Have you ever arrived at a point in your life when you have done everything possible offered by the human mind, yet you never seem to find the peace in your heart, the balance in your life, and the love you want to experience all around you?

Life seems to be a mystery you have tried to solve so many times, yet this puzzle never seems to be solved. The cry of your soul is yelling louder and louder. Some days, the hope seems to have vanished, and you cry so hard for Him to listen.

This book is intended for you, the reader, to actively engage with, experience, feel, and become excited by the stories and experiences we will share about life, love, hope, prosperity, faith, and God. The stories we share in this book are intended for you to connect with, feel and find your own dialogue in your own private life with God.

This book is being written from both an emotional and a believing state of mind, meaning that we have chosen life experiences that tell you about success, faith and actively engaging in faith, but, from an emotional standpoint, the feeling of the heart was involved in these experiences.

The truth can be viewed in many ways once you observe it from your mind, especially if you try to rationalize everything. But there is nothing to compare to the truth the heart feels because the heart knows in a simple and clear way what the truth is.

We hope these experiences touch your heart, influence and inspire, empower and strengthen you to hold onto hope, trust, and belief and to actively believe in God as a Father, a friend who is actively interested and engaged in your life, for your own success and prosperity.

Join us for a once in a lifetime journey.

Prosperity through Living Active Faith - Dr. Shirli Regev

The Cry of Our Soul: Active Faith

Faith, hope, love, and trust are the most fundamental qualities of our lives, for without them, all we will ever do seems worthless, has no purpose, feels empty and meaningless.

We can have faith and trust in a certain person that were earned over a period of time. However, as humans, we are mortal. We have weaknesses, have our own lives and challenges to deal with, and we cannot and should not live our lives for others.

However, God has proven a myriad of times to us all, both at the exodus and on Mt. Sinai, that He exists and controls the whole world, from the largest to the smallest of things and details.

He is also actively engaged in each and every one of our lives, as He created us, is responsible for us, takes care of our health, sustenance, relationships, big and small events, circumstances, etc.

The ultimate goal and purpose of our lives, according to Kabbalistic teachings, is that we should not only come to believe in God but also come to trust Him to the point that we place our lives willingly, out of our free choice, in His endless hands, and that we form a relationship with Him and actively bring Him into our lives.

ACTive faith is our ability to do and act based on our beliefs. For example, your dad told you to buy a new jacket on credit and that he will pay for it. You purchase that jacket, based on your dad’s promise to support your buying it and to pay for it, even though you do not yet have the money in your hands.

The same applies to God. You place your trust in him, since He sustains your very being, body, soul, and spirit with every breath you take. You take certain actions, such as relying on your memory in exams or in your everyday activities like buying a nice home, based on your belief that things will carry on the way they are today. You take a mortgage from a mortgage company based on your belief and faith that God will provide you with the ability to pay it back every single month for the next twenty years.

Usually, you feel that you need God during times of distress or trouble, when things have not yet worked out as yet or when you are in the middle of the process, not at the end of it.

However, you should always feel gratitude to God, whether you are at the beginning, the middle or the end of the process. You should also continue your relationship with Him after you have achieved your goals!

Moreover, at times we stand in awe when events and circumstances happen differently than we anticipated or when they go exactly as planned. This is called PRIVATE SUPERVISION, when you see a special intervention in your life that you did not expect.

This includes dreams that leave you with a deep impression and symbolism that were prophetic and came to announce to you issues about your future life. With time, you start to connect the dots and see God’s hand in your life, present and working, guiding and navigating, even when it’s dark, unpromising, and against all odds.

We see it as our part of our personal mission to empower everyone, no matter their level, race, religion, or gender. We meet people where they are. We believe that when we are able to include the different among us, we are fostering inclusion, the act of including or the state of being included. This allows us to express spirituality in its best meaning, teaching, guiding and mentoring the good values of spirituality.

First, when people come to us seeking spirituality, our role is to instruct them in the skills of seeking. Seeking is an active act of a deeper desire and wish of the soul to find answers, to discover, to unravel and create one’s own life from a more spiritual perspective. It’s the soul’s cry to its Creator!

That is what the person came for, or what brought this person into our lives, as a mirror of our own inner seeking.

Second, as teachers and mentors, we will focus on more general skills and develop the individual’s mind, body, and soul. This is what we love most about mentoring and spirituality, which is an ongoing life process of creating and discovering.

Third, our role is also to motivate individuals in the process of change, to help them see the way and to build hope and trust in the process.

Throughout history, human beings have sought the greater divine power. They want to connect with Him, if possible to hear Him and to see that He is there for them. We have evolved in all the major religions and cultures around the world to understand and acknowledge that man-made objects or any mortal human cannot be the super power. Modern science has proven the consistency and harmony of all of the laws of nature.

Wherever you look, you will see the endless above human intelligence and compassion of God present. Whether you look into nature everywhere around you or into your own body, you will see the endless hand of God there. Just dare to look and find Him in your personal life experiences and the world around you.

If you just dare to look, you will see and find God present in your life more than you have ever imagined.

    Connecting the Dots

Life’s happiness, health, fulfillment, and mystery were and still are one fascinating journey that connects all humankind. Everyone, from rich to poor, tall to short, different cultures, genders, and religions, has in common the need to achieve something in their life.

What determine one’s ability to be a creator of one’s own life? Besides freedom, purpose, and an ability to choose is the human ability, capability, and character that one chooses and is able to create.

When you visit a place like Disney World, you are exposed immediately to the world of imagination where everything seems possible. The American dream, in which the sky is the limit and we have the freedom to choose and be who we wish to become, sometimes makes some of us miss what we so greatly wish for.

For example, visiting New York City, the place we call The Big Apple, can help us connect the dream to reality. It’s a city where everything is in the fast lane, a place where you can find people who run after their dreams and goals, and where others on that path have realized that they don’t have what they need and end up giving up not only on their goals and dreams but also on themselves.

Either you make it or you break it—that is, either you do it or not?—bring us to the point that either we use our lives or lose it!

Where is the Hollywood dream where we can become everything we set ourselves to be?

On the one hand, you can see people in Hollywood who have made it to the big time. People like us, who had a dream and took the opportunity of their lives and moments to do everything they can to achieve it. On the other hand, you can see homeless people who once had a dream and are now chasing their next meal and spot to sleep.

At this point in time, life seems to be unfair, brutal, hard, impossible to live and, for some, to even dream of. We feel that we don’t want only to be observers of life and its circumstances. If you are a seeker reading these lines, you are probably wondering where is the missing part. Meaning that we can put life into action, so we can be a producer rather than a visitor and observer. Where our life will look and feel as we were meant to be—living and creating.

In many ways, in stories and even actual movies, our lives in many ways are comparable to a movie we see in the theaters. Going to Universal Studios can help us connect the dream and the reality. What makes us become and be in the story? What skills and tools do we need to perform our own show?

Looking behind the scenes helps us make the connection to the dream:

When we watch behind the scenes, we are exposed to the path and the preparation that were done to create the dream, or the movie. We can see the way the stunt men perform their actions and convince our senses to believe in what we think we see.

We can also see that the house in the movie is just a decorated set and we see only the part that contributes to the dream we are being fed.

In the journey to discover how movies are being made, we can realize that the movie was produced in a way that will ONLY speak to our senses. The producers wanted to create an inner image in our imagination that will make our eyes and our senses believe in it and that will affect our feelings.

So many efforts, actions, actors, and resources are focused into the dream. What we can take from it from the perspective of observers, in order to become our own life producers, is that life is a whole big movie and mystery that we must be part of.

You are the main actor and producer of your own movie. Therefore, in order to make your life the best movie that you can create, you must supply yourself with knowledge, tools, skills, an open mind-set, resources, and support to ACTivate your spiritual code, and create prosperity.

There are no other lives in this lifetime that we need to live beside ours.

A big misunderstanding exists in society about religion and spirituality.

Knowing yourself, owning your actions, owning the learning process (the ups and down)—that is spirituality! You don’t really know others until you are brave enough to deal with yourself. Otherwise, you might hear the words, it’s not my fault.… Knowing your spirit and how to support yourself with every challenge you face—that is a soul and spiritual work!

Like from our birth and any new job we take, we need skills, tools, and sometimes a different way of looking at what we think is so real in order to approach things differently. Spirituality today can be defined in many ways, but one thing is for sure: spirituality is dealing with the unseen Source of our lives. It’s the core muscle we are searching for to empower us, so we will be and feel fulfilled, at peace, able to advance our lives in all aspects and focus on growing even further spiritually.

You see, what we observe as counselors is that people lose motivation when they have no WAY, when they feel they have no choice, when they don’t have the WHY and the HOW. Spirituality belongs to all of us as humans becoming; we receive it on the day we are born.

Spirituality is our ability and capacity to perceive life in a spiritual way and to attain the skills and tools for our spiritual evolution, our self-development of better attributes, manners and values. It’s our private and collective journey in this world. It includes what we did do, will do and, most of all, are willing to do with our lives.

Religion is a different story; if it’s taught right, it can support all of that. You can be a spiritual person and not religious or be a very religious person with no spirituality in your bones. Religion for us is what supports us to celebrate our personal values: family, integrity, honesty, and being a part of such an amazing world. It’s more about the religious practices and sense of belonging that gives us our personal stability and therefore serves good in our lives.

Of course, if you can merge spirituality and religion together, you will have a more complete path and journey. They do not oppose each other; rather, they complete each other. We must emphasize that all the major religions in the world stem from Judaism as given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. All of them agree that there is one God who creates, maintains, and supervises our lives every day in every way.

All we need to do is lift our eyes to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars and realize the simple truth that the same one God who created and controls all of these huge entities also creates and controls your life with compassion and love for your own better purposes.

ACTivating your spiritual code is all about discovering, acknowledging, creating, empowering, and choosing your actions, thought patterns, feelings and mind-set. It’s all about your actions and choices from the smallest one to the major ones.

You have only one life to live. Start with yours, and start right now.

Join us on a meaningful journey to activate your spiritual code.

    Dr. Shirli

Since a very young age, I have considered myself different, not because I wanted to be, but it was just how I felt at that time. I had so much energy and will power to do something, something that I navigated and wanted to be significant…significant for me and, moreover, for others. I believe today, looking backward, that the chicken and the egg were together. One is to be seen and acknowledged but also the deepest need to be noticed and known.

Anyone who sets high personal goals must work toward them. All goals have a price if they are mental, physical, emotional or spiritual, because some movement must occur to go from one point to another. There is energy and forces we must push, like working out at the gym; you acquire strength when you work with—and sometimes it feels like against—resistance.

When you work with resistance (again, spiritually, mentally or physically), you are peeling layer after layer from your skin, from your old to the new. Unfortunately, as humans we tend to seek, change or at least look for solutions when we are in despair, when we understand that if we will not do anything, then our life, our reality and our self will feel stuck or deprived.

One of my spiritual awakenings was when I was a very young girl. I questioned life, my surroundings and my personal God many times. I wanted answers, solutions, and understanding about why people and the world are the way they are.

No one around me in my environment had the answers or the openness to seek and search for what I was looking for—a deeper understanding of God and life. My natural solution was to get busy. As a young girl, I just got busier with sports, amazed by the possibilities that our body can achieve and also challenging my spirit to a higher evolvement. As I saw it then, it was, Not to be afraid, to achieve more physical and mental strength… I wanted to win myself over and over again. I liked that when you put your heart and soul into something, you would see results. At least that is what I believed then.

What I didn’t understand then was the spiritual quest I was on.

When you put your heart and soul into something, it will transform you and your reality into something else…and not only yours but also others’.

Later in my life, these challenges manifested in my life in many ways, such as physical injuries, sickness, relationships, career, and even spirituality. They were all connected, but at that point, I didn’t have the skills, guidance and readiness to see the connection above. It was my spiritual journey that seemed to be found. To understand first my own spirit, desires and Who, after all, has a hand in all matters of my life.

I trusted people, trusted myself, trusted my path, and trusted objects, all in hoping to gain some certainties and safety. Do you know how sometimes your electric appliances at home start breaking down, become damaged or just stop working, one after the other?

It’s those times when you ask yourself, what’s next?

Or even better, some lessons come back to you and you yell from your heart—enough! What now?

In this mind-set you always stay a victim or think that life happens to you, and it’s just too much.

In my life, I definitely gave all I had to whatever, whoever and wherever I was. I invested time, energy, sweat, intentions, and many tears doing the best I could in what I chose. But at certain points of my life I stopped, because I understood that whatever I was doing was just not working. I realized that if I just kept on pushing, I would eventually not only destroy myself but also pay a great price with my own spiritual being. Those points in my life left me lost and confused. Moreover, sometimes they left me with a sense of betrayal starting with my own body, relationships and life.

I didn’t understand why things work the way they do, but, over the years, I have definitely learned that not everything that feels real is true! That people are just people and each one of them sees life and reality from their viewpoint. Moreover, what is clear to me is not clear to others, and their spiritual understanding is different than mine. Not that theirs is better or the opposite—it’s just different!

So that led me to understand that it must be something else, there must be someone else who knows better, who better controls things, the show of life and the universe. I learned to seek, ask, and cry my soul out.

    You might ask, to whom?

I think I was not also sure then, but I knew that I definitely didn’t have the answers.

I learned to sing, to sing my own song and my heart out. I realized that God is the only true friend I have who that always welcomes me to His heart.

You might ask, How do you know it’s Him?

What makes you be sure He is there?

I remember driving my car and wondering, Who am I now?

What I am going to do with my life?

Why does XYZ not understand me?

    Where am I heading?

And finally, most importantly, What can I do to change my life, to make it meaningful for me, to feel peacefulness and quiet within my soul?

This was a time when I couldn’t keep all my fears, vulnerabilities, and secrets inside, even from myself. So I started to exploring for myself all kind of spiritual studies that all made sense to the point I was at those times.

How do you know when something you learn is good for you?

How do you know that what you think really is the truth, or at least your own truth?

When you don’t feel you need to hide anything, when you feel that the new knowledge sits within you in peace, you have no guilt, shame or blame for yourself or others—you know you are in a good place.

You take ownership of your life and its outcome, so that you feel that even if things are challenging you, you have the tools and skills to solve them or at least handle them. You know that the people you seek to brainstorm with don’t want to make you dependent on them; rather, they want to empower you.

When I was sick with chronic fatigue syndrome after exhausting my body in sports, when I had not listened to all the signs of my soul manifesting in my body, I completely lost it. I lost my ability to grasp and understand that not everything I think I know is true, that many times I, with my human eyes and body, cannot understand the mystery behind our realities.

I felt I was losing my body, that it needed a vacation and not following any orders from my brain. I also realized that our main purpose in our lifetime is to develop, to evolve into the best version of ourselves not only physically but also, especially, spiritually. People who refuse to change are asking the world to wait for them because they aren’t ready. Life won’t wait for you, and others are inviting you to transform, change, and evolve into a better soul existence than before.

With life challenges, I realized that if I didn’t change my mind-set, my understanding and my actions, I would be the one who suffers and feels stuck. Therefore, I did change, and it was hard, challenging and very meaningful for a very long time. Many times, throughout my life I didn’t understand why things were happening to me, but I definitely learned with years that not everything that feels real is true, and things don’t just happen to me, they happen for me. Those times were when all my fears and secrets couldn’t be kept inside, even from myself.

Many times, in my life I was disappointed, broken and lost. I guess that is part of readjusting our intentions, mind, body and spirit. But with these disappointments came a new reality and new choices. You know you are in the right path when you start to feel and see that more than just aspect of your life is being empowered rather than shrinking.

I started observing things that I took for granted. I started asking for signs from God that things will be alright. I didn’t forget about my own personal responsibility to learn, develop and seek to find ways and tools how to live my life better. So I learned to let go of what was not mine and to grasp for what I could, what inspired me and empowered me with no conditions from others.

You see, those people who tell you that you can’t do it without them or who lead you to believe that your life will change only because of them, are fools and liars. They are fools, because they are not the source of life. They are liars, because they are just as human and mortal as you and have their own challenges, weakness and troubles in their lives. Moreover, if you put your trust in them, soon enough they will disappoint you or vanish from your life.

    Why?

Because at the end of the day, God is the only one who is responsible for our reality and destiny.

God makes things happen, God also makes things gone! How many people in your life do you know who did everything possible, yet their outcome was very poor, either from their own lacking, irresponsibility or jealousy or from a faith that led them to believe something or someone else was responsible for it?

    Charging Your Soul

When you go to sleep, what’s really resting? Your body?

You can rest in your bed all day long with your legs up and still be tired at the end of the day. So what’s really charging up there when you close your eyes at night?

What’s really happening and where are you going when you finish your journey in this physical world?

It’s your soul, your light and your engine, besides your heart and your physical brain. It’s the light of God that is within you that needs to go home after a long day.

The One who put breath in your body is not your physical biological parents. It’s your Godly Father in the sky who decided when, how and where you would be born.

Take the time to explore, to challenge what your soul is all about; it’s quite simple when you get it, that is, you are joining hand to hand with your God.

You are the one who makes the choices of what and who you will be—you don’t need to ask who you are; rather, ask what and where should you be? Where should your footsteps lead you, what you should create with your hands? You will know your answer once you start seeking, seeking your God, your light and your path.

You know that the love you receive from God every day is when you wake up in the morning and can smile. It’s a great surprise that you can smell, use your senses and understand the spiritual fuel, when you understand that the real source is within you, waiting for your own private call. He is waiting for you to create a meaningful journey that only you and He can talk about.

    Dr. R’ Gil

There are many life lessons we have to go through. Life is a masterpiece of our creation. Nevertheless, God is the master producer of our lives. He is there for us at every turn, in every event, in all ways. It’s we who are unaware of Him or of His active engagement in our lives.

Only when we feel uplifted by a great major event or go through a major struggle do we become aware of and acknowledge the presence of God, the Divine in our lives or, at least, we start to seek Him.

I want to share with you a few highlights in my own life. The reason for it is to come to acknowledge lessons I had the privilege to go through and, please God, to inspire and empower you, our readers, to find the spiritual lessons you have gone through and are going through in your own private lives.

I emphasize that I am a human being with challenges just like you, someone who is a soul seeker and a student of life just as everyone else is. The great lesson to be learned here is to become aware of God’s presence in our lives as we navigate our lives, as it tells us a great life story through which we achieve belief and active faith.

Active faith means that we actively engage in and perform actions based on our beliefs, even though we are not yet there in achieving our goals, such as accepting upon ourselves a certain way of life, a path, that we know to be honest and true, respectable and according to God’s will as He revealed it to us in the Bible on Mount Sinai. Active faith is not just about our actions but is also and most importantly about our morals and ethics that are involved as our inner engine of those actions.

Moreover, private supervision is those occurrences in our lives in which we stand in awe and amazement, seeing that a heavenly hand has intervened in our lives and taken us out of our struggles, saved us out of hardship, traumatic events and circumstances, etc.

It’s only over time that we are able to start to connect all the dots in our lives into one great masterpiece. It’s then that we can we really see the active hand of God that has always been there in our lives.

I will share with you a few events that come to mind and touched my heart. They are definitely not all of them, but they will give you an example of how I read the book of my life, how I had and have my own challenges in facing my own life, its struggles and in deciding to go through them with belief and active faith. I hope you enjoy!

I remember vividly, as a child of about three years old, climbing over a very high metal railing and suddenly falling over. My entire body was hanging down, and I realized to my dismay that my left foot was caught between the railing and a hot water pipe running there. Being just a toddler, I tried to get my foot out, as it was getting heated. I didn’t realize that I would fall to my death if I got my foot out.

Some kids happened to see me and ran to call my mom. She came running and pulled me out—hands, body, and feet. There is no question in my mind, that that foot getting caught there was an open miracle and private supervision, for if it were not for this happening, I would not be here writing these lines to you…

My parents emigrated from Israel to South Africa when I was a child, which created a great upheaval for me, a cultural and social shock. My natural desire was to return to the original land of my birth, to my known environment, friends, school, relatives and comfort zone.

However, there was no realistic solution of this sort. I had to stay in South
