Less worried about her bright red lipstick than getting lost, Mandy Hansen pulled her bottom lip into her mouth as she studied the map of Holiday Beach, Florida. It was messy and hand drawn, but it was labeled with all of the tourist hot spots. At least she assumed that’s what those weird stars were trying to denote. Everything had been so rushed when she left the mayor’s office that she hadn’t had a chance to ask.

She raised a hand to shade her eyes and glanced up at the cross street. She was on Pineapple and 4th, so that meant she needed to turn right and go three blocks to find the nearest star. Or was it left? Right...She was never very good at maps, but she crossed her fingers and turned to the right. Maybe someone there could explain what in the world was going on with the map. It was branded with the town’s logo, but certainly they had something better than this.
