Dr. Raymond H. Hamden, an American psychologist, earned a PhD (1977) and continued postgraduate studies at the Philadelphia School of Modern Psychoanalysis (1980). With four decades of studying and practicing psychology in the USA and MENA, he has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented before the US Congress by invitation, served as chair on professional committees by government summons, and has consulted in more than thirty nations in the areas of clinical, forensic, and political psychology, with the working application of diversity and inclusion for all age groups. He holds membership in the DC Psychological Association, American Academy of Forensic Sciences (fellow, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Section). There are four things Dr. Hamden has learned in life: There is a God, what goes around comes around, you can never hide the truth, and patterns repeat themselves. With this knowledge and working with more than twenty thousand files of patients worldwide, he has realized the common denominator of all human kind, which he shares in this documented book of work, play, love, worship. Residing in the USA, he continues as a presenter, consultant, and mentor to academia, corporations, and media globally.

Introduction
Time just gets shorter each day! Why is it, with all the time saving aids to life and living available to us, ranging from the laptop to the dishwasher, that most of us have more to do and seemingly less time to do it in? Is it a consequence of aging or simply the increased complexity of life today? How often can you put your hand on your heart and say that today you did not only complete everything you needed to do and that was expected from you, but also found time to spend on things you actually wanted to do?
At work we are under more pressure than ever- cell phones, notebooks, laptops- you name it, we have it. It’s never been easier to work on the road, on the train, at home…even on the beach – yes we actually have a friend who takes his laptop to the beach…along with his kids, assorted buckets and spades naturally. At home, even with fast food, microwaves and dishwashers, the race continues until finally we fall exhausted to bed.
In fact do you ever have time to fulfill your own needs, to sit and read a book, spend a couple of hours with good friends, or simply gaze out of the window at the garden? Or, if you do, do you become consumed with guilt thinking of everything else you should be doing?
How can we do more in less time, and have time for ourselves without feeling bad about it? How can we do our best at work, be available to family and friends, and take good care of ourselves with only 24 hours in a day?
Not easily, that’s for sure, but it can be done. The first step is to review what’s going on in our lives at present,
