Lack of Sleep

All the masked feelings.

Lack of sleep makes me cry.

How much longer can I survive?

Why won’t I allow myself to drop into someone's arms,

seeking help?

Is this pain something to be ashamed off?

Talking to my teddy bear, maybe he'd understand

Show my smile...Never let them know...

Be strong until I let go.

Afraid

I look at him...

tears forming.

Silent,

Afraid my burning heart will cause me to utter hurtful words.

Afraid he might see my wet eyes, see me weak.

Afraid he might see how much I need him,

how much I want him to run back to me.

Fading Shadow

Blinded.

It's bright, golden light

sorching my eyes.
