Hannah’s mum speaks out She’ll be beautiful FOREVER

What do you want to be when you grow up?’ I asked my toddler Hannah.

‘Beautiful!’ mine and my husband Lloyd’s bright little button declared with a smile that lit up the room.

As she grew up, our daughter’s dreams for the future changed.

There was just a two-year difference between Hannah and her brother, Nat, but she loved fussing over him.

‘One day, I want to be a mum!’ she’d say.

Fast forward, aged 19, Hannah was teaching gym to kindy students at our local Police Citizens Youth Club when she met Rowan.

A single father, aged 30, he’d brought in his son for vacation care. Smitten, Hannah dubbed him ‘hot dad’. Sweeping her off her feet, he treated her to a whirlwind of fancy dinners and weekends away.

But when I met him, his charm didn’t work on me.

I didn’t like him. And the 11-year age difference worried me. Sensing my unease, Rowan tried hard to impress
