    In

loving memory of my mother, Muhdia Ali

Living your life like it has no sorrow

is waking up daily like there’s no tomorrow.

It’s up to you if you choose to borrow

but remember, the pill will be harder to swallow.

    Dichotomy

    What is a poet?

    A person who can rhyme?

A person who can make sense out of nothing?

Someone who seeks acceptance by blogging rants and raving about others within reason…

    What is a poet?

A human being trying his best to show knowledge in something in which he does not partake

while the audience snaps its fingers to applaud?

Tell me, what is a poet?

Is it a teenage girl who writes in her diary on a daily basis, ignoring all the rules of grammar?

    We are ALL poets.

    We can ALL show it.

A flow for the show we put on

    So just go with it.

A flow so sick we’ll have Ne-yo under the weather

    Professional or Indie in it

    Dot or feather.

The world is composed of these human beings who hide from the truth

But our pudding IS the proof

and while we stand as one or fall as individuals

We shall no longer be afraid to voice our opinions

or gather, furthermore, the real scoop

    Baskin Robbins are WE

31 flavors of God’s ice cream

And we can melt together in a pot
