Sonia Okwum is an ordained Apostle who sincerely loves Jesus Christ. She is especially passionate about sanctification and the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Sanctification is the bridge between accepting Jesus and remaining until the end. For her this was the most important doctrine she was taught.

As a deliverance minister, Sonia knows the value of remaining free from sin. This is true deliverance! Her ministry is largely carried out with her husband (Tony U S Okwum) the founder of Eternal Truth Network. ETN is an evangelistic and Bible teaching ministry. Sonia heads up Strength and Honour Company of Women, a global prayer and social action movement.

INTRODUCTION

How can we live our lives pleasing God? The answer lies in removing everything that could hinder our walk with Him. For us, that probably means we need to deal with sin and things which are not sin, but are not the will of God either.

Come on a journey to finding rest. Just as the Israelites set out from Egypt on the way to the Promised Land, a place of rest and fulfilment; trust God to grant you intimacy with Him.

The analogies are not necessarly the kind you’d expect in a book on biblical teaching, however, the author’s prayer is that the metaphors would bring to the surface issues which words cannot. Besides, the analogy of breath and pure gold are found in the scriptures.

By keeping our faith pure and shining in the darkness, we have the honour of taking the gospel to every individual we meet. There may not be time for explanations or verbal communication, but that life of pure gold always leaves a mark on its recipients. I have been radically affected by meeting Christians who are ‘real’ and who radiate God’s presence and it was truly life changing. I trust you will be an instrument in God’s hand for Him to use in similar ways.
