About this ebook

In this book, Impossible Is Nothing, we look at a life of a motivated young South African man who made it through in life after having had to experience direct poverty in his early life. He has written this book himself, and it was prepared by Simon Motshegoa for publication. It is a very motivational book, and you will learn that indeed, in this life, nothing is impossible if you are purpose-driven and are willing to take the risk. When you wholeheartedly pursue your dreams and stay focused on them, you will eventually live your dream. This book also reveals the fact that success is not accidental but it comes with unceasing commitment.

    Conclusion

    This book is

dedicated to all those who feel confined in their comfort and sorrow state. A reminder of the upper hand you have against today and upon tomorrow.

    Impossible is nothing.

Nothing cannot be done in life.

People have proved that over and over again.

The power of a word and the will for a change drives humankind to success. I believe a change is possible and success favours the prepared mind.

    South Africa

Mzansi my home, Mzansi lekgae laka.

This is a home for us all; it’s no place for special invitations. We all meet, sit together, and drink and dine together. It’s my home where the world meets and become friends. I was born here and bred here, and I will die here. This is home away from home. I didn’t campaign to be here, but I’m in zest that it chose me.

A nation may grow. Petrol price may rise. A population grows. Crime perpetuates. But I like it here.

This is a place of hope, kindness, humanity, and opportunities. Africa is like a plant that gives us life and beauty, a home for us all. It doesn’t discriminate; it accommodates us all.

Like in the World Cup, one nation will win. One ball, one game, one cup, one flag. We are all here.

Penury, poverty, affluence, and wealth doesn’t care about pedigree. When the time comes for me to go home, South Africa, know that I will always love you. In my grave I will be singing the song of love, playing the strings of hope in my skeleton guitar.

We are all proud of the country where we are born. I also love, adore, and admire mine.

    PREFACE

I love my work, for in it I live my dream. Everything is special about my work, and there are special moments related to my trainings, students, and audiences. For I dream, I eat, I get happiness, and most of all, I change lives during motivation talks and I change lives during my trainings. The happiness I see in people’s eyes and the commands I persuade to land in their ears. And most of all, the thank-you I always get from people I meet daily. Every night, before I pray and say good night to my better half, I revisit these special moments, and I’m grateful to be alive and for the talent God gave me. Believe me, there’s no duplicate of me. I have the freedom to express what’s in my heart, playing with words. I strongly believe that no matter what happens in our life, the coercion or force that changes and distracts our path’s initial goals and direction in life pushes us away from our mission. Accept problems as they come. Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up but embracing the situation as it comes and seeking alternative ways to be in equilibrium with your goals. Embrace all situations in a way that best suits your needs and challenge them as they come along with those unplanned events. Who is seeking a change, a transformation, a new beginning? To start over doesn’t mean you forget about the past but make peace with all painful experiences. Forgive yourself, and live within your current balanced life.

    SPECIAL THANKS

My better—half, I would like to thank you for being the special person in my life, for understanding when a dream took me away from our bedroom and left you in a cold bed. I will make up for it this time. Thanks for being there when I was miserable and lost. You’re the pillar of my challenges, and I thank you for that. My love for you is indescribable. My daughter, Gift, you’re the reason I push hard to make things a bit easy for you. Daddy loves you.

My Lord, my Father, Jesus Christ, I thank you. To this day, no words can describe you.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Where does a person begin to forward homage and gratitude when there are many people who dearly contributed in his life? This book is about the reality I have learned about myself in my life, and it is to say thank you to all the people who contributed in my life. Thank you, my father and mother, for teaching me to revere and be in awe of God and be humble amongst others. Losing you was heartbreaking and difficult to understand. May your
