The...view moreI was baptized and raised a Catholic. I went to parochial schools. After graduation from high school in l970, I got mixed up with drugs and then a cult. For five years I became a Bible thumper. Then I had a nervous breakdown. Things no longer felt right. Something was missing. After periods of time out from the world in hospital settings, I had started to attend Mass again. Slowly I was recovering from a terrible trauma. I had delusions, rapid mood changes, identity problems, and a lot of confusion and anxiety. I went back to college and graduated with a degree in University Studies. I took classes in the Social Sciences, Philosophy, Religion, English, Communications, and Music.view less
