A special thanks to
my family and friends for all your support.
(OUR FIRST KISS)
I never would have imagined that it would be like this
I never dreamed of falling in love after just one kiss
I never thought in a million years that I could love so hard
What an unexpected Blessing to receive from God
And every time that I hold you and look into your eyes
How humbled I am to see an extension of my life
This feeling of thankfulness that’s come over me
Is truly a feeling that I thought I never would receive
Now I truly understand that delay does not mean denial
What a wonderful gift from the Father above of a beautiful child
I have loved you way before I even gave birth
The one male that I will forever love on this planet Earth
I promise to be all that I can with the Father as my guide
Instilling in me all that I need in order to provide
Love, protection, understanding, and the bare necessities
To well equip you for life to fulfill your purpose and dreams
I promise to give you all the love that my parents gave to me
How truly Blessed I consider myself to finally be a MOMMY!

MESSAGE
Well, here I am three babies and six years later. Charles and I have got ourselves three little boys. So, no Chloe, like I was hoping. Charles Jr. is six, Chad is four, and Cadence is two. I’ve really got my hands full and he wants a girl, I don’t think so. He’s been trying to convince me to do it and get it out of the way. I told him let’s at least wait until they’re all in school, then maybe we’ll try and then there’s no guarantee that it’ll be a girl anyway. If I do decide to have another one, that will be the last one; boy or girl. So, I’m popping birth control pills as if my life depended on it to control the population.
Our businesses are doing great. Financially we can stand to have as many kids as we want, but my body is taking a beating. I’ve managed to whip myself back into shape, after every birth, but it’s been difficult. After having Cadence, I told Charles the doctor has seen my pussy just as much as he has. He told me I’m crazy, but it’s the truth. Our marriage is wonderful. We love our boys and we both have the understanding that family comes first. Charles is home by six every day and I’m home by five. We have our disagreements, but nothing that rocks the boat. Right now summer has just begun and the boys are all home with us. Thank God Ella is still with us. She’s taking care of Cadence for the next couple of months, until after the summer, then it’s off to school for him too. She loves the boys to death and they love her too.
My girlfriends, they’re all doing just fine. Grace and Tracy got married about two years ago. We all flew out to New York with them and witnessed the ceremony. It was really nice. They’re doing excellent. Grace opened up her own law firm and Tracy is now a registered nurse. They’ve decided to have a baby and they’re now looking for a sperm donor. Tracy’s set on the idea of a sperm bank, but Grace would rather it be a family or friend, so she knows what she’s getting and who can blame her, since she will carry the baby.
Janine bought my house. She went back to school and got her doctrine degree in psychology. She doesn’t hear from James and her mother-in-law, Ann is her back bone. Janine is dating someone. She’s says it’s nothing serious, but we’ll see. Ann loves Janine and Essence. Ann goes to see James every once in a while, but not too often. He swears up and down he’s a changed man, but you know how these dudes are when their asses get locked up, they can sell a dream to an insomniac, but ain’t nobody falling for that shit.
Nikki and Lance are finally tying the knot. Yep they’re getting married and I have to say that we’re all happy about that. Lance’s son has really helped her open to the idea of having another child. Hell, I keep telling her she doesn’t have to do that she can have one of mine. She’s steadily climbing the ladder of success. She now has a position with the company she works for in their corporate office and she couldn’t be happier. She has a wonderful man in her life, with a child that she’s grown so attached to and a great job.
Laura did a 360 turn around. She is now utilizing her accounting degree. She works with Grace’s Law firm. She’s making her money the right way, although she says the other way was much easier, because she didn’t have to use her brain. I tell you she is something else. Her daughter Lindsey graduated from college last year with a degree in journalism. She decided to reside in New York after graduating from NYU. Laura’s relationship with Lindsey is wonderful. She goes to visit and sometimes Lindsey comes to visit her as well. Laura has been behaving herself. She’s supposed be practicing abstinence, yeah right.
This weekend my cousin Kerry is flying in from Houston, Texas for a couple of weeks on vacation. Kerry is my deceased uncle’s daughter, my dad’s twin brother. They called him Lenny short for Lenard and my dad Benny short for Bernard. I told her to come and crash at my house, but she said my mom and dad had already made arrangements for her to stay with them.
Kerry and I were the best of friend as little girls. She’s a couple of years older than I am. I cried when she left me. Her mom got married and they moved to Texas and I haven’t seen her in over thirty years. We’ve talked, emailed, texted, and skyped a lot, but it’s not the same as seeing someone in person.
Well, I’m on my way home and it’s the weekend baby. I dropped the boys off to Charles’ parents this morning on my way to work and they will be there the entire weekend. They have wonderful grandparents on both sides.
I can’t wait to see my cousin Kerry. It’s gonna be just like old times. I know the girls are going to love her. My mom and dad are on their way to pick her up from the airport. We have so much catching up to do. Her timing couldn’t be better, because this is our girl’s night out weekend. We are going to party.
CHAPTER 1
While pulling in the drive way I got a call from my hubby.
Hey baby,
I said.
You home?
I just pulled into the driveway.
I was thinking of picking up something to eat.
That’s fine baby.
Did you want anything specific?
Whatever you bring is fine with me, baby.
Okay, I’ll see you shortly.
I went in the house and called to check on my boys.
Hello Claire,
his mom Geneva answered.
Hey, Ma’.
Now how can I help you?
Ooh, what did I do?
I just got off the phone with your husband.
O-kay.
He just called to check on them and now you.
I was just calling to make sure they’re not driving you crazy.
They’re just fine. They’re out back with their grandpa.
Give them a kiss for me.
I will and Claire; don’t call us we’ll call you. Relay the message to your husband too.
Okay, Ma’,
I said chuckling.
I hung up the phone, then went and showered. I put on something comfortable, grabbed the mail, and copped a squat on the couch to open it. The majority of them were bills. I grabbed the check book, so that I could get to balancing. That took me about twenty minutes and by that time Charles arrived.
Hey, baby what you doing?
I was balancing the check book.
Oh, okay.
So, what did you decide to get?
I stopped by the Caribbean restaurant and got some jerked chicken, oxtails, peas and rice, and plantains.
That sounds delicious.
Dang.
What happened baby?
I should have picked up some dessert.
We have key lime pie in the fridge.
You can go ahead and eat baby, I’m going to take a shower.
No, I’ll wait for you.
I took the food out of the containers and put it on plates. I sat the plates on the dining room table and grabbed some drinks; a beer for him and a wine cooler for me. He got out the shower ten minutes later and we sat down for dinner.
So how was your day, baby?
he asked.
It was pretty nice and yours,
I replied.
It started off a little rough, but ended up being okay.
What happened baby?
The lawn mower that Donovan was using broke down, so I had to load up another one and take to him.
That doesn’t sound too bad.
No, but I had to drive for like an hour and a half to get to him and then an hour and a half back.
That must have been nerve wrecking.
It was, but we had to get the job done. I even stayed to help out a little since we were behind time.
My poor, baby.
I haven’t been out there in that heat like that in a while, but I handled it though.
I can see you got a little sun today.
Yeah, I couldn’t wait to get home and take a shower. I had to go back to work all sticky and sweaty.
Well you tell Donovan, you can’t be out there in that sun getting all sticky and sweaty like that; that’s my job.
It damn sure is baby.
I talked to your mom about an hour ago.
Did she curse you out?
No, but she was about to.
Yeah, she gave me an ear full.
I was just calling to make sure they weren’t driving her crazy.
You know how she is about her grandchildren.
She told me not to call her, she’ll call me.
That lady is a mess.
Leave my mother-in-law alone. I love that lady.
And trust me she loves you too.
I wonder if my cousin made it in yet.
Trust me if she did your mom would have called by now.
No sooner than he said that the phone rang. It was my mom calling.
Tell me she’s here,
I said.
She sure is,
a voice said back.
It was Kerry. I was super excited to hear her voice.
Well, hello cousin.
Claire.
Kerry!
Hello, Mrs. Taylor.
How was your flight?
It was good.
Well, we’ll be right over.
Okay, see you when you get here.
We finished up dinner; had a little dessert and I ain’t talking about any of that key lime pie either. We showered, got dressed, and then headed out to my parents’ house.
So how long has it been since you’ve seen your cousin?
Thirty-five years at least.
That’s a long time.
Yeah, I know. I can’t wait to see her.
I know she can’t wait to see you either.
She would come and visit every summer when we were little.
So the two of you were pretty close?
Closer than you know and everyone always said we look alike. I guess so when you’re two brother’s daughters.
We drove for another fifteen minutes, before we finally reached my parents’ house. I hopped out of the car and made my way to the door. Just as I was about to ring the bell, the door swung open and there was Kerry. We grabbed a hold of one another and just stood there in the doorway for about two minutes crying.
Alright, alright break it up,
my dad said.
Okay, come on in here,
my mom said.
We went inside and made our way to the family room. We hugged once more.
It’s so nice to see you,
I said.
The feeling is mutual,
she said.
This is my husband Charles, Charles this is my cousin Kerry,
I said.
Nice to meet you,
Charles said as he gave her a hug.
Nice to meet you too,
Kerry said.
You two look just alike,
Charles said.
Everyone told us the same thing when we were kids,
Kerry said.
I know I was just telling him that in the car,
I said.
Wow,
Charles said.
In some uncanny way with the exception of me having a few inches on Kerry and her being a shade lighter, we could almost go for twins. We hugged one last time and took a seat on the sofa.
So how was the airport experience?
I asked.
It was good,
Kerry answered.
How is your mom?
I asked.
She’s doing pretty good. She told me to tell everyone hello,
Kerry said.
I can’t believe you’re actually here,
I said.
Well, believe it,
Kerry said.
We had been talking for two hours, before my mom threw us out. She said that she was tired, and Kerry needed to get some rest, so we said our good-byes and headed home.
It’s amazing how much you two look alike.
I know right.
That’s crazy.
It’s so nice to see her.
So can I get some more dessert when we get home?
he asked as he touched my hot spot.
You most certainly can.
We got home and changed into our pajamas. Charles went into the kitchen to get some key lime pie.
I thought you wanted me for dessert.
I do want you. I’m going to put this slice of key lime pie on that pussy and eat it off.
Somebody help me, please. This man’s sexual appetite is so strong it don’t make no damn sense. It’s a good thing I’m popping those pills, because I would have been pregnant with baby number four right after number three. I don’t know what it is, but my pussy starts pulsating when he’s around. I love my husband and he damn sure loves me. We had our little sexcapade all over the house. The boys were away and it was our time to play and play we did; upstairs and downstairs. We pulled an all-nighter. I woke the next morning exhausted in a good way. I went downstairs and made breakfast. Charles was still asleep when I finished cooking. I went upstairs and woke him up.
Baby.
He didn’t move.
Baby,
I said as I gave him a kiss.
He kissed me back.
You’re not sleep.
Nope and neither is he,
he said as he put my hand on his penis.
You’re so nasty.
I can’t help it if I’m attracted to my wife. You shouldn’t be so damn fine,
he said as he smacked me on the ass.
I love you, baby,
I said as I kissed him.
I love you too, beautiful.
Okay, let’s go eat I’m hungry.
I’m coming let me wash my face.
I washed my hands, went downstairs, set the table, and fixed our breakfast. I poured us a glass of orange juice and sat down.
It smells good in here,
he said as he sat down.
Thank you, baby.
I’m hungry too.
I wonder what the boys are doing.
Call my mom and find out.
So she can chew me out, I don’t think so.
But your mother-in-law loves you.
And I want to make sure she continues to love me.
Well, then I guess you won’t be calling her.
I guess I won’t; you know how your mom is when it comes to her grandchildren.
Yes, I do; I’ve got to go in this morning for a couple of hours, baby.
Really, babe?
Yeah, there’s some paperwork I need to look over.
But I don’t want you to go.
I don’t want to go either, but I have to baby.
Okay, I guess I’ll go pick up Kerry and we can do a little shopping.
That’s sounds like a good idea. I know you guys have a lot of catching up to do.
Yes we do.
Well, I’m going to get dressed and head out,
he said as he kissed me.
I love you, babe.
I love you too, beautiful.
I called my cousin and told her to get dressed. Of course when I got to my parents’ house; she wasn’t ready. I had to wait about fifteen minutes. My mom and dad were out and about as usual. Since my dad is officially retired; they can’t keep still. I thought they were on the go before, but now they’re hardly ever in town. They even took the boys on a couple of trips with them.
Okay, I’m ready, Claire.
She locked the door and we left.
CHAPTER 2
I can’t wait to see the boys.
You’ll see them soon enough.
I thought about having one.
Well you’d better get to it. Your clock is ticking.
Ticking, my time has run out.
It can still happen.
I know, but I’m not trying to have a child from just anybody.
I know that’s right.
For me that’s a no no.
I was fortunate to find a man like Charles.
He’s fortunate too.
I know, but I almost blew it big time.
Well, God worked everything out for the best.
Amen to that!
I love this SUV.
Thanks. Charles bought it for me after I had Chad. I wanted something bigger, but not too big, so I went with the Porsche Cayenne.
He spoils you.
Being happy is what it’s all about Kerry. These material things don’t mean a thing to me, as long as I have my husband and my boys; that’s all I need.
I apologize about not making it to the wedding.
No need to apologize for that, you were going through a rough time. How is your mom feeling these days?
Wonderful, she’s cancer free.
That’s awesome.
Yes it is.
I’ve missed you so much, Kerry.
I’ve missed you too, Claire.
It’s been so long,
I said.
Well, these two weeks I’m here, we’re definitely going to make up for it.
That sounds wonderful,
I said with tears in my eyes.
Don’t do that; you’re going to make me cry.
Okay,
I said smiling.
Now that’s better,
she said.
I thought we’d start our day by doing a little shopping and then some spa time, before we head out tonight.
Head out where tonight?
One Saturday out of the month me and my girlfriends get out and let our hair down.
Ooh, that sounds like fun.
You have no idea.
I can’t wait.
We made our way to the mall, purchased a few things, and then headed to the spa. We got a nice massage, a facial, a manicure and pedicure, and waxed everything we could think of. Well, Kerry did anyway. Charles would kill me if I got rid of the hair down there. He loves playing in it and I love when he plays in it too, so I will not deprive him of that. Some men like it shaved and some men don’t. I’m so glad my husband isn’t one those men that that like it shaved. I’ve tried shaving before and it itches like hell when it grows back. That shit is so irritating; it makes you scratch like a dog with fleas. We were all pampered and ready to go.
I’m kind of hungry.
So am I, Claire.
Okay, let’s grab a bite to eat.
I headed to Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Aventura. The food there is delicious. We ordered a large cheese pizza, a couple of salads, some meat balls, and couple glasses of wine. We chatted until the food arrived.
So does Charles have any brothers?
He has one, Donovan.
Okay, so what’s he like?
He’s okay. He’s wonderful with the boys.
That’s great.
Yeah, he’s younger than Charles though.
He is?
Okay, now I don’t do no match making.
Well, just hook something up and I’ll do the rest.
But you’re only here for two weeks.
I know. I’m not looking for a husband, just a friend, Claire.
I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks.
Our lunch came, we ate and I dropped her back off at my parents’ house.
Be ready by eight.
Okay, see you tonight.
It was now around three o’clock, so I headed home. When I got there my hubby was home and Donovan was there too.
Well, hey there brother-in-law.
Hey, sis.
Where’s Kerry?
Charles asked.
I dropped her back off at my parents’ house.
Donovan was looking forward to meeting her.
Oh, he was.
Yeah,
Donovan said.
Well, maybe we can all have dinner tomorrow night,
I said.
Cool, I’m there,
Donovan said.
I’ll let her know tonight,
I said.
I’m gone get out of here and head home. I’ll see y’all tomorrow.
Okay, bruh, be safe,
Charles said.
See you later Donovan,
I said.
"So, did
