About this ebook
This book is about putting your blessings ahead of your stresses. We all have trials and troubles, and we tend to dwell on them. I wrote this book to help people stay mentally and physically at your best and be at peace with themselves. People need to be aware of their many blessings (great and small) and practice thanking God for them.

Preface
I have written this book because I realize how many of us have a problem letting go of our worries, problems, and stresses. One way we can try to achieve a peaceful state of mind in the way God intended is to be aware of our many blessings and give God thanks for them.
Acknowledgments
Many thanks to my friends Helen and Langdon Montgomery and my daughters Melisa and Wendy who encouraged me and edited and printed pages for me and encouragement from other friends. My heartfelt thanks to Christian Faith Publishing Inc. for publishing my book.
Finding Peace
Finding peace in our modern, busy, fast-paced digital world can be difficult because we often feel our stresses before we consider our blessings. One way to reduce stress is to count your blessings before your stresses. There is a blessing behind every stress. You just need to look for it and put it before the stress. You know what your blessings are, and it is good to remember to thank God for them. God said in Proverbs 23:7 (King James Version), For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.
We are worldly people, and we live in a world with a lot of distractions and decisions to be made. Also, there are lots of things to want and not want and to do and not do, and evil and temptations are all around us. Sometimes we want to do what we want to do and do not consider consequences. The Bible tells us it has been like this since time began. Jesus said, in the book of Luke, that we have ears, but we do not hear and eyes but do not see. Paul said in Romans 7:15, I do what I do not want to do. I do not understand myself at all, for I really want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do the very thing I hate. I know perfectly well that what I am doing is wrong and my bad conscience shows that I agree that the law is good. But I can’t help myself because it is sin inside me that makes me do these evil things.
