A Still Small Voice

I guess the first time I heard that still, small voice of God was when I was about six years old. We were at a revival service and the guest pastor asked for a child to come up and answer a question. The piano player had just played the song Jesus Loves Me a few minutes before. As shy as I was back then, I don’t know why I went up there but I did. I approached the guest pastor and he pulled a dime out of his pocket. He said, If you can tell me the name of the song that was just played, I will give you this dime. I replied It was Jesus Loves Me. He handed me the dime and I went back to my seat.

As soon as I sat down and before I could think of what I was going to spend that dime on, the still, small voice said to me, You should put that dime in the offering plate when it comes by. I thought about wanting
