniences take precedence. ꞌIf I had only realized!' they will moan to themselves in secret. 'I was called to the Highest Pinnacle, but my money, and dependents, and worldly scores came first. Thereby did I elect myself to remain in the ranks of the Nobodies. On my own head be it!' My dear colleague, let me talk to you tonight about some serious aspects of the work ahead, if I may call it that . .

    "When the world turns upside down, my brethren,

    Strange are the exhibits that come to the top;

    Those in the highest places by connivings

    Are to fall almost to a man, .. so mark it!

    "It is difficult to get across to kin on the earthside what to do in the face of Manifest Destiny. I mean Natural Events, or events that could not be thwarted or gainsaid in their effects upon humankind. You have put yourself in a position of beggary or cajolry for the Lord's Work, neither of which is commendable -- beggary in solicition of alms to carry out that which must be accomplished and cajolry when it is not returned promptly to those who never gave entirely but with, as men say, a string to it. I watch from week to week and observe when this upsets your equinanmity, which obligates me to labor against such confusion on your part. For in such a state of alarm the Mind seizes on and aggravates all types of rumors or petty malfeasances and magnifies them up to grandiose proportions. But harken to me carefully --

    "The proposals I want to make you tonight concern not your own roles in the coming Program so much as the Program Itself -- a general outline of what I see ahead, more particularly in its beneficial aspects to the human race as a whole at this critical point in the centuries. The human race as a race is due to undergo many sufferances to teach it sounder sense in public affairs. I do not mean a political education in the old-fashioned morals of Church and School. It goes without saying that integrity in any kind of public office is the best administration such office can get. I am speaking of things the public needs to have 'rammed down its throat! -- to use that expression -- so badly that the memory of them sears and burns within the human conscience for a good many decades to come.

    "Men value money for what it hath cost them to possess it,

    Men value Government for exactly similar reason;

    I say the dramatically unexpected shall perturb them this year,

    Those who seem elected may be thwarted in their offices.

    "You think that if trouble developed in the Near East of a military nature, or if China marches westward embroiling the nations she contacts as she comes, the whole exploit must end in some sort of atom-bomb holocaust. That would mean a distraught populace on this side of the globe, a general atmosphere of apprehension and alarm, and a mass resentment at that which interferes with orderly processes of life. All that in a measure would be true, and weaklings would be eliminated in that they are weaklings, with the stout of heart persisting in the roles their own prescriptions have cast for them. But over and above all these passing phases of such military adventure is a Higher Something that requires to be recorded on humanity's conscience to stay recorded. I choose to name it, Integrity to Self! Particularly does it apply to compatriots who had entered life when you entered it, only to defect on you when your need for them was greatest. As worldly demands on their assets took precedence with them and they treated you as canker on their material complacence, what they really displayed was lack of Integrity to Self. Ordinarily only those characters known to possess it beyond question are admitted to big commissions; indeed it is well-nigh the Master Qualification. Thus is defection in this regard the most reprehensible thing that a soul can bring in indictment of itself. Men who have been allotted wealth that the Lord's work may be financed but deem their own pursuits the greater, are faced by the evidence that they lack self-integrity. How, in the face of such default, can they come to ask another time for divine responsibilities? For half a thousand years shall recollection of it be as tar and ashes in their mouths.

    "Beware those on Higher Levels who take dictates unto themselves

    Saying which is Right or wrong for humanity to pursue;

    The Drama of the Ages is forecast inexorably,

    Some souls achieve heights only that falling they may learn!

    "The height of an office may be only assay of character,

    Perhaps it may be penalty for wrong performance;

    God can cause one to perish and another to resign,

    But Empire's course sweepeth onward unaffected.

    "Now much of this sounds much like an old-fashioned school homily with a vengeance, on which a thousand Sunday-School lessons could be written, Integrity to Self! But in the way I am looking at it, or the sense in which I'm employing it, it means more than a pretty maxim implying self-honesty. Do you know, my dear colleague, you are suffering right now mentally and spiritually from violation of the very thing I am talking about on the parts of certain colleagues of yours of whom a different nature has been expected?

    "It is a strange fact of human life that certain soul-spirits go to the Higher Guardians of Humanity and make application for enlistment to mortal regions. This is something you should bring to the attention of your pupils. There are soul-spirits that go to the Higher Commanders of all life on this planet, especially over political or civic life, and apply for enlistment to serve their mortal fellows -- as we might say, 'for soldiery on campaigns among humankind which are to be waged for lasting benefits to the race as a whole.' Know this, dear kinfolk: It is demanded of them first what they think they can contribute by being present in any sizable dramas worthy of the events to happen, They make answer after the nature of their own spiritual attainments or capabilities as human beings in former crises of life. They have been through this or that in earthlife previously, learned this or that or think they have learned it, and left it, as they assume, with the benefits of experience implanted in their characters. They argue after a fashion that if they are permitted to come back into earthlife when still greater crisis impends, they can prove unto themselves how much proven value their earlier experience has been to them -- also what their expanded spiritualities are in result of what they have gone through in the past. They say 'I feel capable of doing so-and-so. I want to prove up to myself how greatly my past opportunities for ennoblement have really affected my character -- the Eternal Me that is enlarging and expanding and climbing and attaining. If I can be permitted to go back into earthlife for a period, especially such a period as I understand is slated for humanity in the given coming period and play this role or that role, I can do two things: Prove up to myself what my character really has become worth under extremities of circumstance while, secondly, at the same time discharging karmic obligations as well as proving up what I have learned permanently. I pay off my karma to others, I prove to myself that I have really put experience permanent profit.ꞌ

    "Sometimes there are lengthy, interesting, or highly intriguing sessions between the soul-spirits thus requesting reentry into earthlife under propitious circumstances and the Higher Guardians of humanity who have such arrangements in charge. Understand, they are not necessarily great souls in any sense of past performance, who make such requests or apply for such privileges in order to test out their actual self-improvement. They are people who are 'betwixt and between', between mediocrity and celebrity, persons who are in doubt about themselves and wish those doubts proven or disproven under test conditions.

    "Now all arrive at such points in their cosmic careers, and it is well for us to digress on this because it is a lesson which many in earthlife should be reminded of. Countless cases come before what I'll term Boards of Equity up here daily and hourly. 'I want to go back into earthlife to do so-and-so. Why? Because I think I'm capable of it but the only way I can be sure of it is to be exposed to the experiences, rigors, or vital consequences of what I decipher as apparent.' These people are well-intentioned, pitifully earnest, pitifully sincere, pitifully commendable in their desire for opportunity to do what they want. All right, we'll say a given Board considers a man's past experience could stand him in good stead in a new lease on mortal opportunity to show what his past endurances have really meant to him. It is discussed, of course. He has a sort of questionnaire period to go through. He seems prepared mentally, we'll put it, for many of his probable adventurings and having his attention called to possibilities of suffering as well as success. But a truly great soul, a proven soul, a soul that has earned its accolade beyond question in earlier worldly crisis, does not require to undergo such examination before a Board because his examiners are too familiar with his character as a whole. On the contrary, the truly great souls are solicited by the Boards of Control, or the overseers, to go into earth-life and head up this or that as earth's times are propitious. Some do it reluctantly. They have no stomach for it, as the English saying goes. They hesitate to take unto themselves the voracities of worldly entanglements with evil souls who use the world terrain as their tilting-grounds, claiming all the opponents and victims they can fell. But the aspirant soul, the soul who feels its moral vigor as a youth feels his adolescent vitality, will ask easily for certain commissions and get them. However, it is a practice Up Here -- and take note of this! -- that when such opportunities or circumstances erect themselves and a great Master-Soul is solicited to head a movement or a turnover in world affairs, there will be a host of aspirant souls who ask to share that particular adventure with the great one. It may not necessarily be under his aegis, supervision, or tutorage -- as the Master Soul has no particular time for tutoring amateurs. There will be certain conditions arrived at or entered into, that if the Master-Soul goes into life to serve in a certain capacity, others will be admitted into his aura of activity to serve with him as colleagues. A colleague is one who pursues a given aim in affairs with another, with a common objective in sight which they are striving to reach. I suggest the term can be traced to ꞌCollegeship of Intentꞌ . . they all belong to the same College of Event with a definite aim in view, the Great Master doing the main exercise and his aspirants getting his reaction to the labor as a labor . .

    "Thirteen have stood as conspectus of an augury,

    Forty-eight have measured that augury's fulfillment;

    One hundred and twenty-nine -- mark those digits! --

    May be the division of those who keep the faith with prophecy!

    "Your America is a turnstile on the Highroad of Perplexities,

    Which shall rule in a transient period over Error?

    Three Great Ones shall design the spoor of the Infinite,

    Which shall tread softly or which Malign the Infinite Pathway.

    "All right, permission is given such colleague to enter life. He goes through the portals of birth and acquires his physical instrument or vehicle, and we'll say brings it up to maturity. All the while in the background of his eternal mind he will be conscious of some great tournament-day ahead when he must go his own joust and break his own lance. He expects something big of the future. He cannot describe it or put it into words, but in the background of his consciousness is a point-of-vantage which he is supposed to reach, to stand upon, to look at the world from; it colors all his days and nights, his comings and his goings, his seekings and his deployings. There is something-on-Ahead. He gropes from point to point trying to discover what it is and when he is supposed to reach it. He feels that when he does reach it, he will know it and exclaim ꞌThis is IT!'

    "Now we will say that in the growth
