Dedication
Words could not illustrate the amount of emotion I poured into the writing of these poems. Never before have I written such pieces portraying inconceivable feelings of various thoughts. However, without people, places, and things to have been placed in my life by God to challenge me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; then none of these poems would have been placed in my heart to inscribe. Therefore, I dedicate this book on behalf of those who have encouraged, supported, and influenced me. Please keep in mind that I started writing when I was 18 years of age and have matured a lot since then. In no form or fashion do I want these words to express anything less than gratitude towards those who have helped me evolve into the man I am today. My contrite spirit and forgiving heart only taps into the deepest crevices of my thoughts to pour out the emotions, whether stable or unstable at the time, to give insight as to how my mind has changed. Seven years later, I stand in awe to reread these expressive pieces of collected poems, only to see how my will to survive and adapt has given me unshakeable strength to push through. In my greatest efforts to overcome fear and hate, I am a living testimony of a walking, talking conqueror of both thanks to all of you.
Furthermore, I give much dedication to my mother Maru. Mom, you are absolutely a tremendous blessing to me. The impact you have made in my life is profound and has proven to add continuous strength and hope to my spirit at times I was on a spiritual decline. You have kept me on the right track and have never forsaken me when I would go astray. It has been through the power of Jesus Christ that our relationship has grown as mother and son. Your words of encouragement and truth never cease to remind me of how short our time here on earth is and that the only thing that matters most is the love for each other and the gospel of truth to the world. You are the world’s best mother.
I carry the maximum capacity of love "storge" for my six brothers and my darling sister. I know we have not always been close knit to each other; in fact, we all lived our own lives in the past. However, due to the grace of our Lord, we now share laughs, build memories, and bond like never before. Granted the fact that some have moved away to start their lives, I dedicate this book to you Thomas, Richard, Robert, Walter, Julian, Dimitri, and Marissa for the emotional support you all have given me along the recent years
