I’m Blessed

I can see you as my lover, my wife, & my best friend

And if given the chance you will be that till my time on this earth comes to a… .

And when my journey in heaven begin

Regardless of a bad day, it gets better when I put you on my mind

And I love it when you put your phone on silent and say

Your time is your time

She just has to say the word & I’m hers

And I’m ready with no hesitation

Because I never been with someone who makes me forget about the world when I’m with them

It’s like she’s my own personal vacation

It’s like she’s a nice glass of lemonade on a hot summer day

That hits the spot

And it’s like I’m everything she isn’t & she’s everything I’m not

I’m good whenever she’s in my presence

And with her I can forget about the past

Look forward to the future

She’s my gift which makes her my present

I love the fact she speaks my language of love so fluent

So at the chance to bring her in my life I had to pursue it

For her to be in my life I thank my father above

That’s why I hold her so tight when we hug

And when I’m alone, she’s the one I miss

Her smile

Her laugh

Her conversation

Her beauty

The feel of her kiss

This woman stay on my mind
