    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my beautiful mother and father, who conceived me and raised me to the best of their ability. My village of loving supportive friends and family who encourage, motivate, and inspire me to do better and want better for myself. My God, the creator, who gives me chance after chance, and loves me unconditionally. Every person who has crossed my path, and the trials, tribulations, successes, and failures have all contributed to the experience and strength that it took to endure the process of transformation that has turned my whole life around. Standing in my truth is not easy, but the benefits are priceless. Now the best, which was purposely saved for last, my children. Sometimes we do not see eye to eye, but I love them with all my heart. I aspire to be the greatest inspiration to my children, who have suffered at times in my journey. I publicly apologize and vow to be the best I can be in the here and now. A Rose Through the Crack is the story of transformation, inspiration, and motivation, but stay tuned, because I am still a work in progress. My hopes are that my transparency will inspire self-exploration that can lead you to the path of change and greatness.
