About this ebook

We live in perilous times, filled with existential problems and challenges. The fate of humanity hangs in the balance. But, according to author Pastor Kevin “KD” Desmore, the biggest problem is that humankind is choosing to ignore Biblical knowledge, and he believes it will lead to more division and destruction.

In The Most Dangerous Problem of Mankind, Desmore addresses this growing issue. He maintains that the Bible is the answer and solution to all our problems. He shares that the most unappreciated verse in the entire Bible is Genesis 1:26. It tells us of who we are, the authority we have and God’s original intent for our lives here on earth. It shows us how we can discover our value and give us a sense of worth before leaving this transient world.

Desmore maintains that our purpose is to make the kingdom of God visible here on earth. If we don’t understand the intent of our creator, there’s no way to fix what’s causing us to malfunction. Through the Tell-All book of God, he implores mankind to go back to the Bible, accept Christ and become partakers of his divine nature.

    Author’s Note

I pray that what the Holy Spirit urged me to pen in this book resonates in hearts of true warriors of change across the world. By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—for the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back! (Philippians 3:14 MSG)

    Chapter 1

    The Philosophical Argument

    Introduction

1.1—The Most Dangerous Problem of Mankind

There’s a growing decline in the interest of adhering to biblical knowledge. We’re living in perilous times, filled with existential problems. And it’s complicated for anyone to solve a problem if they’re determined to remain ignorant to it. They don’t take the time to seek godly knowledge—revelation—and understand what’s needed to create solutions to the problem. Choosing to ignore biblical knowledge is the most dangerous problem of humankind. People are willfully choosing to ignore it, especially when it concerns themselves. We’re in a spiritual-conscience crisis.

This spiritually lackadaisical attitude has proven to have detrimental effects upon our world. It has gone beyond just the shortcomings of individuals and has become the trending norm of our society. People aren’t oblivious to what God has to say concerning morals. They’re just silent and careless. As a result, we’re in danger of destroying ourselves. Our history has taught us that nations filled with immorality descend into bloodshed and the loss of countless lives. Therefore, the fall of nations is hanging in the balance.

Still, the Bible gives us hope. It shows us our value and gives us a sense of worth. It even tells us of God’s promises after this transient world. We can’t afford to remain ignorant any longer. The lack of biblical knowledge will lead to destruction.

A famous motivational speaker and author named Dave Ramsey wrote, That stupid saying, ‘What you do not know cannot hurt you’ is ridiculous. What you do not know can kill you. If you do not know that tractor-trailer trucks hurt when hitting you, then you can play in the middle of the interstate with no fear—but that does not mean you will not get killed¹ (Ramsey 2003).

The Bible has the answer and solution to all our problems. But we, as human beings, tend to pride ourselves on developing things we think can control circumstances in this world. But the post-Coronavirus era has shown that we have to contend with some significant, unprecedented problems. And these problems have become seemingly insurmountable.

Still, the many issues humankind faces are nothing new. They’re just of a more global magnitude. If there was ever a closet for these problems, it doesn’t exist any longer. Nothing is hidden. The internet and social media technology have allowed everything to be visible for the world to witness. There are many problems: cultural, racial, and political conflict; global, climate, cyber, identity, and church crises; mental illnesses; the pandemic; civil and domestic violence; drug and alcohol abuse; and authority abuse.

There was a time when people would say that these problems only occurred in certain places or areas. But it is chaotic everywhere nowadays. No matter where we go, the world’s problems are inescapable—they are inside and outside the home and awaiting us every waking moment.

But the most dangerous problem is that most have chosen to remain ignorant to the biblical knowledge of who God made us to be. Yes, the creator made us uniquely for a specific purpose on earth. Because of their inability to conceptualize Bible teachings on the self-actualization of God in us, many fail to discover, learn about, and fulfill their divine destinies. Our manufacturer, the almighty God, designed us. He made us so we can reflect and
