Guy Hershberg: So here we are at home, like every day, having an interview. I want to start by asking you, what’s home for you?
Kalki Koechlin: Home? Oh God, we had a fight about this the other day! Home is you, of course! I guess home is a sense of belonging and that can change as you grow older. Different things make you feel that you belong to a physical place, or mental state, or to a person. It can really develop as you go along. Right now, I don’t have a physical home as I’m always moving around. So, it would have to be the love that I have and the family that I have.
GH: Has this belief changed over the last year?
KK: Obviously it’s changed, because I had a baby and the three of us have been in this cocoon, bringing up this child… it’s been everything. It’s been my life, it’s changed everything.
GH: So this year, work has been from home, too, and you have also been creating a lot of art…
