About this ebook
Savannah Watkins’s poetry, letters and prose. Savannah’s
writing has a way of laying itself on the table, unafraid of
judgement, and letting the reader take what they will. This
book starts at a very low, frigid point: complete loss of
oneself and hope. Throughout the journey, love for life and
humanity is regained. Phoenix Rising is a raw, honest and
very real walk through life that reminds you to listen to the
trees and find your light.

Author’s Note
There is no poetic way to tell you that each story you’re about to read came from a place of hurt. I lacked grace and understanding, I still do. This is a collection of my open heart. Some parts may not make sense, some are letters or journal entries, and all were written from a heavy heart. I do not tread lightly with my words. My hopes are that this book helps
