SOMETHING IN THE ATTIC features four stories ranging from comedic to thrilling. The four stories are “The Hunt”, “Voyeurs”, “Something in the Attic”, and “Epic Gil”. “The Hunt” follows an unnamed escapee as he tries to lose his pursuers on a far-off planet. Will he survive the arduous journey? “Voyeurs” tells the story of a lovelorn painting during an art gallery robbery. What could a painting do to protect the one it loves? “Something in the Attic” is the story of young Rico who has been sent to discover what is making all that noise in his elderly neighbor’s attic in his small mountain town. Can Rico muster the courage to face his fears and enter the attic? Finally, “Epic Gil” is the authors reimagining of the classic myth of Gilgamesh. Transported to a modern setting with Gilgamesh taking on a role more akin to a modern superhero, the story follows Gil as he is taught a very important lesson in humility.
