    Introduction

This is a fictional love story of a hardworking young woman, Janie Williams, who meets a no-good, lazy young man, Terrell Peterson, known as Mr. T. The young twenty-five-year-old woman wants so much out of life; she had graduated high school. She had just finished her four years of college at Morehouse University with her master’s degree in business. Janie worked so hard to achieve her heart’s desires and dreams. Terrell was raised by his single dad, Terrell Sr., who taught him how to take from the women. He would tell his son, Let the women take care of you. He told his son, Women would do anything for you. You just have to know how to work them.

Well, this was all Terrell Jr. knew and all he saw growing up. His mother wasn’t anywhere around, there were different women in and out of their house all the time, and there was no woman around giving him any women advise—how to treat a woman or what to expect from a woman, as a woman.

In part 1, Janie and Mr. T breaks up after being engaged because he was cheating on Janie. Janie’s parents and her Divas did not like Mr. T. They knew there was something about him they didn’t trust, but they couldn’t put their finger on it.

In part 2, things change. Janie’s business is booming. Terrell’s life has changed. He admits to cheating, and so did Janie.

Even though this is a fictional story, so many women and men today can relate to this love story. Love will blind you. Only those outside looking in can really see it and see the abuse, the pain, and the disrespect.

It can be seen by the one living in it each day, but because of love, somehow, the hurt, pain, and disrespect just don’t seem to be as bad as it really is.

Love is something every human being desire and long for. Love has caused so many men and women to do some real crazy things. Tina said, What’s love got to do with it? Well, some would say nothing at all; others would say everything. Nevertheless, truth be told, we all want to be loved, respected, and not taken for granted.

A relationship is a give-and-take situation. We’ve heard it said, and we have been told that relationships are a fifty-fifty partnership. However, it’s not 50 and 50 percent. Why not? Because sometimes you have to give 75 percent and sometimes 100 percent.

In a serious relationship, both parties have to be willing to give over and above and take more than you want to. Be willing not to have everything go your way all the time. You can’t be selfish in a serious relationship.

Whenever you are in a relationship, you need to be clear on what type of relationship you are in, and you both need to be very clear of that relationship, not assume.

Is it a monogamy? This means you are having a single long-term sexual partner, like being married to one person.

Is it a polyamory? Meaning you have multiple long-term sexual partners or married to multiple partners.

Is it a polyandry? The marriage of a woman to multiple men.

Some people are not looking for a monogamous relationship. Some people want to be in a relationship with a married person, so they don’t have to be committed. They can send them home to their spouse.

There are many different types of love. The love for your spouse is one type of love. Then there is love for your family members, a different type of love, and love for friends is another type of love.

In this love story, you may find yourself having gone through some of these same incidents or situations. You may find yourself crying, laughing, or none of these.

What people seem to forget is that you reap what you sow. If you do dirt, dirt is going to come back to you. If you do good, good will surely come back to you.

I really believe that everyone loves to cuddle up to a good romantic book to read.

I hope you really enjoy Me and Mr. T: Part 2.

    Divas on Vacation

The Divas had been plaining this trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, for a while. They finally set the date. The five Divas—Janie, Karen, Kesha, Christian, and Paige—are on their seven-day girls’ trip to Hawaii. They rented an Airbnb house with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Janie: Good morning, Divas. Am I the only one up? Hello.

Karen: Girl, we are on vacation, why are you up so early? You don’t have to go to work, go back to bed.

Janie: I am not sleepy, I can’t sleep in.

Karen: Well, you are the only one up, I am going back to bed. I will see you when I wake up.

Karen goes back to her room.

Janie: You all are sleepy heads, you would sleep through the whole day if no one woke you up.

Janie goes in the kitchen and cooks herself some breakfast—bacon, eggs, grits, and potatoes. She grabs her orange juice and walks out on the balcony of the house and eats her breakfast and enjoys the beautiful scenery.

Kesha: Good morning. Yummy, that smell’s so delicious. The aroma woke me up. I am starving. Did you make everyone breakfast?

Janie: I only made enough for me, I didn’t want to waste food. I didn’t know when you Divas were going to wake up. I would have made breakfast for everyone if everyone would have been up.

    Paige: Good morning.

    Christian: Good morning.

    Janie: Good afternoon, Divas.

    Kesha: Hello, Divas.

Paige: Everyone’s up and have eaten?

Janie: Everyone but Karen, she woke up earlier just to tell me to go back to bed, and she went back to bed. I was going to make everyone breakfast, but no one else was up.

Kesha: I know its lunchtime, but I can make breakfast for anyone that wants some.

Paige: I am going to make me a sandwich, thanks.

    Christian: What are you making?

Kesha: Bacon, eggs, grits, and hash browns.

Christian: Can you make me some bacon? I am going to make me some pancakes. I can make pancakes for anyone that wants some.

    Christian: I am good, thanks.

    Paige: No, thanks.

Karen: Hello, Divas. I slept so well. I will take some bacon and two pancakes, thanks, ladies.

The Divas eat and get dressed in their swimsuits and cover-ups and go to the beach. They are on the beach for hours. They have tickets for a dance show tonight at 6:30 p.m. on the beach.

Janie: I am going to start getting ready, Divas, our show starts at 6:30, it’s 5:00 p.m. I want to get great seats, so let’s get there earlier than the start time. If you all don’t want to be there early, I can go and save us all seats.

Karen: You all can save me a seat.

Paige: That’s works for me, Janie.

    Kesha: I will be ready.

Christian: I will go with you, Janie.

The four ladies get to the show. The weather is absolutely gorgeous. The sky is beautiful. The torch lightings are lit all around the beach, and Hawaiian music is playing. The people are starting to arrive for the 6:30 p.m. hula dance show. They find excellent seats right up front for the five of them. Janie drapes her shawl over a chair to hold for Karen.

    Kesha: Here comes Karen.

    Christian: It’s about time.

    Karen: Hello, Divas.

Janie: Hi there, you look beautiful. I love that color on you Karen.

    Paige: Hey.

    Christian: You made it.

    Kesha: Hey, girl.

Karen: Thanks, Janie. Thanks for saving my seat. They haven’t started yet, so I am right on time.

The dancers came out at 6:30 p.m. and begin the hula dance. As they move their hips, they roll their stomach, feet, and hands to the music, and everyone is clapping, shouting, and cheering. The show is over at 7:30 p.m. The ladies are walking to their house, which is off the beach.

Janie: That was a very nice show.

Paige: It was, I enjoyed it

Karen: I enjoyed it, I wish I could move like that.

Kesha: Yes, it was a nice show. I know right, girl, me too.

Christian: Awe, I can do that. You all can pay me to do the hula dance.

    Karen: That’s all right, Christian.

    Janie: I will pass.

    Paige: Me too.

    Kesha: Yeah, I will pass.

Christian: You all just jealous, look.

Christian starts trying to do the hula dance. She shake her hips and moves her hands and her feet around on the beach as they are walking home.

    Karen: Nope.

Janie: Nah, that don’t look like what they were doing to me.

    Paige: Nope, me either.

Kesha: Nowhere near what they were doing.

Christian: Whatever, you all wish you all could do it.

Karen: But, Christian, girl, you are not doing anything. We all can do that, move our feet and hips, roll our stomach.

Everyone is laughing and talking as they walk to the house. It is still early, not even 8:00 p.m.; the night is still young. The girls are discussing what they can do. Some want to go to the club, one want to go to the movies, and some just want to relax.

Kesha: It’s still early, anyone want to go to the club?

Janie: I am going to just relax on the balcony.

Paige: Let’s go to the movies.

Karen: I am with Janie, I am going to sit on the balcony and enjoy this beautiful view and enjoy this breeze.

Christian: I will go with you to the club, Kesha.

Kesha and Christian both go to the club, Paige goes to the movies, and Janie and Karen sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and breeze.

It’s midnight, and everyone is home in their bedroom except Kesha and Christian. Karen comes out to see if they made it home yet.

Karen: Kesha, Christian, did you all get in yet?

Janie: I think they are still at the club.

Paige: I didn’t hear them come in. I got in at 10:30 p.m.

Kesha and Christian comes in at 2:30 a.m. and go to their bedroom.

Karen: Good morning. I am cooking breakfast for anyone that’s up and wants some.

Paige: Good morning. I am up, I will take some breakfast. Thank you, Karen.

Janie: Good morning. Yes, I will take some breakfast. The two night owls are still sleeping. I heard them come in at 2:30 a.m.

Karen: I didn’t hear anything, I was out. I have been sleeping really well.

Paige: I didn’t hear anything either.

Janie: I went to the bathroom and heard them coming in.

The three ladies eat breakfast and are sitting around talking and laughing. Then Christian comes out and joins the conversation. After about an hour, Kesha comes out and joins in on their conversation.

They have tickets for a shark diving tour this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. It includes, snorkeling equipment, going up close with sharks in a cage, learning
