About this ebook
Experience the life of a troubled teen through her poetic eyes: the battles of love and loss, the battles with herself, and the conflictions within family, bonds, and betrayal. Follow her on a journey through trauma and curiosity and watch how the impact of maturing strengthened and broke her. Realize the relativity of topics that aren't normally discussed among others. Did you experience this? How did you cope? Can you relate?
If so, this book should shed some light on the aspect that you are not alone in this. Isn't it nice to have someone to relate to?

Withering Winter
Beauty sprouts out her skin like roses
Yet the dewdrops fall down her cheeks in despair
Nobody sees her dying petals
Hears the crunch of her withering hair
They can't touch past the surface
The thorns are too prickly there
She's wishing for water, her throat dry and bare
The wind blows her back and forth without a care
Soon winter will come
And no more will she grow
And she'll be buried under six feet of snow
She's so cold
Waiting for the sun too shine
Nobody sees her sprouting petals
Hears her stem expanding
She's learned to see past the surface
Her thorns are meant to defend
She sacrifices her water, her throat chakra deepens
The wind can no longer move her
Soon spring will come
And they'll see her grow
Her strength will soon show
Nobody's Perfect
We make eye contact, the sun shimmering off your pupils.
Like in the movies.
I forget what it's like to be alone.
Then they leave me, and everything darkens.
My fears tie me down as my anxiety suffocates me.
Waiting for your gaze to fall on me once more, I sit there and endure the suffering.
When your savoring eyes reconnect with mine, I come up, sputtering and gasping for air.
In these moments, I'll gently grab your face so I can be comforted longer,
Not wanting to go back under.
I have trust issues.
Fearing the world, I will conquer with you by my side,
Unsure if you'll stay to rule.
Cruel is what I will not be.
Instead, I'll be disarming all the cruelty
