About this ebook
Sheri L. Vigil
I have been writing for at least a third of my life. Never having been classically trained, I practice what I call free-style writing. My poetry comes from what I am feeling at that moment and therefore the reader can, at times, feel which emotion I was feeling at that time. Writing has always been a great form of therapy for me. Through all of lifes ups and downs, I go to my pen and paper. When spoken words fail me, I express them in writing. With heart and soul poured into each line, I tell my story.

Unbridled - Sheri L. Vigil
How Long Must I Wait?
How long must I wait to find my true love;
The one with whom I’m meant to be?
How long must I wait to taste his kiss;
His lips touching mine?
How long must I wait to feel his touch
As he holds me close at night?
How long must I wait to feel his body;
Strong and warm against mine?
How long must I wait to smell the essence
Of a night of tender lovemaking?
How long must I wait to feel such passion
Coursing through my veins?
How long must I wait ’til God sends me
A man to love?
How long must I wait for the right time;
When I am his and he is mine?
I hope it’s not long,
For in all honest truth,
I shan’t be able to wait;
To feel his embrace,
To taste his kiss,
To smell his skin,
To hear him call out my name,
To see my love in flesh and blood,
To take me to a higher plane above.

40670.pngThe Ritual
He creeps into her bed at night,
And lays down naked by her side.
She waited for him;
Knew he’d come.
She knows that they will be together;
Becoming one before the night is done.
This form of lovemaking to come
Is nothing like normal mortals’ fun.
It’s a ritual performed by Carpathians.
He strokes her body up and down
Then gently touches her dark-haired crown.
He needs to coax her into submission now.
He needs to get inside somehow.
He holds her face between his palms.
He looks inside her mind and calms.
She’s waiting for him;
Wanting him.
He needs to keep her in present thought.
It’s so much easier ’cause she’s not fought.
He slowly takes control of her.
Until he feels her softly stir.
He settles himself along her length.
He feels her quiet, inner strength.
He kisses her cold and pale skin.
Now the Ritual can begin.
He slides his hand between her thighs.
He knows that cold-warmth there lies.
She clings to his muscled back.
There is no passion that she does lack.
He eases a finger into her depth.
She shrieks and sucks in her breath.
He feels her clenching the tiny muscles there.
He strokes her gently;
With tender care.
Mentally, he tells her to relax.
Gently probing,
Stretching her to the max.
She lets a moan escape her mouth.
Her response more precious than earthly wealth.
He kisses her full, parted lips.
He removes his hand and strokes her hips.
Silently, he urges her to let him in;
To a place where no one else has been.
Cautiously, she spreads her legs.
Without words,
She sweetly begs
For that awaited union she yet not knows,
But her hunger for it grows and grows.
She cradles him between her thighs.
She gasps when she feels his fully-grown size.
He assures her that all is well.
He fully inhales her feminine smell.
Lovingly, he kisses her mouth,
Then reaching down,
He fits himself.
He braces his hands beside her head.
She lightly sinks into the bed.
He covers her mouth with his again,
As he slowly slides himself in.
He swallows up her initial cry.
He remains still ’til he hears her sigh.
He lifts his head to study her.
Mixed emotions inside her stir.
Discomfort, confusion, wondering,
But her passion greater than anything.
He eases out a partial way,
Then pushes back in,
But he does not stay.
Gently moving in and out of her,
Silently, she starts to purr.
Gasping for air they do not possess,
He melts under her gentle caress.
Reluctantly, he picks up speed.
Obediently, she follows his lead
She grips his back and holds on tight.
She braces herself for his binding bite.
Inclining his head,
His teeth sink in.
White-lightning flashes beneath her skin.
Crimson flows out of her veins.
The white satin pillow beneath her stains.
She opens her mouth in an exquisite scream,
Her pearly fangs,
In the candlelight,
Gleam.
The warmth of her blood fills his stone-cold body.
Her still cold skin feeling rather oddly.
She finds her release;
That tingling peace.
She bites into his broad chest.
It’s this part she likes the best.
He lets out a triumphant shout.
’Tis now his release that trickles out.
Quickly, he licks her neck,
Before he’s completely taken aback.
Finally, he releases her mind.
Upon awakening,
His wounds she does find.
She gently licks them to close them up,
As he did to her,
Leaving four small bumps.
Now she lay there in excited wonder,
As she listens to
