CHAPTER 1
SHADOW MAN
Every morning, John always stares out his window at his neighbor Martha, leaving for work. She had a Nicole Kidman smile that just made him say, Damn, why can’t I date a woman like that?
John had a crush on her since she first moved in.
He would snap photos of Martha to save for the night whenever a rise came along. He called himself a nymphomaniac, living with his mom, a single parent. They were quite wealthy, living in a mansion that was left behind by his father, Richard.
John always helped Owens—the husband of his mom, Kathy Owens—around the house. Ever since his dad died years ago, he would feed her, do chores around the house, and mow the lawn when needed. With the property being a twenty-seven acres and 10,000 square feet in Buckhead, GA, it was a hard job for just one person to handle.
So, he half does the job to lead a productive company to help preserve the lawn. Meanwhile, John hears his mother calling him for breakfast. Instead, he continues to develop photos of Martha.
John, breakfast is ready,
she shouted.
Be down in a minute, mother,
John replied.
He develops one last photo and races downstairs. He sits down at the dining room table. Before exiting the kitchen, mom leaves a plate for John. She had made his favorite breakfast meal: turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, and fluffy pancakes. And of course, a tall glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. As John puts a finger to his lips, about to lick them, he hears a knock at the door. Frustrated that his breakfast is being interrupted. John gets up to see who it is at the door.
He is shocked to see Martha on the other side of the door, so early from work. She was standing there naked. It had to be a dream. Martha was seducing him by rubbing on his private part and licking inside of his ear, causing John to have a wet dream.
Oh, Martha I can just imagine you being my wife,
he says to himself/
So insecure of you,
Martha replied, sexily, in a way that suggests passion.
John, sexy baby. Mommy wants some dick,
she continued, pulling him closer.
Make love to me all-night
John stared with a charming smile. Then, he awakes with his face mushed in the pancakes. It was all a dream. He realized how much he was obsessed with her. Later that afternoon, 5:30 eastern time, as John is finishing chores and taking care of his mom, he finds himself sitting near the window of his room, looking through his binoculars and seeing Martha arrive back home and enter her house.
Martha undresses herself near her bedroom window. John appears to be loving the view of her
