The Building
I believe the building at 207 State St is haunted. Odd things, evil things happened there, and yes, I think it was the building. Some of us could feel it and be affected by it. If the others were, they never said anything. Funny, now that I think about it, of the forty-two apartments in the building, I had only met five of my neighbors. Were the others hiding or unaware? Here are the stories of three of the apartments I know were affected, including mine.
Apartment 101
My husband, Dylan, and I moved here in the middle of one of the hottest Julys, and it
didn't help that I was three months pregnant. We loved the apartment at first sight. Dylan liked that even though it was on the first floor, it was high enough no one could get in the windows.
Right after we moved in, Dylan was deployed to Afghanistan. I loved our big picture window in the living room, so I would sleep in there to wake up early and open my blinds, then I began to sleep a lot. When I would get up, I wouldn't want to open the curtains. I started sleeping in the bedroom to see if that would help, and at first, it did, but then I got sick. I would have these massive headaches from the moment I opened my eyes; before I even moved, my head would start
