About this ebook

We have heard some ministers say that it is your belief that will send you to hell and not your sins, and this can be misleading. Because some of you might be deceived into thinking that you can keep sinning as long as you believe there is a God. Not only are some of you living your lives to reflect that kind of thinking, you are expressing it from your mouth. If one does not repent and remove from him his sins, he does not profit his soul any good thing. Remember, repenting is part of the process to become sanctified. All sins, big and small, shall be repented of and forgiven. And remember also, have you forgiven so that your sins can be forgiven you also? It all works together for your salvation to be intact. If you die with any of these sins still part of you, which you have not bothered to repent off, my Bible tells me that you cannot enter the kingdom of God. Think about this, if you really believe there is a God, and there is, you are going to come to a point where you are going to not want to sin before Him and get right with Him. You’re going to judge your own self, because your conscience is going to weigh you down. Don’t focus on the sugarcoated babblings of man and his weak human wisdom, but do focus on the precious bloodshed mercy of Jesus. Those sins that yield short-lived pleasure are only temporary and lead directly to the gates of hell, but your salvation leads directly to Jesus through eternity. Be on the safe side; just repent and get right with God. It is the only way!

    Untouched Innocence - Christine Adrow

    Chapter 1

    Actions Speak Louder than Words!

We, as young people, must be responsible enough to get what our parents did not teach us, by listening to and knowing that wisdom comes from those who are older and have gone where we are just now treading, and respecting them in that aspect. We must put into action what many have just spoken of and never made the effort. Our actions so far reflects that we were not taught anything morally valuable. So we must desire to learn the way and become a part of the solution of the problems that blind us in today’s society. We cannot be just readers and hearers of the Word of God, we must become doers of its commands. Revelations 1:3 makes that clear to us.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it, for the time is near. (Rev. 1:3)

We must learn God’s way while we are young, and we will not have regrets about how we lived before God later on in life. We must learn to live with each other in love, because this is what God is calling for us to do. We must not just say it from our mouth, but we must live it from within our hearts.

Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but indeed and truth. (1 John 3:18)

But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. (James 1:22)

We must not live our lives thinking that we can talk our way into heaven or its rewards. We must not live our lives thinking we are better than someone else. There are consequences when we do wrong, and therefore, for our sake, we must seek the God of our universe and the Son who sacrificed so much for us. It’s up to you young people to learn what is right for yourselves. Read the scriptures and meditate on them for clarity.

Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another. (Gal. 5:26)

For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. (Gal. 6:3)

We must keep an open mind while on this journey through life, recognizing when our neighbor is in need of our help. This is what is meant by actions speak louder than words when you are actually doing good deeds. Some people have lost their lives trying to help someone they thought was in need, and some have decided, by those incidents, that they are not going to help anyone in need. But God said we must still help those in need. First of all, before we do anything, we should have prayed for God’s guidance and protection, and secondly, take someone with you when going out to help those in need, but do not just stop helping people because of a few bad people. Only you can change the way you think and the way you feel about others. Stop allowing others to dictate to you how you treat your fellow human beings. Follow Jesus’s teachings and His living.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Cor. 5:10)

If we say we know Jesus, then we must show it in how we respond to the needs of the poor. We must trust that God will take care of us, and if He chooses to preserve or take our life, we shall be happy to serve Him by helping those in need. It is blessed to lose your life doing good rather than to lose it doing what we know is wrong.

Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2 Cor. 9:6)

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Cor. 9:7)

Let all that you do be done in love. (1 Cor. 16:14)

When we do things in the right way, we will not tell everybody what we did, but let it be kept in secret. No one should know what you’ve done but God, the person you helped and you. We will all have to give an account of what we have done or neglected to do while we lived. If we are looking forward to rewards in heaven, then we must not seek glory and praise from man for the good deeds we do for others but that of the all mighty God.

Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? (Rom. 6:16)

If we are going to be slaves, we may as well be slaves to righteousness and at least gain our salvation. Being a slave means serving in good ways, and serving is healing to the body and spirit of the bearer. I admonish you to choose to do the right thing, and when you are doing good, you can almost feel your body and spirit healing. And please keep what you do in secret between you and God.

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification. (Rom. 6:19)

We must let our actions honor God and bring salvation to us. Let us not be like the hypocrites Isaiah prophesied about in Mark 7:6. Young people are dying and losing their souls to a burning hell for all eternity because no one cared to explain to them that the wages of sin is death in hell’s fire for eternity.

And He said to them, "Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: this people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far away from me. (Mark 7:6)

No matter what we are or were taught, when we are of the age to know right from wrong, it is up to each of us to learn and do what is right. It is time out for foolishness. Many of us want to use the excuse that someone did us wrong so that we can go out and do that same wrong or worse to someone else. No, it is wrong. No matter what was done to you, you will give in account in the day of the righteous judgment of God. There are those who were done wrong and they used that wrong to compel them to be the change, and so can you. Be the change and do what is right. We all have choices to make, and those choices can result in consequences or they can result in rewards and God’s favor over you. If you are tired of all the sin and corruption that you see happening every day in our society, then that is your cue to make change start with you. What actions are you exhibiting? Are they good, honorable, and true, or are they bad ones?

Do this: Make a list of things you are able to do right now, today, that will glorify God and serve His people. Now start to do those, and as you get more able, add to that list and continue to work that list. Watch how life changes for you and how much better you feel about yourself. Do not make excuses for what has happened to you in the past, just do the work of God, and watch how those bad things from the past just drop away from you. That is the healing power of Jesus you are experiencing.

Remember this: True friends will tell you when you are wrong and will be there for you no matter what. If you consider the one your friend who just let you go on down a path of destruction and never checked you on it, you need to relook at the definition of a friend. A friend is one who cares and does not want to see you harmed in any way by anybody or anything.

It is by his deeds that a lad distinguishes himself if his conduct is pure and right. (Pro. 20:11)

Whether good or bad, you are known by your deeds. So think about it before you do it, will it destroy your image, or will it build you up? Will it destroy another person, or will it build them up? Did you know that when you look intensely at the other person’s wrong in a judgmental way, that you open the door for others to look intensely at your actions? Live the life that you proclaim and free yourself from being judged. We can all benefit from this! It is not just a catchy quote or fable, actions really do speak louder than words. Remember this: you can cry and plead your case all day long, but if what you did does not meet with what you said, the other person is going to go by what you did to determine your character. And to lie on top of what you did certainly does not help your image. Always be truthful as much as possible about what you did and accept responsibility for your actions. You will be so surprised in how great you feel afterwards, and you do not have to live that lie.

On these two pages, write what you got from this chapter and use it to make a change in your life.

    Chapter 2

Bullying Makes You Look Bad, and It Is Wrong!

Young people, may I have your attention? God is calling for you to think about how you treat one another, because you are going to have to give account of what you do to another human being, when in His righteous judgment. You must realize that they are people like you, with feelings that can hurt or can feel joy, with self-images that can experience embarrassment or feel proud. They can experience depression or shift into anger mode as a means of self-defense; they bleed red blood just like you when they are injured and, in any case, may not handle things just like someone else. The fact that you or anyone would want to bully another could reflect your own lack of self-confidence. Bullying is wrong, and you will pay!

If a man takes the life of any human being, he shall surely be put to death. (Lev. 24:17)

If a man injures his neighbor, just as he has done, so it shall be done to him: fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has injured a man, so it shall be inflicted on him. (Lev. 24:19–20)

While these things may not happen right away because of God’s compassion, they will come in some form at some point to the ones who goes around bullying others. These scriptures can serve to teach one about how to treat his fellow man and how it can affect you later. What you suffer later may not come to you by the hands of the one whom you bullied—or it may—but it will be delivered to you by
