Bishop Dr. James A. Gordon is a member of the New Testament Church of God. He has served as associate pastor of a local church for approximately three years; and then he assumed pastor ship and has been in that capacity for four years. Previously he served as a national and international evangelist; for several years he worked with the National Evangelism Home and Mission Team (NEHMT), serving Jamaica, the West Indies, and the Grand Cayman Islands. He is the founder and Senior Pastor of Macedonia Cathedral Church of God Located in New York. He is a graduate of the Faith Clinic Institute of Ministry, School of Theology, Jamaica W.I.; where he acquired a diploma certificate in biblical studies. He also earned his bachelor’s degree in theology at North Carolina University; where he accomplished his master’s and doctorate degrees in Christian counseling Psychology, as well as a doctorate in psychology conservative Model, and a Certificate in Diagnostic Statistic of mental Disorders, (DSM IV) from Dayspring Christian University, he earned a Doctorate of Divinity from Trinity Theological Seminary, also a Doctorate in Human Services (Social Work) from Oscar Mount University. He is a certified counselor and he has earned a doctoral diploma certificate with the American Society of Christian Therapists. He is a licensed clinical Christian Counselor. He earned his PhD in philosophy at Conan College & Seminary School of Theology. He acquired a Chaplaincy Degree, from the American International Christians Chaplains Association Inc. He also acquired a degree in Domestic Violence Skills Training, from the Joint Commission on Chaplain Accreditation and Education (JCCAE). He is a licensed Master Instructor with (JCCAE). He is the founder of the Macedonia Support Network, Macedonia Theological Seminary and Macedonia Christian Counseling Center; where he is currently developing a training center that offers courses in domestic violence as well as facilitators and Chaplaincy programs. He work with trouble kids and adult who are wounded, to bring back wholeness to their lives. Bishop Dr. James Gordon has preached dynamically under the auspices of the Holy Spirit throughout Jamaica, the Grand Cayman Islands, the Virgin Islands, England, the United States, Cuba, and other countries around the world. Numerous souls have been won for the Lord. He and his wife, Jacqueline, are the proud parents of three sons, Tyrone, Jerome and Teshaun. Dr. Gordon is the author of three books, Purpose under Process, God’s Divine Purpose and Child Abuse and the Coping Strategies.
