About this ebook

In Time to Listen author Ken Freschi continues to share messages that he has channeled since 2009. Our awareness and acceptance of our Divine connection is critical to understanding why challenges present themselves in our lives. Where Kens first book, Our Walk to Eternity, leaves off, the messages of peace, love, and hope, intertwined with his everyday experiences, gives readers an inside view as to what life is all about. Kens willingness to leave his comfort zone and share what he has been gifted has been a source of peace, comfort, and confirmation for those open enough to embrace the messages brought forth from beyond the veil.

Time to Listen will instill in us the hope, peace, and joy that is lacking when we are presented with the inevitable challenges of life in this world. Through the words of the Divine, the reader will gain the clarity, the acceptance, and the understanding that are key to living a joyful and fulfilled life. You are much more than the person looking back in the mirror. Open your mind and heart to who you truly are.

Ken Freschi

Ken Freschi spent thirty-seven years as an automotive technician, co-owning an automotive franchise for twenty-five years. In 2009 Ken was gifted with receiving Divinely-inspired messages. As time progressed, a sense of disconnect was felt between himself and his chosen career. With a faith in Divine timing and God’s guidance, Ken sold his business in 2014 to pursue a more spiritually-centered journey. With an amazing new perspective on life, Ken published his first two books, Our Walk to Eternity and Time to Listen in 2013 and 2015. The messages in Ken’s books are placed in chronological order only to show what was occurring at the time the messages were received. He is quick to add that the messages within the books have been spiritually gifted, a gift he must share. Ken received training as a certified Spiritual Counselor at the Psyche Institute for Higher Learning at the Healing in Harmony Center in Connecticut. He furthered his spiritual development at the Robbat Center for the Advancement of Energy Healing in Massachusetts. Ken now walks forward on his path with a renewed sense of peace and faith that all is as it should be, and has given up control to God and His guidance. His new path includes being an author, spiritual counselor, an Akashic Record Reader and a Reiki Master Teacher.

    PREFACE

One day you wake to find the world is a much different place than it was when you went to sleep. Perceived as positive or negative, the change that the world, your world, has undergone is dramatic. How we react to this change is, many times, the catalyst for our journey of awareness to begin.

With the first message I received and acknowledged, I sensed I was in for an interesting ride. Gone now are some of the things I felt were important in my life, and the inner voice we all have has become the loudest. Whether or not we listen is another story.

We all possess that inner voice, intuition, a knowing that some event may or may not be positive for us. Listen. That inner voice, your soul, is speaking to you, and you must heed its advice if you are to live your purpose. Guided by a Higher Source, this voice seeks that which is best for you. Guided by God you can find yourself in a place on your path you never would have imagined existed.

My first book, Our Walk to Eternity, and now this second book, have been published by me, but written with Divine guidance. Just as the music you hear in your daily life is created somewhere else by someone else, your receiver picks it up and plays it for your enjoyment. So here I am, a receiver, a speaker in a sound system, broadcasting only what is sent for your enjoyment, for your greater awareness, and for your spiritual revival.

Just as I have tuned out the world around me, or better yet, tried, you also can choose to listen to the positive, uplifting, and Divine guidance your soul has in store for you. The best guidance ultimately comes from within.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Most of all I thank you, God, for this wonderful journey here on earth. I have stumbled many times, but Your unseen hand reached out to pick me up and guide me to where I am today. Events in my life can now never be explained away as mere coincidences; instead, knowledge of Your presence is my constant companion. I never would have made it on my own, thank you.

To Cathy, thank you for the necessary prodding to continue forward with the writing of this book and rereading the messages. This was not the nagging of an overbearing wife, but instead, it was the task of a soul mate whose only purpose was to see me evolve to where I should be.

To Priscilla, I consider you a new-found friend. As an extraordinary healer and medium, the gifts you possess and your words of encouragement get right to the point and are not sugar coated. I like that, and no longer do I wonder, what would Priscilla say? I have begun to figure that out on my own. Your enthusiasm with regards to helping me get my first book out there gave me the impetus to continue forward with this second book.

To Cindy, thank you for introducing me to a whole new group of like-minded people. Newtown, and the souls involved, will always be in our hearts and minds. Your openness to bring forth the message I have received concerning that terrible day, will be instrumental in the healing that will take place over time. You truly are doing God’s work.

To Effie and Ron, thank you for introducing the messages I have received to friends, clients, coworkers, and to your spiritual family in Sedona. Through people as yourselves, God’s message will spread. We are all sent here to serve each other, and you are perfect examples of how we should be.

To Mike, thank you for your editing skills, and although I was never your student, you will always be a teacher of mine. First you were a teacher in B hall, then a customer, and now a friend; our dance in life could only have been created in His Light.

To Pat, thank you for keeping my energy flowing as it should. When I first met you, I thought my qi was quite fine, but you proved me wrong and brought me to an openness that was instrumental in opening me up to receive such Divine messages. You are truly one of God’s light workers.

To Mary Ann, thank you for putting me on the energetic fast track. Your gifts are amazing, and your connection to source is enviable. Keep doing what you do, and if God has any chosen ones, I am sure you are among them.

To Anda, thank you is not enough for the beautiful artwork you gifted me which adorns the cover of this book. Having personally watched this painting develop, and hearing you receive guidance from the other side, I know that your work is Divinely influenced. From beyond the veil, angels guided your hand to show us a slice of heaven.

Last but not least, thank you to all who have been inspired by the Divine messages contained in, what quite possibly may become a continuing series of books. By spreading the word, we are all instrumental in putting God first in our lives. We have an obligation, responsibility, and a need to bring God front and center in our lives, country and world.

Although all have differing ways of honoring God, when the honor is placed in a vessel of unconditional love and forgiveness, our world cannot help, but to find favor in God’s eyes.

    INTRODUCTION

As I begin writing this second book, I am in the midst of a new chapter in my own life. Having just closed the business I have run for over twenty-five years, in a field I have worked in for over thirty-seven years, a life changing opportunity waits. A friend once said, When one door closes, another opens; it’s the hallways that are the problem. That may very well be true, but in this instant, I move forward with a bit of trepidation, but excited nonetheless.

Many times we spend too much time looking at the doors that close instead of looking at the ones that open. Well, I’m not looking back, and even though it has only been a few short weeks, I cannot imagine myself going back into the same field again. I need to find a place of employment I look forward to going to. I can hear the comments now, It’s a job. You need a paycheck. All this is true, but what I have found since writing Our Walk to Eternity is that there is much more to this existence than the day-to-day grind of trying to acquire stuff and getting into the rut of work and sleep, day after day. I realize that there are some people out there who really enjoy their jobs and the fulfillment that it brings them, and that’s great – I was one of them. Gradually I felt a shift, a change of heart, and that culminated with the writing of my first book.

This respite from being a member of the workforce is now being viewed as a gift. It is a gift from Heaven to give me the time and space to recharge my batteries, find some peace, and to get cracking on a second book. The messages have continued and are in a similar context as in the first book; but in addition, I can now be questioned by someone about something going on in their life and at times receive an answer to that specific question. This is not to say that I claim to have psychic abilities and will start predicting future events; instead, the messages received are no longer only answers to things that I question. They no longer arrive in just the early morning hours; they come no matter what is going on around me.

I have been blessed with many kind words from those who have read my first book. Some of these people I would have expected to hear from. There are others who surprised me with openness on their part to even read a book such as Our Walk to Eternity.

Yes, I know that judgment thing has reared its ugly head again. I will once again reiterate, as I did in my first book, that I, for one, have difficulty in being as forgiving, loving, and non-judgmental as prior messages have said we should be. I had a longtime friend read my first book, and he sheepishly said, Ken, you aren’t always the way your book says you should be.

My first thought was, and you think you are? Not really, but I explained to him that I didn’t create the messages, I received them. I, like anyone else in this world, struggle at times to be the best I can be in the eyes of God, and the only thing I can do is to fight the good fight and continue on, each day trying to be better than I was the day before.

As I begin this second book, I am reminded of the time I won a car. Yes, I know, everyone is trying to figure how the winning of a car, a material thing, finds a place in a book like this. It has to do with God’s way of paying us back for our faith, integrity and downright old-school way of doing what is right.

My wife came home from shopping one day with this package of chicken that offered a chance to win a car. I spotted that and filled out the entry blank, wondering why my wife didn’t get all the chicken just to increase my chances. She looked at me with that look of You really think you’re going to win that car? She laughed it off and seemed somewhat disappointed in my childish hopes.

The day after I mailed my entry in, it was long forgotten, and I went about my life. A few months later, I get a call from a guy with a distinct southern accent telling me I won a car. I’m like, What car?

The one from blankety blank chicken, was his response. We need your social security number.

I’m thinking yeah right, buddy. This is a scam. Obviously I have a memory like a sieve because it still didn’t ring a bell in my head. I told him to fax his information to me, and I’d check it out. Why I just didn’t hang up like I normally would is beyond me.

Well, to make a long story short, I won the car, picked it up at the local supermarket, and proceeded to spend about twelve hundred dollars on getting the doors repainted. That’s right, the doors and hood were painted with the chicken company’s name on it.

I hung on to this car for almost two years, not because it was my type of car, but because I couldn’t find anyone else who liked it either. I had figured once I got it repainted I would sell it, pay the taxes and end up with a bit of cash. Not that easy.

Finally a customer of mine came into the shop one day and was in desperate need of a new car. I sold it to her for a song and a dance, with only eighty miles on the odometer after two years. This car was the culmination of a good deed repaid.

Just a couple years earlier, I was camping with my wife and daughters in Maine and around seven o’clock one night; I went to use the pay phone at the office. On top of the phone was a jacket, so I picked it up with the intention of putting it in the lost and found. I checked the pocket for possible identification and found nothing except a wad of cash in a rubber band. Now I had to make a choice.

It did not take too much thought on my part as to what I should do: I went to the office and turned everything in. A few days later I was told the jacket and cash were claimed by a man who was camping with his wife and two daughters, and it was his $5,600 stuffed in the jacket. He and his family later came by our site to thank us, and he paid for our week of camping.

I couldn’t help but think what that guy told his wife, Uh, honey, I lost that $5,600, but I’m really upset about that golf jacket. She must have been livid. The interesting thing was that the jacket was left on top of the phone at eight o’clock in the morning, and I didn’t use that phone until seven that evening.

Tying the car into all this, after the car was sold, my accountant called, and I asked him how much I had actually cleared by winning that car.

About fifty-six hundred. He paused, wasn’t that how much cash you found camping a couple years earlier?

It was the same amount almost to the penny. Little events like these in our lives show us that someone is watching, and in the case of many of these messages, they are listening too.

One thing I have come to believe is that God knows our struggles and understands when we fail. With compassion and patience He waits for us to find a better way, and our harshest judgment comes from within. If we are truly God’s creations and He inhabits all of us, how are any of our paths less than perfect for what each of us has come to earth to experience?

As different, interesting, and convoluted these paths may be, we all end up in the same place – a place of peace, forgiveness, love, and a oneness with God.

The completion of the last book left me wondering, Will the messages continue? Has this just been a momentary flash of imagination? Even with the last phrase; Breathe easy. Relax. I and those of the Divine will return, left me pondering, okay, what’s next? I was not disappointed. I received my next message a week later. I succumb to the fact that this will be part of my everyday existence from this point on, and my acceptance of this fact has been quite slow in coming.

The following messages in this book are no less thought provoking, and, in many cases, have a much deeper meaning to them. Once again they are arranged in the chronological order in which they were received, for no other reason than it simplifies the writing of the book. Dates are placed at the beginning of each message as my guide to what may have been
