INTRODUCTION
In the Bible over 11,500 times three words are used. These words are printed in a special manner to indicate a different aspect of the Almighty’s character. Each one of these words is in the masculine plural gender to indicate the fact that He is a Father, He passed on to His Son His status and that He has a Spirit. That these three aspects of His character are Biblically considered a plurality of one.
Therefore in each verse quoted from the Names of God King James Edition of the Bible they will appear as follows:
the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah)
the strong one (God/Elohim)
the master (Lord/Adonai)
When one of the compound names of the Almighty are used they will appear as printed in the Names of God King James Edition of the Bible.
For a more detailed explanation of the names of the Almighty and how to identify them in the Bible please refer to the Names of God King James Edition of the Bible.
DEDICATION
This little guide is first and foremost dedicated to my redeemer (L
ORD
/Jehovah). Who without his strength, provision and wisdom none of this would be possible.
My sweet wife who has been patient with me these long years as I worked on the Names of God Edition of the Bible from which the verses are quoted.
As a present and legacy to my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; that these guides would help them to have a better life and most importantly a closer walk with the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah).
To a special group of friends who put up with me, encouraged me, and donated their time and resources to help make this project a reality.
In His service that all may come to know Him;
Clay Lawrence
CHAPTER-1
A FATHER’S RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ALMIGHTY, HIS
1. Prayer Life
Matthew 6:5-13
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hollowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Mark 11:24-26
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Mark 13:33
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Luke 18:1
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Romans 12:9-13
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the master (Lord/Adonai); rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
Ephesians 6:18-20
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto the strong one (God/Elohim).
Colossians 4:2-4
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; withal praying also for us, that the strong one (God/Elohim) would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
First_Thessalonians 5:17
Pray without ceasing.
First_Timothy 2:8
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Hebrews 4:14-16
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of the strong one (God/Elohim), let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
First_Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the master (Lord/Adonai) is against them that do evil.
Jude 1:20-21
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of the strong one (God/Elohim), looking for the mercy of our master (Lord/Adonai) Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
First_Chronicles 16:10-11
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah). Seek the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) and his strength, seek his face continually.
Second_Chronicles 7:12-15
And the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
Psalms 27:7-10
Hear, O redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O strong one (God/Elohim) of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, then the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) will take me up.
Psalms 42.8
Yet the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the strong one (God/Elohim) of my life.
Psalms 105:4
Seek the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Isaiah 55:6-9
Seek ye the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), and he will have mercy upon him; and to our strong one (God/Elohim), for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah). For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
2. Study Of God’s Word
Matthew 7:24-27
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Matthew 22:29
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of the strong one (God/Elohim).
Mark 13:31
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Then said Jesus, to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of the strong one (God/Elohim).
Second_Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of the strong one (God/Elohim), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of the strong one (God/Elohim) may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Second_Peter 1:2-8
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of the strong one (God/Elohim), and of Jesus our master (Lord/Adonai), According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our master (Lord/Adonai) Jesus Christ.
Exodus 24:3-4
And Moses came and told the people all the words of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) hath said will we do. And Moses wrote all the words of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.
Deuteronomy 4:2
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the redeemer your strong one (LORD your God/Jehovah your Elohim) which I command you.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt take of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Deuteronomy 8:3
And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) doth man live.
Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong unto the redeemer our strong one (LORD our God/Jehovah our Elohim): but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy 30:14
But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Joshua 1:8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
First_Chronicles 16:14-15
He is the redeemer our strong one (LORD our God/Jehovah our Elohim); his judgments are in all the earth. Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
Job 22:22
Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
Psalms 1:1-2
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah); and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalms 19:7-8
The law of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psalms 32:8
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalms 37:31
1. The law of his strong one (God/Elohim) is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
Psalms 119:9-12,103-106
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O redeemer (LORD/Jehovah): teach me thy statutes. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
Proverbs 6:20-23
My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah), and thy thoughts shall be established.
Isaiah 30:21
And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our strong one (God/Elohim) shall stand for ever.
3. Attitude Toward Praise And Worship
Matthew 4:10
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him. All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) thy strong one (God/Elohim), and him only shalt thou serve.
Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the redeemer (LORD/Jehovah) thy strong one (God/Elohim), and him only shalt thou serve.
John 4:19-24
The woman saith unto him, Sir, I Perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. The strong one (God/Elohim) is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
John 9:31
Now we know that the strong one (God/Elohim) heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of the strong one (God/Elohim), and doeth his will, him he heareth.

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

For we are the circumcision, which worship the strong one (God/Elohim) in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Colossians 4:1-4
Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; withal praying also for us, that the strong one (God/Elohim) would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
First_Timothy 2:8
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands,
