Ameliorate is a poetry collection based on Experience for those Healing. The poems vary from structure to rhythm and cover key topics one has to go through as a new adult. Themes included consist of Depression, Family, Anxiety, Love and even Friendships. The poems are a negotiation of events and feelings where the reader will relate and to an extent feel their own emotions from their own experiences. This collection was made for people who don't have a voice or can't bring themselves to say what they are dying to say. From betrayal to embracing life these poems will relate to people. They are as one says 'deep from the soul'. My purpose in writing and publishing these poems was healing and finding myself to then helping the reader ameliorate their own situations. As the title states Ameliorate is by definition making something better which is what these poems aspire to do. An emotional range will be explored and harsh scenarios demonstrated, overall its a journey. A journey worth taking.
