Poetry is my healing tool so I’m ordained to share my gift with others. The dialogue in this book of poetry was derived from everyday living and the struggle we face as human beings. This book covers love, past experiences, betrayal, secret and lies. Life is but a journey for those willing to take the adventure.

Hoping this book is an invitation to all readers as my emotions bleed in ink. Writing is lyrical, has rhythms and often rhymes. Amid these pages you will encounter verses wise... verses sad... verses funny... verses witty... sentimentals... strange. You’ll encounter poems to move you... amuse you... some confuse you... some to add zest to the mysterious process of living. Lyrics submerge deep into thoughts constructing poetic vision. Words place themselves in their proper order giving feelings and a voice that captures hearts giving thoughts to unspoken feelings. I listen to every word emotions erupt into visions. My selection is directed.... by poetic decisions.

My valuable ink spills without fear equally validating every feelings. Spitting these lyrics in a diverse array. Unapologetic feelings stands on display I say what I mean and mean what I say.

In the life of being a poet.... I inhale words, and exhale poetry. Poetry is when an emotion has found, it’s thought and the thoughts has found words according to Robert Frost... There are no secrets so I respect and embrace the truth and speak it. Set fire to my pen... about Life, Love and Loss. Caressing pen on paper fondling words with into sentences, wetting minds with verses.

Psalm 23 Paraphrased

The creator of all things is the one who cares for and protect me

I want for nothing which He will not provide to me

He places me in settings of calming beauty

He leads me to peaceful places and restores my life energies.

He proves his reputation by guiding me to be more like him and share in his intentions

Even when I find myself in the most horrifically hopeless of situations

I won’t be afraid of any malice befalling me, because I know He is with me

His ability to protect me is unparalled and comforting to me

He actually prospers me in full view of those who would do me harm, if they could

He lets me know how special I am to him by gifting me in order that I might help others.

In someone’s darkest hour, when no spoken comfort can be heard.

Just as words can hurt, they also can heal.

Positively and inspiration - breed emotional development and mental prosperity

Expose your heart with words

Lyrical intervention and as you serenade your soul

Behold an overwhelming surge

When you read your heartfelt words

Words so precious to hear

Words that could fight fears

Words to instigate the flow of tears

But most of all to help a smile reach the ear

And highlight the level of a heart’s care

But how can one word, make us change in midstream
