Please Speak For Thy Servants Are Listening

In a narrow hallway, you walk slowly forward. You know of only one way to go, so you press onward. You look always for signs of light or openings along the way. You know inside that there is no escape, only one way to go from here. You have tried all other means of escape, but none have proven feasible. So you go forth, often afraid of what lies ahead, but your soul leads you onward. You are ever diligent to get to your destination.

As you tire of trying to find relief from the darkness, you give up the fight and become resolute in your determination to arrive at your goal. Your goal is now close at hand. You begin to see glimpses of light ahead. You become hopeful and begin to feel the peace and joy for the end must surely be near. Your heart swells with joy for you at last know that you have walked this long corridor for the very reason of your hope. At last you have entered heaven’s gates. You hear the singing of angels and know that you are at last home with God. You realize instantly that your mission is complete. You have found the true object of your desire. You are home at last. You are filled with more love than you ever imagined.

You have finally seen the light, the light that is God and you are certain now that you have been rescued from the illusions that for so long held you captive. You are finally free from the restrictions of the world. You no longer are held within the grasp of carnality. You have seen the light and it is good. So good, in fact, that you are compelled to help others see it. This light is to be shared and enjoyed by all. It’s a secret you cannot keep. How selfish it would be to keep it to yourself, even though you find it quite blissful and totally comforting. But how can you fully enjoy the experience if your brothers are not able to enjoy it with you?

So you return to see how many you can bring back with you. This is a gift that must be given. You no longer are concerned with selfish things. You must help as many as possible to see the light just as you have. You run back to get as many as you can. You tell a great tale of what you’ve seen and urge others to follow you to the promised land. The joy that you exhibit surely entices those who are intrigued by your story. Some will make the effort to walk the path as you before them. You have demonstrated the worthiness of the effort. Your light does shine with the Glory of the Lord. Over and over do you urge others to seek what you have found. This is your mission. Leading others as you have been led. You are ordained a teacher of many unto the light of God. Go boldly into the light!

The Scribe Described This scribe did not intend to be, yet was somehow chosen. Destiny played its part, shifting me to we, from I to all. I have always had a great curiosity about God and had studied much on the subject, but my primary focus was my career. Learning about God took on a new twist when God inspired me to write the words heard. “Hearing” is not how the words actually come, for it is more of a “knowing.” When the mind is quieted, the emptiness is filled with inspired knowledge. I write as and when instructed, either with pen or keyboard. The vehicle does not matter, but the content is to be kept sacred. Always, I understand that I must keep the sanctity of the gift given. Regardless of my own judgments about the content, I understood that the content is not about or for me. The content is to be presented as received, for the benefit of those seeking to have their questions answered. I cannot profess to be specially qualified, except that I am able to simply bring the words received to print. My credentials really do not offer credence to the work, except that they are verifiable and do demonstrate the normality of my life. I do hold degrees in accounting and education and have thirty years business experience.

Introduction

I, much like most others, did seek to find God and the meaning of life. I had tried church, religion, other religions, books, meditation, etc. I had tried to find answers where none met my needs. When one is saturated by available information, one seeks in the last possible place – within.

To the credit of all of those who have guided my journey unknowingly, the information gleaned from them did lead me to seek within. There are so many, far too many to list here, but none who have not altered the course of my life.

As my teachers learned before me, we are all in this together. There is nothing you do or ever will do that has not affected at least one other person, but more typically many others. One of the most valuable lessons learned came from one of the simplest lessons – I was directed to count all of the people that I see in one day. Never had I looked at life from so broad a perspective, nor have I ever been so altered by a realization.

Based on my reading the writings of others and my own experiences, I consider a spiritual journey to be extremely long and tiresome. In hindsight, I realize that it need not be. God has taught me a simpler way to gain the knowledge needed to advance spiritually. This book is the simpler way to skip over the painstaking years of discovery and begin almost immediately to experience life from God’s perspective.

God did offer for our ease of learning Pearls of Wisdom which are summarized in the back for reference. The Pearls are very simple to understand and simple to use daily. Consider also the very simple lessons included which cause you to discover the truth for yourself. Your truth is the only truth, so take the time to know yourself. It is in knowing yourself that you know God. It is in knowing God that we live our lives to the fullest and love our brothers unconditionally as God loves us. In this, there is great peace – the peace of God.

As I had never been satisfied with the information found, I set upon a journey to experience internal guidance for myself. To date, it has been a thirteen year journey resulting in the conveyance of much information, particularly on the subject of spirituality and improving the life experience. I followed the example of others who use a technique called automatic writing. You simply write what comes into your head. This process continued for roughly ten years and almost suddenly stopped. At that point, I was told to type the book and get it ready for editing. I typed for four months, for as many hours as I could each day, after working full time. No further guidance was received until this year. I was told to finish the book.

Were I a more creative person, I would say that perhaps much of the information was concocted. After having reread the information, knowing how it came to be written, I know for certain that it has not been a figment of my imagination. Some things written surprise I even today, for I know that the wisdom conveyed is not as I would have written it. Certainly, not everyday was one of great inspiration and I did not choose to write everyday. The stresses of everyday life do, if allowed, interfere with the hearing of the messages. The messages conveyed have been edited, removing the very personal and uninspiring contents. The handwritten contents of forty four notebooks were used as the foundation for this book. The bulk of the notes, as written, have been included.

The contents are not meant to be any sort of magical formula for living the life of your dreams nor do they contain any sort of secrets not before known to mankind. The wisdom contained seeks to offer us all the chance to live more peaceful and fulfilling lives by realizing certain truths about life. I have spent untold hours asking the questions that we all ask. I have been led by internal guidance as well as the guidance of those who have sought before me. What most I learned from this is that we live a life of self created drama and most often fail to enjoy the true beauty of this thing that we call life.

We have lived our lives believing what we have been told and have failed to create our own experience. Were we to start our lives with a clean slate, untainted by the beliefs of others, we would find that our lives are lived much differently. But, as we all know, we are the products of our environments. We seldom take the time to search within ourselves to really find our own answers. This was my task, to find my own answers, that I may be able to teach others to do the same. To teach as I have learned is my purpose and one which hopefully will help you on your own journey to knowing yourself.

The italicized words represent the messages as they were conveyed to me. My inputs and questions appear non-italicized. For simplicity, God, the word, represents that which is the spirit within all of us and is all in all. As such, God is the inspiration from which this book came. I have written of God in the masculine gender. This in no way represents my personal beliefs about God, being either male or female, or actually having a need for gender in the physical sense. The format for the notebooks is based upon the biblical reference of Eli telling Samuel, the Prophet, to make he available to God’s messages by stating, Please speak for Thy servant is listening. (I Samuel 3:9-10) This has been changed from singular to plural to include all who question.

This in no way makes the process religious, but does offer a simple approach to set one upon the conscious effort of listening. The Biblical references offer the basis for many of the questions asked, as much of the world’s teaching has come from this or similar texts. This is not to place one religion or scripture above another, but merely offers one vantage point from which to set upon this journey.

The poems are included at the beginning of each chapter. They were inspired as were all the other messages. Each poem contains messages which hopefully inspire and invoke thoughtful consideration.

Chapter 1 – Undoing

Please speak for Thy servants are listening…

As this is the start of a new year and everyone is full of hope – take advantage and bring forth the new to you. Don’t start each day with a bag full of worries – start each day with a bag full of excitement. You cannot know what the day will bring, so why worry needlessly? I know that the concepts that you’ve recently studied have been both inspiring and confusing to you. In time you will understand, so don’t lose focus. The books are foundational information on which you will grow. I have tried to offer a more humanistic approach to understanding me, but I seem to have caused much confusion. Keep seeking and I will teach you the meaning. I know that you want to grow spiritually and are often confused as to how to proceed. I know you and what you need. Don’t worry about the details for we are in this together. I know you have desired to serve me well and I will use you in our best interests. I will use your labor to bring your happiness while bringing happiness to others. Don’t despair for your lack of knowledge and constant uncertainty, just know that we are in this together and all is well.

As you have said many times, in the face of overwhelming evidence people still don’t see. Why can you not see that I AM always with and for you? I have shown you much, still you doubt. I have given you tremendous gifts, still you aren’t appreciative. Why do you choose to doubt that I can do such a simple thing when I have shown you miracles? Don’t let your thoughts and simple understanding get in the way of my power. Know who I AM and know what I can do. Never underestimate the power of love.

People today are so busy looking for something better that they fail to appreciate the wonder of what they have. It is human nature to want more and more – with the more never being enough. As you have realized many times, appreciation for the simple things tends to lose out to the fantasy. Experience teaches us that fantasy doesn’t exist – that it is a dream which will never be reality. Yes, I have told you to choose what you desire and you shall have it. You must realize that what you choose often does not encompass all of life. You tend to choose a thousand parts of the whole without ever looking at the whole. You cry for love and happiness, but never look at what really will make you happy. You see a sparkle and run toward it as if you will find happiness in it, having failed to evaluate it for its true content. You spend your days and nights desperately seeking what you have, but are too foolish to realize.

You think that your wisdom is greater than mine? You even turn your back on me for not giving you what you want. You never give me credit for the gifts I have given you which you have chosen. You always think that it’s not enough – that I have never truly fulfilled your wants and needs. You feel slighted by me and turn away from me. You throw me a bone, occasionally saying God has given me much, while feeling let down by Me all the while. You really do not give Me the credit I Am due. You still believe that you are smarter than Me and only you can find your happiness. You never really trust Me – you have no faith. You suffer needlessly because you think you know what you want. Is it not I who made you? Can not I know far better what your innermost desires are? What is there in life that you can truly control? You really need to work on your trust issues. I told you that all your worry won’t change a thing, so why bother? It is human nature to worry because you actually believe that you can make a difference. Have you really made a difference with all of your worry or have you merely kept yourself from living? You often spend hours worrying about things which really don’t matter. If you spent as much time on things that does matter, I assure you that you would be happier.

I care about you and your life fulfillment – I provided you with the opportunity. For all the years of your life – what have you really learned? You have learned how to cope in society and put aside yourself. You have learned how to please others and ignore yourself. How can you make a difference if you are not even pleased with yourself? How can you positively affect others if you cannot even believe in yourself? What must I do to convince you? You have shunned My every admonition and have chosen despair over happiness and self fulfillment. Why can you not see the light that so brightly shines your way? Why are you so entrenched in society that you cannot even be free to enjoy what I’ve given you? Why can you not let go of unhappiness and experience happiness? Society doesn’t really care about you or what you do. Granted, your lives do affect others and I have given you a heavy cross to bear. I know that living against society’s wishes and norms is difficult, but you must live for you and be glad for what you have.

Be free to be you lest you waste more years searching to find a dream reality which will never exist. This is what you have – make the most of it! Don’t waste another minute questioning My motives or the motives of others. Live your life to the fullest – live each minute as if it were your last. Be proud of yourself and be thankful for all that you have. Don’t squander your life in search of wants or wishes – realize that you have all that you need. Know that you are not alone as I AM always with you. Take My hand, walk with Me and trust Me enough to know that I AM here for you and will never leave you. This is the greatest gift of all – know that I AM forever with you and will never let go. Get up in the mornings and say good morning God – what are we doing wonderful today? Know that every minute of your life is valuable and is waiting for you to experience. Don’t sit in fear waiting for Me to protect you – My protection is guaranteed. Ask with anxious excitement what we are going to do today. Know that you do make a difference, but that you cannot change everything. Strive to do your best and make your life the best that it can be. You will be amazed at what a difference this will make.

How can we better serve God?

By stepping outside of yourself and helping those whom I have chosen to send to you. You must know that by serving others you are serving Me. In turn, you are helping to serve your purpose here on this earth. Know that your time is limited and that you must make every moment count. Don’t waste any more valuable time on frivolous pursuits. In this you will be fulfilled and rewarded. It is when you are not walking down the right path that you experience discomfort and anxiety. Your heart knows when you are doing what is right and good. You just simply know it – without question. When all seems right, then you’re where you should be. When everything seems misaligned, then something is in the wrong place. Everyone needs direction, so don’t be hesitant to ask. The more you ask, the more comfortable you will be in asking and the more confident you will be in the direction given. When you stop to question everything because it seems odd, then you only waste valuable time and cause yourself needless suffering. Certainly you have the freedom to question, but at some point your faith should have grown to the point of blind trust. You still doubt too much.

What will it take to convince you? You still cannot trust Me after all of these years. You have known Me for many years, yet you doubt as you did on that first day. Surely things aren’t easy and there is much that is not known. The human mind cannot even begin to comprehend all that there is to know. Building blocks of faith are what you need. Learn to develop them. You must learn to accept the things that you cannot change. You must strive to see the lessons in life and grow from each experience. Trust in Me and do not fear. I love you and you are Mine. Fear not for how you will better serve Me – leave the details to Me. Remember, I know what you need and I know what’s in your heart. For a pleasant change, give Me the credit that I AM due – let go and let God!

What lies ahead?

Many spiritual experiences which will open your eyes more and more, bringing you greater spiritual maturity. Your walk with Me will take you to new places which will both excite and inspire. You will learn that it is not a place or thing which brings happiness, but what lies within. Don’t be afraid of new experiences – welcome them with open arms. Take advantage of the opportunities given and seek ever more. Don’t let worry precede your every step. Go willingly and freely and I will add all things unto you. Make the most of the opportunities ahead and know that far greater happiness than you have ever known awaits you. This may be difficult to foresee, but it is the time for blind trust and growth as you have never experienced. I have made it so that you never have to walk alone, but that you are always supported. Don’t seek today – yearn for tomorrow. Something wonderful waits!

Are any preparations necessary?

Absolutely not – go about your lives and know that greater than that you have ever known is just around the corner. Spend much time anxiously awaiting the journey to begin. You can’t even imagine the splendor ahead. Trust Me and I will make all of your desires come true. Don’t get distracted by daily impatience or despair over circumstances. You have served Me well and your reward is at hand. Pray much and worry not.

At this very moment, I notice that you have already started to become anxious. Fear not and relish in the excitement. Run toward tomorrow knowing that I AM with you. For so long you have worried about how to please others. It is time that you shall be pleased. Your reward is near and I will provide for you beyond your wildest dreams. Think not of material goods, but of the truest form of happiness and joy. Concentrate on the highest measure of happiness you have ever known and multiply it many times. Self satisfaction as you have never known will be yours. You have always worked to be your best and to be My faithful servant. Your efforts have brought you to this point. Don’t despair for a minute longer. Your eyes cannot see what is ahead. Lift yourself out of this depression and uncertainty knowing that the fruits of your labor are ahead. How much longer must we wait, you ask? Your journey will begin tonight with unbelievable speed. Lift up your head and know that all is for your benefit and you will see amazing things. Your suffering is over! Your happiness is now!

How can our faith be increased?

You must first want to increase your faith. You must choose to have greater faith and be cognizant of those times when your faith has waned. You must have faith that I AM always with you and will always provide for your needs. You are too quick to question and that is ok. You need to understand and to grow spiritually. You need to question so that you will ever be a better person, always growing in your faith. By understanding, your faith will grow. Have you not learned much about life in the past year? Have you not grown spiritually by understanding that the person must choose for him/her self to live or to die? You questioned and did learn from the experience.

Certainly, there is much more to learn, but most important is the fact that you have chosen to learn. Once one realizes that the desire to learn is present, then the learning can take place. You will not always understand what is happening until well after the fact – hence, the importance of faith. Now that there are lessons to be learned and that you have realized your desire to learn, I will provide you with the tools needed to accomplish your goal. Having witnessed such things repeatedly, you will learn to see a trend which will teach you to expect the answers and to hold tight until you receive them. This process will continue through the end of your life. Your life will be much easier with each lesson learned. As your faith increases, so shall your comfort be increased? You have learned much and have realized that life is but a small part of your journey and that your choices really do impact the journey.

As you grow further in your spirituality, you will realize that it’s not one event that changes everything, but a series of choices which make up the whole. Granted, in life, it is easy to be caught up in the moment or be overwhelmed by circumstance. Spiritual maturity evens out the situational impacts and provides a much greater perspective on the whole. Haven’t you noticed that the elderly don’t get excited over the little things? They have learned that the ups and downs are merely part of the process and seek to look at the really important things in life. This is why grandparents deal so much more easily with children. They have realized that there will be ups and downs, but quality time spent is the most important experience of all.

Hardships do happen, but they are part of the learning experience. How can one truly understand the beauty of life if they have never known hardship? How can you appreciate wellness if you have never been sick? Understand always that life is full of choices and that with each there are consequences. Learn to make choices which will leave you with no regrets; have faith that all will be ok in the end. Know that I AM with you always – you must learn this above all else. Once you have firm grip on this, you’ll never wonder about having enough faith again.

What has been accomplished lately?

Much has changed which has brought forth more meaningful changes. You doubt as always, it is in your nature. You fail to see the truly obvious. You see the things that would be obvious even to a child, yet miss the truly meaningful things. Look as if you were Me and take a different view of things. You have looked to see what is truly important, not just a moment, but the entire spectrum of the whole. You see the importance of self fulfillment and the beauty of each day. You have seen tragedy turn to a spectacle. You have seen and experienced real changes – you have changed. You have much to learn, but you have learned much. You have put aside many childish and stubborn things for the good of the whole. You have learned that winning truly is in the whole, not the miniscule. Winning battles, while losing the war, isn’t very rewarding. Raise the bar and seek higher more lofty rewards. Truly from My vantage point, it’s so very easy to see the big picture – what’s really important is so very obvious.

Acknowledge your accomplishments to date and show appreciation. Then move to the next level. The next level will bring you to a place where peace resides, where there is comfort in knowing that you have chosen well and appreciate where you are. You must learn to appreciate daily the special gifts in your life. Rejoice in the wonder of it all. Speak it to yourself and others and take time to relish in the moment. Spend more time laughing than you do worrying. Know what you have and enjoy the comfort. This is the secret to success – appreciate what you have and seek to make it better and more meaningful. Work on it till you are as close as possible to Oneness. The wise are the ones who understand the beauty of what they have. If I have given you something or someone, how do you think that you can do better?

People do spend their lives chasing happiness, but how many find it? Talk to those who are truly happy and you will hear great stories of gratitude. The happiest people are not the richest or smartest, but are the ones who realize how lucky they are to have what they have. It is easy to be dissatisfied with one’s lot in life regardless of the circumstance. How much easier can it be to appreciate what you have and find happiness where you are? Yes, ambition is human nature – everyone wants to be successful. But as you work harder and harder, you realize that it is never enough. There must be a point when you are satisfied with where you are. Always strive to live and learn, but don’t let greed be your only reward When you lay down to die, what will you see as having been most important? Be honest – you will only look at the quality of your life as it relates to the people in your life. You won’t be worried about having a fancy car or house. At that time, you will be able to see the big picture and just as you can see it then, why not now? Take the time to imagine that you are on your death bed – what will be most important to you?

God, what sign of comfort will you give us to help us through this time of change?

I will show you amazing things – stand back and watch. You are asking for a sign – you will have many. Starting now, as you have asked, I will give you comfort. Let your worry stop – look up and see Me this very moment.

Help us to know You and Your goals for us.

My goals for you are your own. You ask for spiritual growth, but don’t see the entirety of the growth. Take for instance your friend. You have come to realize that you can only help her make her choices a reality. You question My motives, but have realized that she has chosen to end her suffering. Your life has been luxurious in comparison to hers and you must realize that her body has suffered much. She is tired and you have realized this and have chosen to help her find peace. You have grown in the aspect that you can look outside yourself and feel the needs of others.

You still seek to control instead of experience. It is your nature and it is what you have been taught. You have looked at your life and realized that in spite of the ups and downs that the overall has been ok. Your career has advanced in spite of those who do not share your best interests. You have persevered and stood firm on issues which were important to you. At times you have chosen to fight when it wasn’t necessary. Ask yourself in every situation – what’s the big picture? What’s really important in every situation? You have always done this, but have not always had a broad perspective. With each situation, look to what is ultimately beneficial to all. Don’t be discouraged by life’s challenges as they are tools for your growth. You have faced these same circumstances before and have behaved well.

How will you ever grow if you continue to concentrate on fear? Yes, fear motivates, but it also destroys. Yes, life is full of choices and it is difficult to know which choice to make. You feel comfort with the choices that you have made, don’t question future choices. Go with your highest feeling. You know that you are unsettled in your present situation – you feel unchallenged, so you have wisely sought other opportunities.

You would limit yourself to a life of drudgery and dullness. Don’t let fear control your life. Only when you have no choice, do you move. How can you remain in the same situation if you truly choose to grow? I AM the prod behind you forcing you to live life to the fullest. I AM the nagging restlessness that you feel which forces you to move and grow. Without Me you would still be at your first job feeling dead inside. I do know what you need and AM behind you pushing you.

But how do we know which is the best path to take?

I have told you that you will know without a doubt when I present the opportunity. You are so very impatient, but will be glad for the time when the opportunity comes. Look deeply within yourself and you will know. Look at all of the things that cause you fear and see if that truly is your motivation. If you think that love is your motivation, then it will be. I will allow you to see the way of love and know that you are following your desires.

If your primary focus in life is to be a better person or to serve others, then how can your motivation be fear? You may have fear about how to accomplish the tasks, but your motivations are the correct ones.

How do we overcome fear so that we may live freely and with love as our only choice?

You have great fear in all aspects of your life. What can I give you so that you can focus on things that really matter? What is it that you think you need to be comforted?

Financial security matters greatly. Emotional security matters much also, knowing that support is there at all times. Spiritual growth is desired at the forefront, but often takes a back seat to more crucial issues.

It is tough to perceive yourself separate from the body – this I do understand. But people tend to let the body outweigh the soul in every day existence.

If our goal is the development of the soul, then should we spend every available moment focused on the soul? Would we not neglect ourselves and others – lose the opportunity to assist others in their quests for spiritual maturity? Are we to believe that Mother Teresa’s only purpose was to grow spiritually and that the spirits of all who were touched just got a side line benefit? It is difficult understand – please tell us so that we can get past this latest hurdle. Why do good deeds go unrewarded while evil deeds go unnoticed or unpunished? If Hitler did what was ok for him and served his purpose, were all those six million Jews just asking to suffer and die? If we are truly the architects of our lives, then where do you fit in aside from a viewer?

As always, your questions are simplistic as you don’t have the grasp of the big picture. There are so many things yet to learn about why you exist as you do. Of course, you are God and I AM God. Understand it as parent and child – I watch you grow and try to guide you in the direction of your choosing. I wish for you to not waste your time on earth in mindless drifting. I want you to learn and experience the wonder of it all. Live your life not in fear. Seize the day and live it as if it were your last. I have told you that you have nothing to fear. But you insist on living each day in fear – fear is your greatest motivator. When will you learn to live just to live? Let go of the hold that your body has over you. Let go of the material world. I know that you seek to be comfortable. You have worked hard to earn what you have. Without comfort, I realize that you will never grow. You are so engrained in comfort that you simply can’t see anything else. This is due to your having to fight for all that you have. You have always been given a back seat when most you wanted the front. You have been passed over repeatedly. Why? Because you are so filled with fear and negativity. You work hard to please, but your efforts are overlooked because of the worry you possess.

How can we overcome this?

Let go of fear! Know that I will give you what you need. You continue to needlessly worry and can’t seem to overcome your fear. You must stop worrying right now. Do this for you and your spirit. You have worried enough to last two lifetimes.

Won’t this make us less than we are?

On the contrary, you will be more than you ever were. Without worry, happiness abounds. Where happiness abounds, you are free to fly and experience new things.

Please speak for Thy servants are listening…

You ask again and again the same questions, but fail to heed the answers that I give. What words can I use to convince you that you have nothing to fear? I offer you solace, but you choose turmoil.

We hear your words, but find that sometimes they don’t hold true. We ask for help, but fight against it. We increase our suffering due to our clinging to the known. God, where can we find happiness and when will we get there?

Happiness is not a place, but a state of being. Happiness has to be chosen, even in the face of adversity. You seek to control your world and find that it continues to control you. Would it not be wiser to enjoy what you have and where you are – enjoy the gifts that are in the moment?

Fear is experienced based and we have all been there. Life is real and so are the associated fears. The great masters didn’t worry about jobs. They were secure and kept. Does the Dahli Lama worry about being on unemployment or the need for health insurance? Certainly, it is easy to have great faith when life’s necessities are secure. We are not so fortunate and must depend on work to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. Relocation isn’t easy, but is often necessary. Why?

Trust Me when I tell you that geography is not your problem, but lack of self esteem is. You have no faith in yourselves and your ability to blossom where you are planted. Security should come from within you and you should trust that, as always, I will not lead you astray. Life’s lessons are difficult and yes I understand. But if you never leave the womb you will never experience life. You must not cling to supposed security for in this life there is none. You and I are the only real security and I will lead you where you soul needs to be.

I know that you greatly fear losing your support, but fear not. There are many lessons to learn and some have more steps than others. You have realized that you have wonderful gifts and are grateful. Not everyone is so fortunate to realize the gifts which have been given. Always wanting more leaves a path of lonely souls. Cling to your gift, but don’t let fear of loss cause you to make choices which are not in your best interests. Be strong and choose for both as all do not have your courage.

Yes, a leap of faith is often what it takes. I know that you need a boost and you are being given it. You have gained experience and have worked out your personal issues. Now you are ready for your next adventure which is just around the corner. The seeds have been planted – wait for My signal. I did promise you a new opportunity, but you did choose to wait until you were more comfortable or miserable as the case may be. I have given you an additional period – a time for you to be further convinced of your unhappiness. You are being bombarded with misery which will make the transition much easier when the time comes. Fear not, what you have you will not lose. Believe that change comes and you must be ready. Don’t worry about losing, for in holding on too tightly you will lose. Be strong and go where you are led. For even one more year, where you are will not bring you any satisfaction.

Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household. (Mark 6:4, NAS) Surely as with them, you must look for respect elsewhere. Know that you have given much to serve My purpose and My people. It will not end here – you will continue in far greater ways in the future. Let Me pick the how and when – just follow My lead. I know what is in your heart and know the desires of your soul. Think of all the lives that you’ve touched. Don’t feel as if you are only books and numbers. Know that you are destined for greatness just as your soul desires. Lift yourself up and feel confident for I will not leave you to be embarrassed any longer. You have suffered humiliation time and again, yet you have stayed the course. You have withstood the emotional arrows shot your way without the conciliatory thoughts once the awful deed was discovered – never an apology for the wrong endured.

Trust that I know and will reward your patience. I will stand you above the others who have relished in your despair – they will know that you are Mine and will see your glory for having stood for Me. The time is at hand – your reward is upon you, guided by My very hand. Look in the mirror and see My chosen one. See the one who will be lifted to heights unimaginable – your humility has made you worthy – your service and empathy for others has earned your place of exaltation. I will fill your cup to the level of your deeds. Know that I feel your pain and I will give you what your heart desires. You have worked hard and have been kicked at every turn. Always modest were your rewards, never at the level of others. They have had their rewards, simple and short. Yours will be through the end of your time. Don’t for even one more second think that you are not one of My choosing. You are and always will be. Your fight for the under dog will bring you the rewards deserved for the benefits of others. Your time has come. Suffer no more. Believe in yourself. Don’t think that you haven’t been good enough or deserving – you have. Always remember your suffering and it will make you great. The Bible tells us, In those to whom much is given, much is expected. (Luke 12:48, NAS) I have trained you via your Mother to be the one who brings millions closer to Me. I will give you the means, but you must follow My lead. Stand ready – as your dreams are about to come true. How, you ask? You will be given an opportunity which will put you in a place to know those who will be the avenue of your success. In the twinkling of an eye, destiny will arrive.

But we are so simple and unworthy – will we know what to do?

How have you always known what to do – the knowledge has always been given to you just when you needed it. I have always been behind you giving you that little nudge – the feeling of inspiration that others believed to be your gumption. It is I who will fulfill all of your dreams. Don’t forget to give back what has been given to you. The time of your life is at hand. Are you ready?

As for your relationships, understand that two are brought together for reasons – to fulfill needs within both. Both are not so far apart. You need to understand that a relationship requires nurturing and appreciation. Self fulfillment only comes through inner happiness and the need for the inner happiness of the other. One can’t be one and expect to be two. Two must be committed to self and other before the true commitment will occur. You cannot fulfill either if one is not committed to the relationship and its longevity. The success of any relationship is based on the commitment of the two. The choice has to be made by both – freely and fully. If one seeks only to fulfill self – then the relationship cannot stand. How can one provide for both? One can help the other through the rough times and it is this that brings about profound internal satisfaction and true deepening of the relationship.

How can we improve our relationships?

I have shown you about the foolish and selfish mistakes that are made. I have allowed relationships to be seen through both sets of eyes which have provided great insight and learning. Focusing on stability and success is counter productive to relationships. Even with the best of intentions things can create divisiveness in a relationship. Selfishness does drive a wedge that is often hard to overcome except when it is brought into the light. But shutting down the dialog is the most destructive of all coping mechanisms. The building up of resentment causes the distance between the two to grow seemingly out of control. So it is never wise to be either too giving or too selfish. Compromise is what must be had, coupled with the willingness to maintain the commitment at all costs. A relationship requires the efforts of both parties, with neither carrying all the blame. A sincere reflection of what is most important does bring to light the value of the relationship and the many reasons for its maintenance.

All relationships do go through times of greater and lesser happiness. The effects of life do bring forth untold damages if allowed. The bills have to be paid, the kids have to be fed, the relatives and friends have to be nurtured. With the uncertainty of life, it would seem that two would be drawn closer by adversity, but instead it seems that the two become pitted against each other in an effort to focus blame. It is known that two heads are better than one, so why not draw strength from each other rather than trying to remove guilt from self? Use adversity to build strength. The comfort of having someone with whom to share adversity certainly beats the lonely approach. Learn to appreciate the wisdom of the partner and don’t try to find solutions for the other. Be there for support as you want to be supported. Relationships are about give and take – there must be an honest fifty-fifty for the relationship to be its best.

Idle hands are the devil’s workshop, so to speak. Instead of learning to make the best possible use of our time, we choose to pursue interests which are selfish and unfulfilling. We pretend that this will bring us happiness, knowing full well that it never will. Instead of pursuing interests which will fulfill the soul, we pursue childish interests whose benefit is quickly fleeting. Instead of helping the less fortunate, we go shopping. What we are really shopping for is the fulfillment that can only come from selfless pursuits. But how much fun can that be? In reality – the benefits are unimaginable. There is no greater happiness or fulfillment than the good done for another. Fulfill your souls by doing what serves our purpose and you will never have to be worried about being bored.

Certainly, no two can see the same picture, but in your desire to share your path with another, you can guide each other to your similar destinations. Nothing is perfect, especially when you choose to fight about even the smallest of details. Look at what brought you to this point, look at those who have lasted and learn. Decide what it is that you truly want and seek it with all your heart. How close you are to being perfect – yet you cannot see it. I know your hearts and am able to see the perfection in the process. Learn that even small changes are really huge when seen from a perspective of compromise. Are relationships less work than jobs? You don’t give a second thought to putting in extra hours at work if needed, but to invest a little more in a relationship seems unfair. Lasting relationships are the ones which are valued beyond all else. The comfort of a lasting relationship is something that money cannot buy. Put a greater investment into your relationships and your returns will be well worth the effort expended.

Your relationships have caused you to look outside yourself to consider the feelings of others. Your motivation to please challenges you daily as you have great fear that you will not. Remember in all the literature that you have read about relationships – fix yourself first. It seems selfish, but you cannot be open to others if you have internal issues of your own. You must consider the choices which benefit all concerned, yourself included. If your primary goal is the satisfaction of all, then you will take into consideration the satisfaction of all.

Chapter 2 – The Unlearning

Your next journey is to realize what is most important in life. You will learn how to make the most of your time, not simply exist for the realization of personal accomplishments. You will learn how to separate body from soul – life from reality and how to seek perfection and growth. You have read about much which has confused you. Now is the time for you to truly understand that each day should be enjoyed and that life will show you many things if you look. Don’t see salary or cars or houses as your happiness, but a true feeling of accomplishment is your goal. Carrying others through their journey is the path to your fulfillment. Look outside yourself and realize that knowing the growth potential of others is your next step to mastery. Your age has made you wise and your wisdom will grow when you look at the big picture and see the beauty of others. Surely you have seen the joy of helping others and the difficulties of trying to get others to see. You will see far greater joy when you see your growth from the growth of others. How better to learn than by teaching others? You have long felt this drive and have sought the opportunity. You will be given the chance to verify your needs and will see the understanding of the path. Choose openness as your medium and let your soul be free. Choose happiness and joy and let your spirit soar. Don’t be dragged down and don’t be anxious for the start. Know that you are on the path and your way is before your eyes. Trust that I will guide you and will give you what your soul seeks. Don’t let life’s ups and downs keep you from your real purpose which is your fulfillment. Think of something fun each day and do it with all your might. Don’t be distracted. Enjoy it as if it is the last thing you will ever do. Go for it – that is your task. Concentrate heavily as if it is the most important thing you will ever do.

What is the biggest block to happiness that we need to overcome in our lives right now?

Your doubts and fears, of course. I have been sending you a wealth of information, but still you are more comfortable in misery. You need to literally Let Go and Let God! That is the secret to your happiness. Once you do this the entire world will be opened to you and you will experience the happiness that you seek. Don’t worry about the practical. As you well know, it will never bring you happiness. Only serving Me will make you happy. You have known this for years, but have been stuck in your practical reality. Let go of your fear and your thoughts about life. Let go of your fears, right now. Let go of your insecurities. Let go of your hurts and hatreds. Let go of your mental, physical, emotional blocks and crutches. Let go and live! I don’t know how else to put it. Let go – let go – let go!

God, please remove our fears and replace the space with happiness. Please offer us your suggestions for the relearning.

Realize instantly when you feel negativity. Realize it and think a happy thought. See yourself instantly in My presence and your fear will disappear. Think of Me and your fear will magically be gone.

How can we experience more happiness in our lives?

Do as I say, let go and let God, and your happiness is assured. I will guide your path and nothing but happiness will come your way.

How can we help others?

Be kind and supportive, don’t be judgmental. There is already enough guilt in place to fill a boat or sink a boat. Let go of your insecurities and they will draw you near. Don’t overwhelm them with your doubts and fears. Demonstrate your happiness and it will give them hope. Have some fun and enjoy life. Don’t let your misery drive people away. Happiness and joy makes people want to be near you. Spread the joy and everything else will take care of itself.

How can we learn more spiritually?

Getting in touch with your soul’s desires is the key to spiritual maturity and I don’t mean that it is easy. It has to do more with unlearning than learning. Unlearning is far more difficult. Remember all of the reinforcement suffered in the learning? Your fun has begun. Studying is good and brings insight, but practice is the key. You are having a tough time with the meditation. It is something that requires unthinking and that is very hard.

Don’t try so hard that you overlook the obvious. There is nothing that is not given to you automatically, so you have no need to seek. Let go and let God. See the beauty in life. There is beauty and you are missing it.

As much as you think that I AM not with you, I AM. As much as you think that I don’t care, I do. As much as you think that I can’t hear you, I do. As much as you think that I just want to make you suffer, I don’t. The bottom line is this – trust Me. You are so quick to judge Me, I guess because you expect Me to judge you. If I don’t give you instant resolution, you say that I have failed you. If you don’t learn to have faith, you will never see the majesty of Me. You will never experience your true destiny if you keep designing it for Me.

§ PEARL OF WISDOM § - All is predestined and YOU can only choose the experience of it.

You said that we are the rulers of our destiny. Now you are saying that we are not?

Alright, this has confused you for the longest time – here is the wisdom that you seek. I choose what you choose. The circumstances were all chosen far in advance of your coming into this life. The experiences are left open for your interpretation. In this life, you have every opportunity to experience things as you would have them. You can experience happiness, sadness, joy, love, fun, despair, etc. In this there are choices, but the overall destiny is set. You have chosen the lessons that you will learn and learn them you will. A lesson can be taught in many ways with varying circumstances. But you will learn what you are to learn. You have come into this life for this purpose. It is a very difficult lesson to learn, for you have spent your life being told that you are in control of your destiny. You have tried with all your might to control your circumstances. From this you have found failure, as you are never able to control anything. With maturity and learning, you find that your only choices are how you experience the circumstances that you face. You can face unemployment as a new beginning or a tragic ending. You can be happy or sad. These are the choices that you have. So, you are the ruler of your destiny, both before and during your life. You pre-chose the circumstances and now you choose the experiences.

Generally, one can surmise a trend if they look at a series – there is more to the story than isolated daily writings. I had hoped that you would realize that the petty daily concerns melted away and gave light to the larger aspects of life such as spirituality. Instead you focused on things that are meaningless in the grand scheme but are important to you. Can you see the childishness of your attention? You look for daily direction instead of life altering spiritual direction.

§ PEARL OF WISDOM § – God will not foretell the future in specifics, as this would cause you to change your reactions.

Why do you seem to give specific direction that turns out to be untrue?

When you have a chosen answer already in place, do you really want the truth? Can you handle the truth? If you knew in advance what was to happen, how would you have reacted? So, it’s not about My telling you things that are untrue for you knew what was to happen. But you had hoped that it would not happen – your worst fears realized, so what you heard was actually what you had chosen to hear, not what was being communicated. You have a tendency to hear what you want to hear, not what you should be hearing. There is a great difference in knowing and hearing, when you have preconceived notions of the answers that you choose. You would have lived without hope had you heard the truth for you felt that you could not deal with the truth. So you chose to hear something more suitable for your life at the time. You have not yet learned to accept what you hear, but are still trying to control what you hear.

This brings us to a much larger issue – how do we know what is true and what is not – how can we distinguish your answers from our chosen answers?

Now we are starting to go down one level, or up as the case may be. My answers are always true. Never doubt that. What you should ask for is spiritual direction leading to maturity and a closer relationship with Me. Asking Me to forecast life events will always leave you disappointed. Life was not meant to be known in advance. Listen more deeply, with an open mind. Do not ask with a desired answer already in mind. Come to Me with a blank slate and let Me give you the answers that you need. Sometimes, the answers are not for you to know. Life is meant to be a mystery for your enjoyment. Trust that always you will be led to where you are to go. If you get in touch with your inner self, you will always know that you know and the asking is merely an exercise in confirmation.

Calm down and feel My peace. Slow your thoughts and don’t let fear get the better of you. Do what you know is right for you. Do right and you will never be wrong. Feel My presence and hear My voice. Peace be still. Take a breath – I AM guiding your path this very moment. You have allowed the judgments of others to overshadow you, the real you. You have allowed yourself to live for others such that you have lost sight of self. Serving others is your calling and you have served well. You have made the most of every opportunity given you and have unceasingly given your best. How can I reward your efforts with harshness? What love would you being to others if no love is shown to you? Being love is about having and giving love.

A child who is never shown love has no concept for giving that which it has not nor has ever had. I have demonstrated love in a way that is not understood by you, but works for the benefit of all. I have removed you from an unloving situation so that I can teach those who only love themselves the misery of their unloving existence. Only by seeing the misery caused can those who cause misery understand it. They wrestle with the results of their deeds. They work for their own interests and never for the good of others. Would you rather see their lives than your own? Your mind cannot comprehend the lack of compassion that they feel. The emptiness causes them to seek fulfillment in all of the wrong places. They struggle not for love, but for power and that is a very lonely existence. You are not a reflection of their judgments about you. You are not a failure as they have believed. You are love and kindness and are the doer of My deeds. They cannot even imagine the effects of their inhumanity. They can’t see much less care about the lives of others. Is that what you want to be or be around? You must hold tightly to your values and your good deeds must continue. I know what you need and I know you need comfort.

The collective will of all does affect outcomes. If your will is weak and without faith, it will be lost in the mass. The analogy of your will being a mere drop in the river of all wills is hard to understand. The outcome is determined by the degree of influence of the drop of your will. If your will is a large drop combined with the large drops of the wills of others, then you can achieve an outcome more to your will’s direction. This is why there is truly strength in numbers. The greater the will exerted, the greater the influence. The larger the wave of collective will, the greater the outcome. Prayer groups are powerful working under this premise.

Do you realize that there are wills joined with your own that you don’t even know about? Of course, you know the will of friends and loved ones. But what about the peoples joined by wills unknown to us? When your purpose is made manifest, it combines with the wills of those who have like purpose or seek the benefit of your purpose. You have no idea of the ripples that your will creates.

How do we see the big picture from our simplified perspective?

The big picture isn’t what you imagine. The big picture is love and its manifestation. If you bring to someone love in the spirit of love, you have given love if nothing else. When you simply ask how someone is doing, is this not loving? You don’t have to move mountains to bring love to someone. Jack was a good example for you. His kind demeanor did not move mountains, but brought love and smiles to those around him. We can never see our impact on others, only others can see it.
