ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I would like to acknowledge my beloved husband, Joey Paul Slater who has watched and experienced my spiritual unfoldment during our twenty-nine years of marriage. A special thanks to my beloved, loving son, Christopher John Slater in whom I am well pleased for encouraging me every step of the way.
Throughout my spiritual journey, I have been blessed to have received guidance and inspiration from many spiritual leaders who have helped me grow spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically. A special thank you to the Holy Spirit for divine guidance. I’d also like to thank Dr. Kennard E. Davis., Dr. Herbert Beierle, Dr. Ellen Jermini, Pastor Stephen Arthur, Dr. Pearlie Arthur-Carter, Teacher Egbert Van Sertima, Bishop Maxton France, Bishop El Taylor, Chaplain Althea Cicero, and other spiritual leaders for their steadfast love and support. In addition, I would like to thank Unity School for Charles Fillmore writings on the Twelve Power Meditation, Pauline Howson for editing assistance, and Barbara Mc Cubbin for my vocal training.
To my dear mother, Ermin Eldora Elliott, my siblings, family, paternal aunts and uncles, and all my wonderful and dear friends, thank you for helping me to uphold integrity, love, and kindness. Everyone has kept me grounded. Thank you. I love you.
image1.jpgFAITHFUL GOD I AM
I will my life to germinate and grow according to God’s faith.
F aith is a deep sense of knowing and seeing things spiritually. As you hold on to this thought, automatically the universe will cooperate to physically manifest your innermost thoughts. Everyone is a cocreator of his or her life on this universal plane called earth. Knowing that we are directly connected to the all-powerful God, who manifests in and through us, is faith in action. We are spirit, soul, and body, and when these three facets are not in harmony, confusion is imminent. Faith is knowing that there is a force bigger than us that is operating in us; it is the I Am of God. Without this I Am present in us, there is no life. We believe this to be true since we can see that a dead body is lifeless. Can you imagine a corpse rising during a funeral? Just imagine it; everyone would run for their lives.
Faithful gods we are when we are connected to and follow the spirit of the Almighty. We cannot be faithful to man, who is limited. Knowing is believing as it pertains to certainties. For example, day will follow night. The rain will fall eventually. The sun will shine eventually. Scientists can predict the possibilities of various weather conditions. These are all based upon physical evidence. Faith is seeing ahead of time through our spiritual lenses before something manifests in the physical world.
Our blissful lives are dependent upon our belief in a supreme being. There is no peace, harmony, love, or true happiness without having a personal connection from within to a supreme being, God Almighty. Our body houses the soul, which houses the spirit. It is said that life begins from the inside out; this means that the spirit of the I Am within our souls must come forth as our guide and spiritualize our intellects, which influence our bodies. A chick must break through its eggshell to live. Similarly, a fetus must exit the womb to be born.
Exercising faith has to do with having a thought and thinking it through as a picture is formed. Then a feel energy called faith is attached to it before it can be manifested. This feel energy is in the womb. God, in his infinite wisdom, knew that the womb of a woman would bring forth his creation. God created us with a thought and formed us into living souls. All interventions start as thoughts that connect to our souls and give light to our creative minds through feel energies. Many good and beautiful ideas die because we do not continue the process of thinking, feeling, and manifesting because we lack the faith to persevere.
There are some immutable facts that are often confused with faith. For example, if someone stays underwater too long, they will die; this is not faith but a fact. Saying that all students can learn is a fact and not faith since all human beings can learn through different modalities. We control our destiny with the help of our master builder, God. If you believe that God is in you, then you will have the faith to follow wherever the spirit of the living God leads you. Why? The Holy Spirit knows all things, and it will lead us always in a positive direction. We can all relax and live abundant lives if we walk by faith and not
