Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph.Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

PARTY, LOVE, CHRISTMAS

With the quiet stand mixer humming and mixing in the background and the sound of the quiet Christmas songs playing too, Percy stared wide eyed at all the streaks of cake batter, sprinkles and flour everywhere. Percy just stared at the beautiful mess in the kitchen. He wasn’t sure why he thought it was beautiful, but Percy hoped this mess was going to lead to something magical.

As he stared at the beautiful mess, he shook his head as he breathed in the heavenly scent of the sponges baking in the oven, already for him and his best friend Megan to decorate and assemble for the Christmas party tonight.

Percy could already taste the amazing vanilla and chocolate sponge in his mouth, it was going to be amazing. At least all the baking stopped Percy from worrying for a few moments about the party.

The party wasn’t anything grand, it was a normal Christmas party with all the friends and colleagues from his new job in Megan’s office. But that didn’t make Percy feel any better, he had barely been there a week, and now he had to go to a party!
