Lucy is excited to spend the day with her grandma, and is anxious to know what Grandma has planned for them to do that day. Grandma has decided she will teach Lucy how to make dough so they can have pizza for supper. This will take some preparation, but Grandma is not prepared for some very sticky situations! The day is fun-filled with lots of things to do, and Lucy is anxious to make her favorite homemade pizza with Grandma.

Marie Serio is the author of five books. At eight years old, she was inspired to write poetry, which came naturally to her. She created and was editor of Poetry Corner, as well as doing freelance feature stories for Connecticut newspapers. It was then that she began writing children’s stories from true experiences. Over the years, while working in a middle school, she inspired children, to “Follow your dreams, your passions, and never give up.” Her love of writing also includes traditional letter writing and a card ministry for those who look forward to inspirational uplifting. Marie was born in New Haven, Connecticut, where she grew up. Later in life, she resided in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and Waterbury, Connecticut, before recently retiring to South Carolina with her fiancé, Bob, their dog, Missy, and their potbellied pig, Piglet.
