About this ebook

Bullying is a serious worldwide epidemic that endangers children as well as adults. My book, The Woodman, is a fantasy tale of a child who was finally taught a lesson on the dangers of bullying.

My inspiration for writing this book was a neighbor whos been blind since birth. We were chatting one day, and she told me her eleven-year-old daughter does not want to go to school because of the constant harassment she endures due to her mothers visual impairment.

My first book, Poems of the Soul, was a collection of my award-winning poems. I have written over four hundred poems and several short stories, some of which I intend to include in my next book. I’ve been writing poetry for many years when the feeling moved me but just recently realized I enjoy writing short stories of significance. I’m hoping this book will make a difference in the lives of children, teachers, and parents. My objective and ultimate goal is to distribute this book to the school systems as a learning tool on respect and compassion for all human beings.
