    Introduction

I grew up in an abusive home where I didn’t know true acceptance or love. I was highly charged with negativity, brokenness, and rejection. As a child I felt powerless to be able to change my situation. I was suddenly plunged with the after-effects of the abuse into my adulthood. This caused me to live with emotions that were unmanaged. I did not have the wisdom on how to deal with various emotions. I was desensitized to my feelings. I was numb for a long period of time. I was unable to harness my emotions with an action plan. My life would have carried on with this self-destructive cycle. If it had not been for the merciful intervention of God.

The perfect one who dwells enthroned in heaven above. On August 1st, 2016 he personally revealed that love to me. It was the best counseling session I ever had. Since then my loving father has taught me many lessons on self-control. With discipline and a willing ear. God has given me tools on how to harness our emotions with better resuts. How to face them without making them permanent. Not just for ourselves but for those around us.

In my first book, Up from the Ashes, I wrote about the pain and the abuse I endured growing up. Writing this book became a major part of my healing. In this book I am going to share with you how you can overcome your emotions and be able to use them to your advantage. Even in such a short time God the father has given me strategies on how we can manage our emotions. Through knowing his love and our new nature in Jesus Christ.

I was given the direction of this book one night before I went to bed. I know now that God knew I was brave enough to speak His word and His messages without shame. So, my question to you is are you willing to break the destructive cycle of negative emotions? Are you willing to allow our loving father to bring you peace, and freedom in your life?

I am here to tell, with faith and trust In God you can and will learn the beauty of…

    CHAPTER ONE

    STEPPING OUT

G od created us to His image and His perfection. Even before we were even born, God had a purpose and a plan for us. To not harm us, but would give us a future and a hope.

He also knew that we could not do many things on our own. Imagine loving something so much; naturally you would want to put as much effort into your project. You would pour your emotions into your project. You would make sure that it was perfect. We strive for perfection in our emotions. Once we Step out of our emotions and into the love of God, we can learn how to control them. God’s love toward us is perfect in every aspect. We can’t grasp in our minds of the love that God has towards us.

When God created us, He chose our eye color, the color of our skin, our facial features, and most of all our personality. You might ask yourself, God took time to create my personality? Yes, He did! He took His mighty time with every single part of you. You are special to Him. He held you and poured his love into you. He gave you a name, and declared in the heavens for all to hear.

With my previous book, Up from the Ashes, I wrote about the pain and anguish that I endured. That eventually became a huge part of my healing. As children, we are gifted to our parents from God. When He has finished creating us, He places us in our mothers’ wombs. During our time in the pregnancy process we are growing, and now relying on our mothers. Nourishment is needed for us to survive. Typically, pregnancies can be considered full term at forty weeks.

Let’s pause for a minute here. Forty weeks is a long time for us to grow into God’s masterpiece. Our fingers, our toes, and our entire body grow. During this entire process, our mothers endure many emotions. In the meantime, as a growing baby, we have no idea what is going on outside of our mother’s womb. For a lack of better words: we have no worries or a care in the world. Before it’s time for us to step out into the world, the big event begins. The preparation, the timing, and the effort is extremely crucial for the child and the mother prior to the birth.

Once we have stepped out into this world, immediately we are checked by the doctors to see if we have ten fingers and ten toes. Then the time comes when we are placed in our mother’s arms. The emotions begin: tears of relief, excitement, fear, and worry.

As a baby, we now are under complete protection mode from our mothers. Then the relief sets in, the father steps in
