Katherine was born on May 12, 2002; Mother's Day; a gift from God and my Daughter Lisa. When Katherine was brought into the world I felt a warmth in my heart that I had not felt in a very long time and I still feel it today and every day since her birth. I may not have been very good at a lot of things I have done in my life but I am an exceptional Grandma. It's the most rewarding thing I have ever done and may I say I am a natural at it. I was born to be a grandma, I cook, bake, play every game ever invented including board games with stuffed animals as opponents and make sure the stuffed wolf always wins. I sleep on the living room floor in a fort made out of hanging blankets, go to every performance , event, and function. I've watched the same videos over and over until I can act out each part and recite every line. I pay extra to buy all the Happy Meal toys at only one visit to McDonald's. And every year I take a day off in the hottest part of July so that we can spend 11 hours at the county fair riding rides that make me sick, eating food that makes me sick, and spending so much money on carnival games it's sick. I never have a moments peace and it is glorious; I am a grandma; I am Katherine's grandma; I finally found something I am good at and will never quit, I love my job!
