About this ebook

Thirty-eight-year-old Rachael McAdams lives with her husband and two young children in a two-story, brick house in a small neighborhood. She’s heartbroken because her eight-year-old son, her firstborn, lives with autism. The boy can’t talk and wears diapers, probably forever. She wonders where God is. Maybe he could heal her son.

Desperate, Rachael calls out to God using a forbidden name, a name that is sacred and only used in deep prayer. Soon after, she begins hearing strange voices and seeing demons. She truly questions her sanity. Rachael is trapped in a world not her own and struggles to do what’s best for her family.

Book of Hope 2, a religious fiction novel, tells Rachael’s story of her battle between good and evil.

    Introduction

    Sometimes stories

    are best told early.

This book is about Susan Hoffman. It is a compilation of her stories about her friend Rachael McAdams. Susan was obsessed with Rachael. You see, Susan lived a good life. She had a husband and a son. You would think her life was complete. Yet something was missing from it; something wasn’t right. She wanted someone to talk to, someone she could feel close to. So she began searching, and she found Rachael. She bumped into her one day and instantly knew this person was unique.

Rachael’s life was not too different from hers, but Susan could escape her life through Rachael. When Susan talked about Rachael, she felt freedom and excitement. She envied Rachael and all her struggles simply because Rachael wasn’t her. You see, Susan never wanted to be Susan. She never felt right in her own skin. This story talks about the many times Susan lived out her life through Rachael. In Susan’s eyes, Rachael became her, and she became Rachael. But was it worth it for Susan to take on all of Rachael’s problems? After
