Family Memories

THANKSGIVING is always a special time for families. And it’s one of those last remnants of the old days where mommas make the entire family scooch up to the table—with too many people wedged in and sitting elbow to elbow—all in the name of a family meal and lingering around the table. We still do that at our house. Dallas and his family, and Hannah and hers, too. That’s 10 of us, total. But some years, we join in with other parts of George’s family, too, and that makes for a big table, lots of smiling faces, and a lot of lingering.
