    The next few days was one laced with anticipation. John never left the hospital from that day forward. He made a promise to Monica to never leave her. Leaning over the bed, John wiped Monica's forehead while talking to her.
    John pulled up a chair and explained what happened that night a year ago. "I received a call from Pam when they rushed to the hospital. You had a fractured skull, broken ribs and two broken arms and legs. Internal bleeding and a punctured lung. Doctor Reynolds didn’t know if you were going to make it or not."

My goal is to get my poems out, help others cope with mental illnesses, and start a podcast to further educate the world on these issues by providing an in-depth look in my life as someone who battles mental issues.
