Saumendra
Saumendra strongly believes in love as a miracle that can work wonders. His writings on supernatural romance, coupled with a tinge of suspense, keep the readers glued to the book till the last page. Although he narrates the story, creating a bridge of imaginary visualization, he tries to keep a touch on reality and draws inspiration from human emotions.

Prologue
W e do not see oxygen, but we breathe
Certain things that we do not see, but still have to believe
We come across many things in life which we do not see but they exist like the air that we breathe in to survive, the internet, Wi-Fi and mobile signals that we use day in and day out, but we never touch or feel or see them.
Everything in this universe is maintained by a balance of good and bad, holy and evil, positive and negative. And these balances are sustained by desires to achieve and these desires are carried out in the timeless frame of universe in the form of emotions and feelings associated with those desires.
Human emotions are not bound by time and space which are the two most defying forces of nature. We, with the fear of losing ourselves in this vast universe demarcate time and space in this timeless and limitless space by assigning a number or a name to it like 1,2,3,January, London, Mumbai, Earth, etc. Just to identify our existence in this universe we demarcate ourselves against these two defying forces of nature i.e. Time in terms of date of birth, Anniversary, year of Graduation, and place in terms of Place of Birth, Place of work etc. If we leave any count of dates or do not identify any place by its name, then it becomes impossible to note our existence and we do not have any reference to say what we did, where we did and how we existed.
Hence there is no start or end to any process or event that happened in this countless time frame of unmeasurable universe where planets have been rotating, revolving along with their solar systems from unknown unmeasurable timeframe. Therefore emotions and feelings cannot be confined to time of a person’s existence and do continue to exist beyond that.
It continues beyond days, months, years and ages which is why we sometimes feel it for someone and someone might feel the same for us even when anyone of us is not around. Which is why we remember and miss people even when we are continents apart or may be decades apart. We are not just remembered as events that occurred but also people feel the love, anxiety, anger, hatred and all sorts of emotions while thinking of someone.
So the human emotions particularly when longing for someone continues in this limitless and timeless frame of universe for ever even after the persons are gone. The only thing that needs someone to feel it is the emotional frequency of the receiver matching it.
Sometimes these emotions are so strong that they stick together and disapprove to dilute and disperse in this universe. They become stronger when we remember them and they are felt by us when we name them. When we deliberately try to forget them then we unknowingly feed these wondering emotions with our thoughts and they are drawn closer.
The only way to keep away from them is by the existence of some other positive emotions like love and affection which is stronger and is closer to us and we want it to overshadow other emotions and keep us indulged and engrossed in it.
The absence of Light is Darkness
The absence of Warmth is Chillness
The absence of God is Evil.
With the glow of light darkness vanishes. Similarly, only positivity can feel the void called negativity.
1_Small_Platform_of_Mariani_Jn.JPGJourney Commence Through The Old Tracks Of Memories
I t was 15 past 11 PM and I was sitting on a bench on platform No.1 of Mariani Junction near Jorhat in Assam and waiting to board my train which has already been announced to arrive but was still not appearing on the tracks of the Station’s platform. It was a normal chilled winter night of January but I was feeling the warmth of satisfaction of completing my official task that I was assigned at Tocklai Research station.
‘Nisha…..Nis…. Don’t run. Stay close dear.’ Someone called her sweet little kid as she ran past me on the platform. This reminded me of someone with a similar rhyming name although I was not able to recollect anyone from my recent past.
Suddenly I observed someone at a distance who was obvious to attract my attention with her face which seemed to be much familiar, although I failed to recollect my memories of knowing her. She was clad in a black saree and had covered her head with a black scarf studded with star shaped twinkling golden dots that was reflecting the overhead lights.
My mind which was very calm and restful after the long hectic week of work and travel and was filled with a sense of satisfaction of accomplishment suddenly became restless and started churning out memories with an intension to retrieve any moments of my life that might have been associated with her.
