Kuma is a wonderful dog that lives with his family on Long Island, New York. His family consists of Dad Jim, Mom Kathleen, Sister Sophina, Brother Vincent, Brother Jimmy, Brother Joey and last but not least Bella (our other dog). Kuma is an Akita and Bella is a Rottweiler. They love taking long walks and eating peanut butter. Kuma loves his family, and now that you read the book, he loves you too!

Kathleen is married with four children and two wonderful dogs. Her canine family members are extremely important to her and play a large role in her daily life. Living in the suburbs of Long Island, New York, allows her to walk, play, and write about her dogs. The children in the neighbood just love petting and talking to Kuma and so do we.
